Please help regarding SAP course

Hi everyone!
I am an MBA( HR) and a fresher. I would like to be SAP techno functional professional. For that with which course i should begin with ABAP HR or SAP HR functional modules.
I am confused. Please help me to know the answers to the following queries-:
 1.What are the future prospects of SAP HR? 
 2.Are any other sap courses with a better demand than SAP hr modules
(like netweaver , knowledge management or business intelligence warehousing)?

 3.Can i go for training with local institutes as seimens does not fits in my budget? what difference will it make?

Hi Karan,
Techno Functional means it includes both Technical and Functional Knowledge.
For knowing Technical things, you need to go for ABAP HR training and for knowing Functional areas you need to go for SAP HR. I think for your profile SAP HR which means Functional side would be good. But for Technical, one need to have the basic programming knowledge of any tool/technology.Then only it will be easy, otherwise it will be difficult. But nothing is impossible.
Answers to your questions;
1.SAP HR is good in the market now and it will be good in future too.Also, competition is less when comapared with other modules.Very less people are taking this module.
2.Apart from SAP HR, the very hot hot module I can say is SAP FI/CO.It is king in SAP. Next comes Netweaver and SRM.
3.You cannot compare Siemens and local institutes. If you go for Siemens you will write the exam, pass and get the certification. Using this certification you can find a job easily.Normally, companies recognize only if you have some good years of experience or as a certified fresher.Because you do not have exp, this ceritfication helps you finding a job.But whereas if you go to local institutes you cannot get the certification and it makes very difficult for you to get a job.You have to put some fake experience and try. But this is not easy and not recommended.That too there is no gap as you are a fresher, so you cannot claim any exp. Without exp and without certification, no body will recognize you.
Think in all terms and then make a good decision. Good Luck for your future efforts.

The print program is used to print forms. The program retieves the necesary data from datbase
tables, defines the order of in which text elements are printed, chooses a form for printing and
selects an output device and print options.
Function modules in a printprogram:
When you print a form you must used the staments OPEN_FORM and CLOSE_FORM. To combine
forms into a single spool request use START_FORM and END_FORM.
To print textelements in a form use WRITE_FORM. The order in which the textelements are printed,
is determined by the order of the WRITE_FORM statements. Note: for printing lines in the body, you
can also use the WRITE_FORM_LINES function module.
To transfer control command to a form use CONTROL_FORM.
Structure of a print program
Read data
Tables: xxx.

Open form printing - Must be called before working with any of the other form function modules.
Must be ended with function module CLOSE FORM

Query regarding SAP ABAP ALV List display

Have a requirement where in, when a user double clicks on a particular field as shown below, the particular cell where he has clicked has to be changed to editable and input mode. I am using ALV LIST DISPLAY.

Since you are more interested towards HR than ABAP, in long term you can think of moving into SAP HCM functional career. And to be able to work as a functional consultant, you need to have good amount of business process knowledge. Considering this you can start working in core HR and gain domain experience and move your career later towards functional area.
And more over you have ABAP HR experience,this will be very handy when you are a functional consultant.

SAP/ABAP Programming Job Market

This may be the wrong forum but I didn't see a more appropriate venue.
I took an SAP training class recently and someone asked the instructor after the class what the ABAP job market was like. His response was something like, "I hope you don't mind working for food." Not very encouraging. I don't know if the guy was just being a jerk or if he was being honest.
Any thoughts?

To be Honest ,if you have regular ABAP Exp then billing rate will be low than as you expected .
What ever Rich said is the correct, if you have multiple experience like ABAP with BW or ABAP with some functional experience or
ABAP with CRM,then you get good billing rate.
When you look at Permanenet job then it will be difficult to get job at Client place if you have only ABAP/4 Experience.
Try to look at other modules like BW (Core Knowledge ) ,SD.. it would be better .
