Help! PRS-300 protected page issues

Please help!
I have the PRS-300 and download library books, usually in the .epub format. Recently I made the mistake of putting both .epub and .pdf on my ereader, and I got the protected page. Usually I bypass this by re-trasnferring an .epub book. However, this time it didn't work. I have deleted all the books on my ereader, redownloaded some from the library, etc. And even with no .pdf books in my librar, no .epub books work anymore! I don't know to fix this. I usually work in ADE for this, have found that sometimes the Sony Library sorts it out, but now am just super frustrated.

I don't know if it is ADE or Sony. I wonder if just using the Sony ELibrary rather than ADE would work? Or use a differnt device?

How can I authorizing a Sony PRS-300 Reader?

My ebook account (Sony) was recently transferred to Kobo Books. Some of the books I've purchased are Adobe DRM protected. This didn't used to be a problem before the transfer. I don't seem to be able to authorize my Sony reader. Is there any way this can be done?
The PRS-300 came with ADE. Adobe discontinued supporting this model of reader which effectively made it useless for ebooks protected by Adobe DRM. Other models of the Sony Reader continue to be supported. I find it hard to believe that this particular model was axed when the same, or a similar, fix could have been provided. Shame on Adobe!

First of all, you should have used the Adobe DNG Converter 8.6, not an old, obsolete version. Always use the very latest version. 8.3 was simply the first ACR version to support your camera model, that's all.
Note that the DNG Converter works only on folders, not on individual raw files. Put all your Sony raw files in a folder and run the Converter on that folder containing the raw files.
I have absolutely no clue as to what on Earth you mean by : "upon reading the memory chip from Photoshop CS5".
You also need to make sure that CS5 is fully updated. You cannot rely on the highly and notoriously unreliable Adobe auto updater to tell whether you have the latest update installed or not.
I still have no idea what platform you are on, Mac or Windows. Please read the following for next time:

Help needed in solve my issue in sapscript.

I have a requirement to prin the terms and condiions after my Po layout. for this i have created 4 pages for terms and condition. Each page i have included two windows. One is main window and another window is having the text to be printed.
in standard attributes i have assigned as

Here my issue is only the first page of the terms and conditions are printing in the output... Remaining text dint print..
Please help me to solve the issue....

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

Crash when editing a Password Protected page

I have an issue with a Mac user that is trying to edit a site
I created. Some folders on this site are password protected –
meaning that pages on the site require user names and passwords to
be entered for them to be viewed by web surfers. This user can log
on and edit parts of the site that are not password protected but
when he navigates to a folder that is, and chooses a page to edit,
his computer locks up. Normally, when one of my PC users chooses a
page to edit that requires a password, from within CT, they are
presented the security window and prompted to enter the info. Once
entered, CT allows assess to the page for editing as normal.
Anyone know why the Mac is locking up when this user tries to
edit a page with a password?
This user can “surf” the site with their version
of Safari or Firefox and view password protected pages – just
not from within CT
We are using CT CS4

The error occurs when they use the choose button. And, that
is currently the only way to get access to those pages since all of
the password protected pages do not have direct links. These page
links are sent out via email ( with un and pw info ) so clients can
get direct access.
I do not know if he has tried typing the url directly in the
address bar ( can that even be done ?)
The only thing else I've learned is that he is running OS
10.4.11.

Print Preview of particular page issue in SAP script

Hi all,
Kindly help me to resolve the following issue in SAPscript.
I have a particular business requirement to preview a particular page in 'n' pages of a SAPscript. After executing the sapscript calling program, the print window appears, in which i can choose particular page in the <b>Page Selection</b> Field.
The problem is that the preview shows some other page rather than the appropriate page. Please help me to resolve the issue.

You need to call NEW-PAGE command in the sapscript when the user select a page in page selection.
Try this:
create the following text element in the sapscript in any window, preferibly MAIN window
/E PBREAK
/: NEW-PAGE &user_selected_page&
In the Print program: OPEN_FORM returns a parameter called RESULT.
case result-tdpageslct.
when '2'.
user_selected_page = <second page name in the sapscript>
when '3'.
user_selected_page = <third page name in the sapscript>
when others.
clear user_selected_page.
endcase.
if not user_selected_page is initial.
call function WRITE_FORM and call above created text element
endif.
If the pages you are trying to display does not have main window, make sure next page in the page definition is not the same page in the sapscript.

