HELP! Problems with appstore download and apple id and password
Mac appstore wont let me download apps. Problem is that appstore doesnt recognize my password. At the same time, appstore alowes me to verifiy my accout (my apple id accout which i use for mac appstore) using the same apple id and password. But when I try to use that pass for downloading apps it wont let me. With the same id i can log on icolud.com, and used it to log on this site also.
I am using iMac, early 2009, OS Lion and have different itunes and apple id accounts.
Sign fully out of the store and then back in again.

I have an Ipad 2, a Mini Ipad, an Apple TV (version 3), and a PC with Windows 7 and Itunes.
All devices have the last version of IOS, Apple TV software, Windows 7 and Itunes. All are conected through Wifi. I have several different problems:
1. I have VLC for IOS installed in Ipad 2 and MiniIPad. In Windows 7 I have the Upnp Windows Media server, sharing videos and music. From VLC for IOS in IPad 2, I can access all videos and music shared in Windows 7. From VLC for IOS in the MIniIPad, I can only listen to the music. When I try to play any video from the Windows 7 PC, I get an error 'Reproduction failed'. What could be the cause and the solution?
2. I copy an MP4 video to the VLC for IOS in the MiniIPad, and I can play it well. But if I try to Airplay it to the Apple TV, I just can hear the sound. No video at all. I haven't done the test with IPad 2. Is there any solution for this?
3. I have an Itunes Library shared from the Windows 7 PC, with some films and some music. I have Sharing at Home activated with the same AppleID in all devices (PC, IPad, MiniIPad, and Apple TV). Some times it works, and sometimes no. If I try to connect to the library from Apple TV, it appears a message saying that I have to share de Itunes with the same AppleID (Which is done yet). Sometimes deactivating and activating again the sharing at home solves the problem, but sometimes no. When trying to access to the library from the Ipad 2 or MiniIpad, when it works, in the Music or Video App it appears a bar with a button 'shared' that if I press I can access the contents of Itunes Library, but most times theres is no bar, just a message saying that there is no content, and just a button to Itunes store. Is there any way to make it work always, not randomly?
4. I have two Wifi Access Points at home. I have them configured in IPad and MiniIPad so they connect to the most reliable automatically. But in the Apple TV, whenever I want to connect to one access point, I have to enter the password. Is there any way to connect automatically?
5. Last but no least: Why Apple makes the things so difficult? How is it possible that they sell products so expensive and amazing, and make them so difficult to manage?Hello again.
After lot of research and surfing the web, I have found the answers to points 2, 3, and 4. The point 1 may be solved, but I haven't had time to test.
Point 2: Airplay out of 'official' IOS video player doesn't support video, just sound. To airplay video with a non official IOS Video player like Vlc or Oplayer, mirror airplay function must be used.
Point 3 (the most important for me): Itunes Home Sharing doesn't support IPv6. Windows 7 activates IPv6 by default. I have turned of IPv6 in the network interface of Itunes Windows 7 server, and restarted Windows. Now, home sharing works like a charm.
Point 4. Apple TV, in spite of its size, is not designed to be a mobile device. So it can only remember one Wifi AP password at a time. If you change to another AP, you have to enter de password, and from then now, it will remember it until you change to another AP.
I post it just in case helps to others. -

Problem with torrent-downloading, dont start!?
I have a problem with my Transmission (torrent-downloading), it dont start to download any file. My friends has tried the same torrents-file and with no problems. I havnt had this problem before, it just started recently. I have tried BitTorrent to check if its something was wrong with Transmission but it didnt start either to download (BitTorrent say, "Checking for firewall..").
So have I change some preferences in Mac OS X or somewhere else that make this problems with torrens-download?Apple Discussions does not condone the use of torrent downloading, usually for pirated software. Therefore, you will not get any help on this forum.

I changed the password of my apple ids but now it says the new password is wrong... I tried to reset my password again but now i do not get any email with the reset link! I also tried to change my password with the answering my security questions but i do not remember the answers. It all started as i wanted to activate an old apple id but the activationlink was send to the apple id itself because i canceled the primary mailadress. Then i changed the primary mailadress and got an activation link but now i can not log in because of the problem described above. I am struggling for hours! i have just purchased elements 12. It will not convert a raw file for me. i have downloaded DNG convertor 8.5 but it says that my Canon 70d is not compatible. I never had a problem with my last camera canon 7d and elments 8. Can someone help me please
Did you buy PSE in the mac app store? If not, just go to Help>Updates in the editor and update camera raw and you should be able to open the raw files in PSE 12 directly without the DNG converter.

If you had already removed the device from 'Find My iPhone' in iCloud, then you jus tneed to powercycle the device in order to activate it.

If it has not been removed, then the activation lock is still active.
If the previous owner cannot remove the device from their account there is nothing you can do unless the place you purchased it from will give you a refund.

have a problem with my MacBook Pro.5,3 and monitor. Intermittently, the desk top screen becomes broken up into vertical sections, which appear in the wrong order, creating a haphazard picture.
The Apple icon, usually at top left corner, appears in top right corner in a strip including all that left hand. When the computer is restarted, the screen goes back to normal. But I have to move the mouse to the far left of the screen and then up until it reappears on the far right hand side of the screen so that I can hit shut down button.
It seems to happen randomly though always on desk top and sometimes when I move mouse and computer switches on from rest mode. My large flat screen is relatively new.
The video card on this computer, which is approximately two years old, is Nvidia FeForce 9400M.
Any help would be welcome as my usual source of assistance is not available and I am not well versed in workings of the Mac although I have used one for many years.That sounds like a Hardware problem.
You may be able to confirm that with Apple Hardware Test, or make an appointmenst for a free Genius Bar evaluation. -

Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine. -

The problem is; when I past copied text from some pdf books (not all of them) it past symbols only! wherever I past it! and even if I coped that text from another pdf reader (adobe pdf reader, internet browsers, ...etc.).
This problem started to happen since yesterday when I installed adobe acrobat reader XI pro to try it before I buy it, and before that when I was using the free adobe pdf reader I was totally able to copy any text from any pdf and past it anywhere with nothing wrong.
What can I do?
