Help regarding sms locker app in iphone 3gs

Pls help urgently. I have downloaded sms locker rrom the apple store but i am totally confused how it works. I am not able to fetch messages from my iphone messagesand. How can i save messages and store desired sms in this app? Its very confusing please help. I thing its a wastage of money and the app is not user friendly. There is no option to hide or save message. What shall i do? The only option i got is to create folder and send sms. I can i save incoming sms which are there in the original sms folder of iphone. or set up restrictions for different apps in Settings/General/Restrictions. Restricted apps will not be visible on the phone. But if you forget the restriction code, you'll have to set up your phone as new device.

Also, you cannot delete any of the pre-installed apps, only third-party apps.

Remote app on iPhone 3GS doesn't work on Win8

I have an iPhone 3GS, not jailbroken, iOS is up-to-date (6.1.3) and it's factory unlocked.
I have a Laptop with Windows 7 and the latest iTunes installed
I have a Windows 8 PC with the latest iTunes installed
I can connect the Remote app on my iPhone with my Windows 7 Laptop (works as it should)
I cannot connect the Remote app on my iPhone with my Windows 8 PC (says "cannot find ." all the time)

Transferring apps from Iphone 3Gs to PC so i can upgrade

I have tried everything i can find to transfer my apps from my iphone 3GS to itunes on my PC so i can upgrade the phone but nothing works..Right click on phone on left side of screen, click transfer purchases and it only transfers 1 app which was a free app....I have synced the phone/ back up a couple times in the past couple weeks but it takes 4-6 hours to complete and still only shows 1 app in my itunes library...I dont have that much on the phone..150 apps....50-60 pictures and address book...does it always take this long ? Help.....Jay

Just FYI, when I did this, I had to manually select all the Apps to reinstall after restoring the iPhone4 with my iPhone 3GS backup. Most of the data for those apps transferred over with possibly one exception - a game (Nanosaur 2) in which my save games all disappeared.
I guess what I'm curious to know is, when you restore from a backup, shouldn't the Apps automatically restore and be in their previous positions? I had to go back and manually rearrange all my Apps which took quite a bit of time.

Syncing Apps from iPhone 3GS to 4S

Hey folks,
I recently upgraded from iPhone 3GS to iPhone 4S. I synced up my 3GS to iTunes and then connected my new phone. When I synced them I chose the restore from existing option. This worked great and I have all of my messages, email account settings, Photos etc etc. However, None of my Apps have been transferred to the new device. How do I get all of my Apps from the 3GS to the 4S??

Trouble Syncing Apps from iPhone 3GS to iTunes 10.2.1.

I have yet to update my iPhone 3GS to the newest OS because of an on-going issue I have been having with syncing my purchased apps on iTunes 10.2.1. Despite having authorized my computer and re-installing both iTunes and Quicktime, every time I try to sync my apps, I receive an error message that says that it was unable to sync my purchased apps because my computer has not been authorized. Since I did authorize my computer, this is obviously not true. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions for how to fix it? Thanks!

Router reboots every time i use the txt app in iphone 3gs

I have a netgear cgd24g router and it reboots only every time i use the text free app in my iphone 3gs. First i felt weird and stated to google this problem. I found people having somwhat same kind of problem with other brands and had suggested few solutions, like resetting it, changing it to a ascii security code with a $, upadating the firmware of the router etc. I have done everything but i still have the same problem. I have 2 laptops and a desktop (no wireless in desktop) nothing is wrong when all three are working together. I even tried adding two more laptops and nothing is wrong. But as soon as i open the text free app and start texting the router reboots like in resetting it. The problem is only with the txt free app. Nothing happen when i browse thru safari or use youtube etc. But wen i use the txt free app the light goes off and comes back on one by one. I even went to the extent of asking my friend to download the app in his iphone and tried it using my wifi , the same thing happened. i even switched out the old netgear router with a new one and the same thing is happening. I am tried of this. CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE ?????

yes i have tried everything from changin the security type to checking the firmware version. The firware version was the latest so i didnt have to update it. About changing the router, i did switch the old netgear cgd24g to a brand new netgear cgd24g. The brand was same because that is what my service provider would give me. I like the sugestion about trying it with a different router and see if the problem persists. If the problem is gone then i will get another one. This will help me figure out where the problem is.

Need help using iErase to zero out iphone 3GS

I'm about to buy an iphone5 and need to wipe my iphone 3GS. After backing it up on itunes, I restored the old iphone to erase everything. I had planned to then install iErase to zero out the free space. Here's my problem. After I restored my phone I couuldn't figure out how to put iErase back on it. While in itunes, I selected the iErase app to install and hit sync. Itunes proceeded to sync everything back onto my iphone (apps, contacts, etc.). I must have missed a step.
I tried to restore again. After this eraseed everything, I connected it to my Mac and itunes started to automatically back up my now "restored" iphone despite the fact that I have automatic back ups deselected. It eliminated my previous backup that had all my stuff. Fortunately I was ables to select an older backup to restore and was able to retrieve my data.
This has been a major pain. I need to do all of this before I trade my phone in at AT&T when I go to buy my iphone5. Can anyone help?

Because that doesn't really erase the content. It just designates it as free space. Anyone who knows what they're doing can still find and retrieve all the "erased" data unless it's been zeroed out. IErase replaces everything in the free space with zeros, thus makng it impossible for anyone to find and retrieve the data.

Help Building my first app for iphone??

I have started building an app for iphone using Adobe Flash CS5.
Please help me answer to my stupid( ) questions.
1) Everytime I try exporting an ipa, even a blank file with just a static text field result in a 3mb ipa. Is it normal or can we optimize it further for iphone.
2) Any good tester/website/programs to test your ipa in different versions of iphone(3g,3gs, ipod 2g,ipad)etc.
3) My app is made on 1 frame and all the code is written inside the same fla (no separate as file). I hope that doesn't effect app performance or selection criteria?
4) few points on do's/don't when submitting apps to appStore for apps build in flash. Or any idea of any flash apps dissapproved because of any certain reasons.
That will be all, will really help understand iphone development better.,

2. I didn't understand what are you trying to ask here.
3. Using OOP is always better but coding in the .fla first frame should be fine.

Remote App on iPhone 3GS unable to access iTunes library

Hi - I'm using an iPhone 3Gs with the latest version of iTunes 8.2(23). The remote app no longer works (it used to on an older iPhone and an older iTunes).
I've read KB article at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1741 and the iPhone and the MacBook have the same router address.
I've re-installed the Remote App and checked the firewall settings on the MBP but still I am unable to connect. I've told iTunes to forget all remotes. I then 'paired' the iPhone with iTunes using the passcode and that worked fine ... until Remote tried to connect to the iTunes library.
Any advice/suggestions would be most welcome.

Actually, they should all be able to be used. If they're not ipad optimized or universal, then they'll look small on the ipad screen, and you'll have the option to x2 the resolution so it fills the screen. The apps look a little blurry/blocky when you blow up the iphone app screen like that, but they certainly do work.
I had a couple apps that didn't want to load onto the iPad2 when I first got it, because they used camera/gyroscope functionality that hadn't been in the iPad before, but in the course of the last week everything's updated and works okay.

You can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes account, there is no limit. You can have the same content on each device or different content, the choice is yours. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, upon subsequent syncs, including separate backups. When you get your new phone, you can either restore it from the backup of your 3GS or set it up as new, the choice is yours. Afterwards, just plug it in an sync.
