I really need help with this. This has been happening for 2 weeks. It worked for 2 days then went to the same error , and I couldn't get the time to attempt to fix it.

I have not tried uninstalling and cleaning and then reinstalling. i have attempted to uninstall but it came up with an error that had to make me clean or remove it with a certain tool/program. i have installed and run the program but has never worked. so i go to my computer , and go to program files x86 then i go to adobe / adobe after effects cs5 and delete the folder. then go back to the control panel and uninstall and it then uninstalls right. i don't know if my other plugins such as video co - pilot but i do not know if that has crashed the program such as forever. i am not at my regular house at the moment. when i get back i will attempt the process hoping it will work.

Try deleting the iPod Photos Cache folder. There may be more than one. For its location see:
iTunes: Photo sync creates iPod Photo Cache folder
Also, go to the Photos pane for the iPod in iTunes and make sure syncing photos is unchecked.

Hi, I just changed my password for my ipad 4 and my keypad has been messed up for a while. As I was typing in my new passcode it double cliked a number and i dont one which one it clicked twice for as i was typing it in the second time the same thing happened again and was accepted! i locked my ipad and when i can back to it i typed in my passcode and would go in i kept trying and ran out of attempts. It is down to 2 more attempts and then it will be drained. Help really needed in rotating a bufferedImage

Its so silly, but i've been trying to get this for more than a week now and i cant get it to work.
I have a gravity simulator and i want to rotate an image of a small ship. Just to mention it.. i have one thread that does the physics. I want to do two things: move and rotate (i always get the move method working, but not the rotate one)
I have a class Nave (ship in spanish) and Graficador (the jpanel that paints everything). I want to say that ive tried really ALOT of things (yes, ive read google, the forums... i just like to ask for help when i really need it).
So: here's what i've tried:
-Ive tried to have a general affineTransform in Nave, then, when i call for example rotate, i just modify the AffineTransform and then use it to paint in the Jpanel. Something like this:

Ive tried to "store" the affineTransform before any change, and then reapply it after drawing the image, but doesnt seem to work either.
Also, with this approach, ive tried to create a "buffer" in Nave, then paint the image in the buffer with the affineTransform, and finally paint this buffer in the jpanel, but it gets messed up anyway.
Ive tried many approaches, but i think i will just mention this one, and see if with your help i get this one to work... i just need to make the coordinates "right" after drawing the image in the jpanel so the gravity works well...

It wasn't clear how you were trying to use AffineTransform other than rotation in a
gravitational field. To avoid altering the coordinate system orientation try making a
transform for each rendering of an image by moving the image to the location where you
want to show it and then rotatng the image about the specific point in/on the image that
will give the desired final location/orientation. This sounds vague because there are
multiple ways to see/do this. Here's an example of one way:

A bit more question for dear people:
In the notes, it's mainly focus on JAXB,
1. Is that mean JAXB is most popular parser for
parsing XML into Java object? With me, definitely. There are essentially 3 technologies that allow you to parse XML documents:
1) "Callbacks" (e.g. SAX in JAXP): You write a class that overrides 3 methods that will be called i) whenever the parser encounters a start tag, ii) an end tag, or iii) PCDATA. Drawback: You have to figure out where the heck in the document hierarchy you are when such a callback happens, because the same method is called on EACH start tag and similarly for the end tag and the PCDATA. You have to create the objects and put them into your own data structure - it's very tedious, but you have complete control. (Well, more or less.)
2) "Tree" (e.g. DOM in JAXP, or it's better cousin JDOM): You call a parser that in one swoop creates an entire hierarchy that corresponds to the XML document. You don't get called on each tag as with SAX, you just get the root of the resulting tree. Drawback: All the nodes in the tree have the same type! You probably want to know which tags are in the document, don't you? Well, you'll have to traverse the tree and ask each node: What tag do you represent? And what are your attributes? (You get only strings in response even though your attributes often represent numbers.) Unless you want to display the tree - that's a nice application, you can do it as a tree model for JTree -, or otherwise don't care about the individual tags, DOM is not of much help, because you have to keep track where in the tree you are while you traverse it.
3) Enter JAXB (or Castor, or ...): You give it a grammar of the XML documents you want to parse, or "unmarshall" as the fashion dictates to call it. (Actually the name isn't that bad, because "parsing" focuses on the input text while "unmarshalling" focuses on the objects you get, even though I'd reason that it should be marshalling that converts into objects and unmarshalling that converts objects to something else, and not vice versa but that's just my opinion.) The JAXB compiler creates a bunch of source files each with one (or now more) class(es) (and now interfaces) that correspond to the elements/tags of your grammar. (Now "compiler" is a true jevel of a misnomer, try to explain to students that after they run the "compiler", they still need to compile the sources the "compiler" generated with the real Java compiler!). Ok, you've got these sources compiled. Now you call one single method, unmarshall() and as a result you get the root node of the hierarchy that corresponds to the XML document. Sounds like DOM, but it's much better - the objects in the resulting tree don't have all the same type, but their type depends on the tag they represent. E.g if there is the tag <ball-game> then there will be an object of type myPackage.BallGame in your data structure. It gets better, if there is <score> inside <ball-game> and you have an object ballGame (of type BallGame) that you can simply call ballGame.getScore() and you get an object of type myPackage.Score. In other words, the child tags become properties of the parent object. Even better, the attributes become properties, too, so as far as your program is concerned there is no difference whether the property value was originally a tag or an attribute. On top of that, you can tell in your schema that the property has an int value - or another primitive type (that's like that in 1.0, in the early release you'll have to do it in the additional xjs file). So this is a very natural way to explore the data structure of the XML document. Of course there are drawbacks, but they are minor: daunting complexity and, as a consequence, very steep learning curve, documentation that leaves much to reader's phantasy - read trial and error - (the user's guide is too simplicistic and the examples too primitive, e.g. they don't even tell you how to make a schema where a tag has only attributes) and reference manual that has ~200 pages full of technicalities and you have to look with magnifying glas for the really usefull stuff, huge number of generated classes, some of which you may not need at all (and in 1.0 the number has doubled because each class has an accompanying interface), etc., etc. But overall, all that pales compared to the drastically improved efficiency of the programmer's efforts, i.e. your time. The time you'll spend learning the intricacies is well spent, you'll learn it once and then it will shorten your programming time all the time you use it. It's like C and Java, Java is order of magnitude more complex, but you'd probably never be sorry you gave up C.
Of course the above essay leaves out lots and lots of detail, but I think that it touches the most important points.
A word about JAXB 1.0 vs. Early Release (EA) version. If you have time, definitively learn 1.0, they are quite different and the main advantage is that the schema combines all the info that you had to formulate in the DTD and in the xjs file when using the EA version. I suggested EA was because you had a DTD already, but in retrospect, you better start from scratch with 1.0. The concepts in 1.0 are here to stay and once your surmounted the learning curve, you'll be glad that you don't have to switch concepts.
When parser job is done,
what kind of Java Object we will get? (String,
InputStream or ...)See above, typically it's an object whose type is defined as a class (and interface in 1.0) within the sources that JABX generates. Or it can be a String or one of the primitive types - you tell the "compiler" in the schema (xjs file in EA) what you want!

I am very new to XML, is there any simpler way to get
around them? It has already take me 4 days to find a
simple parser which give it XML and DTD, then return
to me Java objects ... I mean if that kind of parser
exists....It'll take you probably magnitude longer that that to get really familiar with JAXB, but believe me it's worth it. You'll save countless days if not weeks once you'll start developing serious software with it. How long did it take you to learn Java and it's main APIs? You'll either invest the time learning how to use the software others have written, or you invest it writing it yourself. I'll take the former any time. But it's only my opinion...

Please help really urgent

I have a small JFrame on top of another JFrame which covers the
entire comp screen. In the smaller JFrame I have a JMenuBar;
once u click on the JMenu I would like for the menu to open and
diplay itself completely without having to resize the frame.
Something which im unable to do now the menu ends at the boundaries of the JFrame and the user would have to resize the screen. Can someone help please im really stuck

A wild guess: Are you mixing Swing and AWT? I experienced exactly what you describe when I had a JFrame containing AWT components.

Need help, really mad!!!

So my Incredible decided to shut itself down today and when I turned it back on, all my contacts and apps were gone!! It was basically back to factory reset! When I go onto the market to try and see if I can retrieve some of my apps, or anything really, I get an error and it needs to be force closed!! What the hell happened and can anyone help me???