You've tried the other things on those pages e.g. tried a different USB port on your computer and a different cable, tried the other pages that the first link

I need help with a 1 Page Form with scrollable text field (5000 limit characters) and printing

Hello, I have no training in using Adobe Acrobat Pro or Livecycle Designer so I need major help with a 1 page form that I am attempting to create. Basically the form will be used to nominate employees for a Job Well Done Award.
The form contains the following:
1.) The name(s) of the employees being nominated and the date of the accomplishment.
2.) In the middle of the page I have a section for a write up, limited to 5000 characters, this is were I am needing the most help. A couple of things, about this section: The font is set at 11 and I don't want it to change. The text field has multiple-line, scroll long text enabled. The text field is a certain size and can only hold so much text, then it starts to scroll, which I am ok with, I like that feature. The issue I am having is during printing. I would like to keep the text field scrollable but when I print I would like to be able to print everything in that field. Executing this is the problem, I have no clue how to do it. I was hoping for some setting within Acrobat Pro or LiveCycle to be available, but the more I read and research this, it appears that it may require java, xml, basically some coding. I don't know for sure.
3.) Below the text field I have another field for the person nominating to type their name and right next to that another field for a digital signature.
4.) And finally below those two fields I have a Submit button that is setup to start email application so the form can be emailed to the proper inbox.

With an Acrobat form the only thing you can do is export the text to
another location (like a blank field on another page) or to another file
format. With an LCD form you can expand the text box itself, but you'll
need to ask about that over at the LCD Scripting forum.

There are bugs with ADE2.0 that mean the combination ADE2.0/Sony reader/Overdrive library book does not work correctly.
This is one of the vast number of bugs in ADE2.0.
There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0. Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

To use ADE (either version) with a Sony device you need to install Sony Reader.
Download from https://ebookstore.sony.com/download/
Even if you don't use Sony Reader, it installs a device driver that enables ADE to interact with the Sony.
(Not sure why Sony makes this awkwardness that other devices don't have, it slightly marrs a really excellent lightweight ereader.)

In DEV & QA, we have been using the standard start pages for internal employees and the recruiter pages. The pages were displaying correctly without any problems.
In the production system, these pages are not the same as in DEV & QA, there's also german headings.
All transports are in PROD, and the tables looks exactly the same. I've generated the URLs, the services are activated.
Can you please assist me. What could be missing?

first of all you should ensure that all languages you installed in dev & qa are also in prod if you have added languages.
Check that you use the correct links including sap-language and BspLanguage. This also includes the links really routed through the whole web infrastructure. A web application firewall or other components can mess up the parameters so they do not really
get to the WebAS and the users are logged in in the wrong language.
Of course run the report or the function from sotr_edit which adapts the contexts of all OTRs.
If this asll does not help check compare the systems withb SCU0.

Protected pages not protected...

Hello,
I use Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 9.0 Update 1 Patch 1 and NetBeans 5.5.
I have tried to protect some pages like it is explained in the page http://testwww.netbeans.org/kb/articles/security-webapps.html but the protected pages are not protected at all: no form is displayed to ask me the name and the password of the user and the protected pages are displayed. I have certainly made a basic error but I cannot find it.
Please, can you help me?

If you're using Windows Vista, then SJAS simply ignores security constraints under the current version. There's an easy test. If you install the server and ask it not to remember your admin password, but request it from you each time, does the admin utility actually do so? If so...
Go get the latest Glassfish distribution and use it. Bit more of a pain, no windows service, but it works.

How do you fix redirecting page issue?

Every time I click any links like coolermaster.com links at Google search engine box, it redirects me to random website. So, how do you prevent this redirecting page issue? It pisses me off! Also, I have installed Redirect Remover add-on, and it doesn't help prevent redirecting me to some random websites; even though, I hate it and it just irritates me! Please, help resolve this issue.

I got caught by this bug toady while make a Facebook Page Tab. Many users of Facebook (including me) use it over https and the jQuery included by Muse prompts a insecure message in Chrome.
I suggest that the engineering team use the protocol agnostic version of the script tag and sets up a cdn on the worldsecuresystems.com domain. It will use either http och https depending on your connection.

Depends on web server.
But some things to look for are .htaccess if using *NIX.
Otherwise a database and your Dreamweaver help files will
