Help regarding C_TB1300_90 certification

Hello -
I am new to SCN forum. I have been developing an Add-on on SAP Business One using SDK for the last 4 months. I want to appear for the C_TB1300_90 certification. I am in Calgary, Canada and no one is providing any training on TB1300 or any Business One sources here. SAP press does not have any book on Business One.
I want to know how should I go about preparing for the C_TB1300_90 certification. Any suggestion from any member who has completed this certification is welcome.

thanks for your response. I tried to login through my S User Id and Password but could not login. I can use the same login for support.sap.com but it is not working for SAP Service Marketplace/PartnerEdge. Do you know if we need different S User ID for Service Marketplace or there are different levels of S User ID?

Certification will be an added advantage in finding and getting a job but not sure about 100%. In interviews it gives you an extra preference, if you meet their standards and requirements then the job is for you. one has to start from bottom and prove himself in real time even he has a gold medal in degree to get a higher level job. so Real time experience is most important and certification with real time experience will helps a lot.

I am trying for certif for Development Consultant SAP NetWeaver u201904 - Exchange Infrastructure & Integration Technology - C_TBIT44_04 .

I am planning on taking my SAP Certified Technology Associate (C_TADM51_70) I have taken all courses except one which I plan to do by the end of the year. I was wondering if there are any good books out there that will help with the certification and Basis Administration?

The SAP Was 700 certification is just same as was640 only the netweaver Java related question are most important. as per the syllabus you can complete it with tadm10, tadm12 and tadm51.

Hi. You have to be member of discussion forums like
[email protected] for better understanding, not necessarily. You have to make as much practice as you can. For ist paper, i will suggest you to study at least 20 days(5-6 hrs) a day. Dont concentrate on reading only. You should have to PRACTICE Queries and things like that. I am not quite sure about ur second paper as i belong to DBA track. Download the documentation of oracle for better understanding . it is the most effective source for your exams.

I need some help regarding the processing of an IMAP attachment , It is a basic IOStream related question I guess.
I have some attachment to a mail , I try to fetch it using javamail and read the content and write it to a file , I was able to do it successfully when I was using stream.read( tempBuffer) function but when I started using stream.read( tempBuffer, 0, m_maxDataSize ); it is giving me following exception

There should be a number of BRF+ tutorials available in SCN which discuss the FDT APIs. You can have a look at them to get an idea of the various APIs available and their uses.
For your usecase, you should do the following.
        lo_fdt_function         TYPE REF TO if_fdt_function,
        lo_fdt_result           TYPE REF TO if_fdt_result,
* Get function handle
      CALL METHOD lo_fdt_factory->get_function
        EXPORTING
          iv_id       = lv_function_id
        RECEIVING
          ro_function = lo_fdt_function.
where lv_function_id is the GUID of the BRF+ function . You can either make it a constant , or you can use a FDT API to get the function GUID from the BRF+ application name and function name.
*   Set function context
    TRY.
        CALL METHOD lo_fdt_context->set_value
          EXPORTING
            iv_id    =
            ia_value =
This is one way to set the input context ( pass the input to the BRF+ function to process ). There are other ways to do this as well. Which one you use would depend on the kind of input you want to pass.

Another direct way of doing it would be to use the method PROCESS of the class CL_FDT_FUNCTION_PROCESS.
I have not gone into much explaination here , but it should provide you an idea of how you can go about it.Read the SCN docs on the APIs to get a better idea , or better still if you can get hold of a copy of the BRF+ book by Carsten Ziegler , you will get an end to end explaination of all BRF+ APIs in it.

Need HELP regarding installinfg CR2008/Visual Advantage

I need help regarding installing CR2008/Visual Advantage. I had the evaluation copy of cr2008. My compnay purchased the CR2008 Visual Advantage. Upon calling your customer service, I was told that I had to UN-install the CR2008 evaluation copy then install the CR2008. I did the unstall HOWEVER, when I try to install the CR2008 that we purchased, i get the following error..HR
HR -2147024770-"c:\program files\business objects enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\REPORTCONVTOOL.DLL FAILED TO REGISTER"..
I get more that just that one...I have received this before and based upon this formum, i have delted the regristry in the following using regedit.exe
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BUSINESS OBJECT ;
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\BUSINESS OBJECTS..
Afeter i deleted the keys, I re-boot my pc and try to install the coftware again...BUT I GET THE SAME ERRORS...I have tryied this several times....what am i missing/not doing correctly

Actually you were on the right track, i think you just have to increase PSAPTEMP a bit and you will be fine. 358 MB seems just too small, i suggest you increase it to at least 2GB.

PSAPTEMP: is needed for large sort operations, as mentioned when you have a select with an ORDER BY clause, or if you do join two tables. During the client copy some sorting might be needed for special tables (cluster tables) where data is stored sorted.
PSAPUNDO: undo space is only needed for DML (data manipulation), if data is changed undo is generated. This obviously is heavily the case during a client copy.
2. the target client already has a copy taken 1 month before. so I think while importing it first delete existing data and then copies the new one.
So If I first delete the target client and then take import on it; will it have advantage in regards of getiing UNDO or TEMP segments getting filled ?
Deleting the client first might help for the undo problem, but you already solved that. I cannot imagine, it will help for the PSAPTEMP issue. As i said i would just increase PSAPTEMP and restart the copy.
One more add: if you are doing the client copy with parallel processes, this will influence your requirements on temp and undo space, because of the concurrently running processes.

Need help regarding converting text to Lines and Arcs.

In my program i have text.Lets say the text is JAVA.
Now i need to group that text(JAVA) in the form of line and arcs.
Its like organizing lines and arcs and make it looks like a text(JAVA).
Can we have such a possibilities to do that?
Please help regarding this!!