Ok here is what I am doing. I have some audio files that we recorded onto an ipod via an imic. I have the files on a flash drive, and I drug them over to garage band. The into music file we made worked just fine, but the audio lecture is really really really fast, like the chimpmunks, and so fast you can't make it out. If I just double click the file and open it in quick time it sounds just normal. I really really really need to get this going, can someone please help me. That won't help, he said he recorded onto his iPod which means it was probably recorded at 11K or 22K. The link I posted will solve his problem.

HELP - REALLY URGENT : iCal sending loop mails for an alarm, and more

My iCal is not working since 2 months now. Even I post here something, I had no replies. iCal is REALLY slow since 2 months, needing 20 seconds to pass a field (as to go from 20 to 00 field in a 20:00 meeting).
I reinstalled totally my Mac OS for that and it did not change anything. It's linked to SyncServer.
Worst, now I have an alarm that was set last year, to send an email. Everytime I start my laptop, iCal loop this alarm and sent 500 mails, I have to force to quit SyncServer. And if I go to iCal to remove the alarm, iCal crash !
I can't loose all my datas... please do help me !

I made that, but as my OS X reinstallation, did not solve anything
and even .mac sync does not work anymore now pff i'm getting tired of Apple in this kind of situation, nobody cares

Hi i bought the WRT54G version 8 at xmas time. And ever since ive been struggleing with this DANM router. I have two home PC's both of which are hardwired (landlined) into the back of the router. I also play PS3 and Xbox 360 wirelessly. Now my problem here is that ive called for help like 3x now and they have given me advice and it seemed to have worked... but then it doesnt. My ps3 wireless connection is running terrible... im in the 1red(LAGGING) when im usually at full green. My internet connection is Aliant / DSL and i know it is the routers problem because my internet provider has already clarified to me that everything is running fine and i should not be having problems. I have upgraded the firmware version to the latest one... I have changed the MTU setting to manual at size 1429. I have gone into wireless / advanced setting and changed my beacon interval from 100 to 50. All of these changes were recommended by the Technician at Linksys.
Now the internet seems to be working better / a little faster but my PS3 wireless did not change one bit. Also i play a game on my PC called Starcraft. Ive never ever had problems with my connectivity to this game and ive played this game on and off for 10 years. These problems are really really annoying me and i dont know what to do. Im really frustrated and wish someone could help me because the technicians at linksys havent done **bleep** for me (excuse my language im just frustrated).

the rtr have a NAT..it protects everything in the network but unfortunately sometimes it blocks some packets to make the ps3 work freely...i haven't read that you have done any port opening...pls verify!
now another problem is that a DSL connection uses NAT capable modem...its multiple NAT on your network...Its a big problem..

Hi Vivian,
BI has more standard reports than R/3. However looking at your requirements, I dont think any of the standard BI report will help your clients. You have to create a custom ABAP report or a new Bex Report.

Multiple kernel panics- help really needed-log included

Please bare with me, want to give as many detaisl as possible:
So in general the computer is running along fine, there are a few odd quirks including the inability to open azureus bit torrent files by double-clicking them though I used to be able to, and occasional airport outages which are becoming of recent a bit more frequent. But I could live with that, maybe azureus is acting screwy and maybe my ibook is just located in an odd place and getting spotty reception.
Yesterday when I unplugged my computer from teh wall, it froze after 3 minutes, no "please restart your computer" just a complete freeze. I shut down and restarted only to have it kernel panic immediatly. Restarted it and bam another kernel panic. This time I just shut it down, and let it rest. Turned it back on only to have nothign happen except the fans starting blasting at full power. Another hard reset. Got to the finder, greeted by message about the date being incorrect and potential problems this coudl cause. I worked for five minutes and then another kernel panic. I let the computer "rest" over night, and began using it in the morning with airport off, and it worked fine, i then turned on airport and it has since been working fien except for the occasional airport outtages from before.
Incidentally the computer has frozen before, always after I have unplugged the ibook from the wall. I have heard the multiple kernel panics like the one I experienced likely result from hardware issues, just wanted to see if there are any software fixes I can make before I send it in.
I'm including my kernel panic log in the hopes that someone can decipher it and explain what the issue may be. I'm starting to think there mayb be an issue with the airport card, but I really do not know. Ram has been upgraded but I am confident that the ram is not at all faulty.
