Usually an Elements license will work for either platform. Try downloading the Mac trial version and use the serial number to activate it (there is no difference between trial and full versions)

I am getting a bit concerned about what is happening in your situation. Yesterday you posted your question in at least two different forums, one of them being here in the Premiere Elements Forum.
Don't Have Serial Number for Premiere, Only Photoshop?
Wherever you posted, the reply was to contact Adobe via its Adobe Chat. It is the only one who can sort out this matter for you.
In the thread cited above I offered to help you with the difficulties that you were having visualizing the Adobe Chat in its web page. I was waiting for your follow up on that in the above thread. Instead, I find your same question in a new Adobe Premiere Elements Forum thread this afternoon with no refer the prior threads or prior recommendations given you.
I will also mention again...when you buy the Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements bundled in one packaging and with installation files for each on the same installation disc, each program has its own serial number. The Photoshop Elements serial number does not work for Premiere Elements and vice versa. The serial numbers are on labels on a box which houses the installation disc envelope(s). So, if you purchased both programs and found the Photoshop Elements serial number, then the Premiere Elements serial number should be in a label right underneath the label with the serial number for Photoshop Elements. I recall writing this in your yesterday's thread on this matter.

What is the size of your hard disk? PSE 4 is a very old program and I suspect it is not able to access the entire hard disk on your machine. Just a thought here.

If the code you are trying to enter has letters then you are not looking at a serial number. A serial number only contains numbers - 6 sets of 4 numbers.
Find your serial number quickly
You might be dealing with a redemption code. This is especially so if you purchased it from a store or the like.

Yes, it works. Download the trial and see for yourself. Adobe never updates the system requirements after any version is released, so that is what was available last Sept. when PSE 13 was released.

do you have a white box inside the outer box and containing the disc sleeve/disc? In my case, it was on the white box. For Photoshop elements it is all numeric and starts with 1057.

Just purchased Adobe photoshop elements 12 & Adobe premiere elements 12 combo. Installed it, but programs would not open. Uninstalled and tried again; this time programs would not install completely. Have tried this several times - no success. (Security was turned off during installation). Help please

same problem here. Cant install EL 12. Prem 12 is oke. Even the database is changed to 12 by Pr 12 from El 8.
No operating probl. Windows 7.
A File is missing cant start El. Premiere works and even media from the catal. is to get.
Any Idee? Several times downloaded. Deleted earlyer downloads. Run update from prem elem. Nothing helps.

The error reads: Error reading initialization file!

copy the dvd's files to a desktop directory and click (or double click) setup.
if that fails, download the installation file.

Install purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 without DVD Drive

I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 but I am unable to load it onto my Ultrabook as it does not have a DVD drive.
Is there a way in which I could download Photoshope Elements from the Adobe Elements website using the serial number from my purchase?

On 12/17/13 I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 and installed it on my computer. On 12/19/13, the motherboard croaked and I now have a new computer. My Photoshop Elements 12 won't download and open for me??? Please help or tell where I can get tech support for this issue.
