Help! problem loading chapters

This is my first iDVD project, and i have gotten the theme customized, up to a point. But tho the movie segment i dragged in has six chapters, only two show up in the chapters submenu. How do i create more, or is the program supposed to do this automatically? also, there is only a back arrow (to menu screen) and no forward arrow for scenes 3, 4, 5, 6.
I am stressing over this because i have little time left, after struggling so long with iMovie 6 (where the pegs to lock audio clips to video clips kept slipping around). And the project is due friday.
Also, i have added some music tracks to the movie since dragging it in from the iDVD movies pane. I don't know whether iDVD uses the document as it currently exists or whether the doc was imported entire in that earlier version. Looks like the latter.

If you have a complex project that contains large images, an autoplay movie, more than one movie, or a lot of button transitions, and if you keep motion turned on while you are working on your project, you might experience slow performance.
Here are ways to improve iDVD performance:
Consider resizing large, high-resolution slideshow images to 720 x 480 pixels for standard projects and 854 x 480 pixels for widescreen before you add them to your project.
Large images can slow iDVD performance. (The performance of your burned DVD is unaffected by image size.)
Make sure motion is turned off while you’re working on your project if your project has complex dynamic drop zones or motion menus. To turn motion on or off, click the Motion button (shown below).
*Turn off background encoding if you are using the Best Performance encoding setting. To turn it off, choose Advanced > “Encode in Background.”*
*The checkmark is removed to show it’s no longer selected.*

Ok. Here's the results. I tried all the music videos I wanted to put onto the IPod and the results were:
I was able to get good results with 2 full length music videos and 2 video singles(only 2 videos on each disk). For a total of 4 videos.
I was able to encode 5 full length music videos, but the results were distorted (video and audio).
I was unable to copy 2 full length videos due to error failures. 1 was a "No Title Found" error, the other was a "NAVDAT" error.
I guess my next question is: Do you know of any other program(s) that I might try, to see if I can get good results with the videos that didn't work with Handbrake?

It depends on your Macbook model how to open the bottom case.
Anyway you need to open up the buttom case or keyboard panel to access the CPU fan like following.

If you think you can't do that by yourself, you'd better bring it to Apple Store Genius Bar or Authorized Servce Shop to tell them about the problem.

Hey, Thanks a lot. It took quite a bit of time to resurrect this ipod. I tried the upgrade again, but still would not recognize my ipod. So I went to the next step and reset my ipod, wiping of all of the information like it was new. This helped my laptop see the ipod on itunes, but did not sync. So, I deleted the itunes off my computer completely, restarted and then reinstalled the newest itunes, and then restarted. Finally, it recognized my ipod and started to download each song. It took awhile as there was 602 songs, but finally it works. Yea!!! I never had any problem with my old nano, but this touch has been another animal for sure. Thank you again and also the community for information. This was a helpful forum and will recommend to others if they get stuck with their ipod or iphone. Take care, Karen

I should have explained further. The game opens in a new window over to the upper left of my screen, leaving the original page underneath. I tried minimizing it so that I could get to my toolbar and did the View > Zoom > Reset. This has no effect. The lower portion of the game is still not showing. Using other browsers the window or frame of the game is much larger, therefore everything shows.

I don't know if you are still having the issue but if you are have you contacted your ISP? It sounds to me like it's more of a connectivity issue than a browser problem. I've dealt with similar things several times and in both cases it was something with the modem or an ISP setting.
I'm also wondering if it could be a Wi-Fi issue. Can you log in to your router? (It varies by brand but you would go to a site such as http://192.168.10.1. That is for Trendnet. The information for yours should be in the documentation that came with it.)
You should be able to get the router log in page to come up even if you can't connect to any websites. (Provided the network is set up correctly.)
I also would double check your connection settings (if you're connecting over Wi-Fi) or your ethernet connection. (If you're connected directly to the modem and router.)
Hopefully one of these suggestions will be helpful.

Had the same problem and the same message -- was suddenly unable to access icloud apps on my pc, also using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer. After several days of pulling my hair out, decided to try a different browser and was able to get in by using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. Hope this helps.

It is very difficult to offer troubleshooting suggestions when the "os version" you are using is unknown as each os has their own troubleshooting solutions.
How large is your hard drive and how much hard drive space do you have left?

Problem loading images - please help

I have a slight problem loading images. I'm using netbeans 5.0 and have a few packages setup in a project called Maths. In a package called LineConnection theres a class that needs to read an image and display it on screen. To load the image I use:

Image img1 = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getImage(url);This loads the image and I can display it on screen fine.
The problem is that the folder fractions with the images in HAS to be located within the Maths/build/class/LineConnection folder otherwise it wont load the image and I get a null pointer exception.
I want to be able to have the folder containing the images in folder Maths so that it's one folder above the src folder. But if I put it here (or anywhere else) the images can't be found and loaded.
Could someone tell me why the images can only be found if they're within the build folder because it's causing me some problems when I try to create an executable JAR.

I've used:

System.out.println("URL = " + url);to determine whether the file is found.
If I put the file in the folder build/classes/LineConection/fractions/q0.png then it finds the image and prints the file path.
But, if I put it in another folder such as the src folder it can't find the image and url = null;
How can I make netbeans search in other folders for the resources so I can store them where I like?

1) Try to remove the addin and then add again.(Before doing this close all the excel process from the task Manager)
2) Check weather essexcln.xll and essxleqd.xla are corrupted.

Hello,
I installed Photoshop CS3 Trial and whenever I run it and choose to begin my trial period I get the following error message:
"Problem with Trial - problem loading trial period for Adobe Photoshop CS3".
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and even ran the Adobe CS3Clean Script but nothing seems to help.
I should note I never installed any earlier version of Photoshop on my system (I use a fresh copy of Windows XP with only a few programs installed).
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

i had the trial of photoshop on and the trial has run out my friend has given me a disk with adobe photoshop on and i cant do it beacause of the regestry code the photoshop puts in after the trial has ended to tell my pc that i cant have photoshop on my computer again :(:( now i have herd that you can remove the codes but it is quite hard well iam willing for this challenge and if anyone could help me i would reall welcome your help or if anybody has got the link to a tutorial to tell me hoe to do it i would aprecitae that to thank you all very much and post bak soon please

I just spent 3 days with this issue as well. I finally fixed it by reluctantly adding yet another add-on called ADBLOCK
I was able to selectively block google-analytics. Now pages that weren't loading before are now loading.
eg vimeo.com starbucks.com & other random sites.
This was a tough one to fix because there is NO ERROR MESSAGE..page just shows it's loading...forever..& the bottom of my browser says 'waiting for google analytics'. I finally figured out google analytics is the culprit. Ironically, some help pages in trying to find a fix wouldn't load for me due to google analytics arghhh!
Im on a macbookpro & Safari worked fine for these same sites. It was just Firefox. I nearly switched back to Safari because of this stupid issue.

Cannot open grooveshark due to a supposed problem loading flash. (I have the latest version of both (Mozilla and Flash)

Everything with firefox works ok except Grooveshark. An error message appears saying: We had problems loading flash, you might have any blocker etc etc.
I don´t have any blocker and as a matter of fact i have the latest versions for both mozilla and flash. Neither version of flash test nor reinstallation process nor checking add ons or firewall settings solved my problem.

To double-check your Flash permissions for the site, you can click the globe or padlock icon to the left of the address, click More Information, then click the Permissions tab. The "Activate Plugins" section would be the one to check.
I understand you have checked your add-ons, but in case there is an unexpected interaction, could you test the page in Firefox's Safe Mode just to confirm that extensions are not the problem? Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
