HELP! Reinstall adobe suite cs5.5 keeps saying "close SafariNotificati"

I recently hd to wipe my entire drive and restore and reinstall everything. How fun...not!
Reinstalling adobe creative suite 5.5 now, it keeps saying
"please close SafariNotificati" (spelt exactly as is) I have quit all programs including safari, tried force quitting safari, and this is STILL happening!!!
i Am a photo student and need my suite!! Someone please help!!!

Go to Applications > Utilities and launch Activity Monitor.
This will show a list of all processes and applications running:
Select SafariNotificationAgent in the list. Then click the little X icon at the upper left to kill that process.

I need to install the Adobe Suite CS5 a 3rd time, can I?

I already installed my Adobe Suite CS5 twice, once on my laptop and once on my desktop. I want to purchase a new laptop, but it just hit me that I had already downloaded the Adobe Suite CS5 software twice, so it propably won't let me download it again, right? Is there a way to be able to download it again on my new laptop? Or are we limited to 2 downloads? I can't afford to buy a new laptop, AND a new Adobe Suite...

Downloading and isntalling are unlimited, but you can only activate it on 2 computers at any given time.

Error reinstalling Adobe Illustrator CS5.

Hi. I have Adobe CS5 and lately Illustrator has been verrrrry slow opening and saving files and says Not Responding. I have the installation CD and the serial number, so I decided to uninstall Illustrator and then reinstall it. But every time I try to reinstall i keep getting an installation error, which is copied below. Please help! I really need to access my Illustrator files. Thank you.

Adobe Suite CS5 - "Cannot save files" - files are Read Only files

I had a power failure and now have a back up battery installed so I'm set for future outage. But it corrupted my Creative Suite program. I keep getting this error "Cannot save "untitled-1" under a new name. The file "DBT mp542438996529" is damaged (Error code: 0). or "Cannot save "Untitled" under new name.
1. I right click on icon of Photoshop/ Indesign CS5 file and open "Get Info" I can not reset the You can only read under "Sharing & Permission". The Name/Privilege list have Read & Write but I can not open/click on them.
2. Same issues with Photoshop CS5
I have iMac computer
3. If I re-install do I need to "deactivate my Serial number on Adobe Suite?
4. Not a good day for me

How to uninstall and reinstall Adobe InDesign CS5?

My Adobe InDesign CS5 stopped opening properly. Upon startup all the menu items were grayed out and unaccessible. Adobe Chat support advised me to uninstall and reinstall CS5.
My other Adobe programs are working fine. (CS5 photoshop, illustrator, acrobat, etc.)
MacBook Pro OS10.9.3
Anyone know how to uninstall and reinstall CS5?
Unfortunately Adobe chat service no longer supports this function on this older software.

before you go to the trouble of uninstalling/reinstalling--try this (it's called resetting the preferences)

There is a quick and easy method for doing this using the keyboard: close and relaunch InDesign, and IMMEDIATELY hold down Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or Cmd + Ctrl + Opt + Shift (Mac), and respond in the affirmative to the dialog asking if you really want to replace the preferences. There are two downsides to this method, however. First, you must be extremely fast on the keyboard (if you don’t see the confirmation prompt, you were too slow), and second, anytime you replace the preferences you will lose most program customizations, and using the keyboard method leaves you with no backup to restore them when the problem turns out to be something else.
My preferred method is to CLOSE INDESIGN and do a “manual” prefs replacement, which consists of finding and renaming the two files which make up the preference set: InDesign Defaults and InDesign SavedData. BOTH of these files should be replaced at the same time. You can delete them, but renaming or moving them will give you the opportunity to copy them back in the event that new prefs doesn’t cure your issue. When you restart ID, the program will look for these two files, and when they are not found, a new default set will be written.

You might want to give some specifics. Other then my computer crashes with Adobe....Not to be a S.A but there are a lot of different Adobe programs and computers. You mention FF so Windows would be my guess, or you could be running Linux. Do you see the variables here? What kind of computer? Not a Desktop or Laptop or Dell or HP. Specs like GPU, CPU, Memory. Program running, what you were doing, etc. The more detailed you are the more a user can hop in and try and help you.

Got a new computer and have to reinstall my InDesign CS5. Got on website and clicked on File 1, unzipped file and then clicked on File 2 and got this error message: "File archive missing. Need all parts in same folder in order to extract InDesign CS5. Download all parts." What should I do?

I was on that website and I downloaded File 1 of 2 and that is fine. When I try to download File 2 of 2 it gives me an error message that says: “The file archive part of InDesign CS5 is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract InDesign CS5. Please download all parts. “ Now I get this message after I have downloaded File 2 and when I click on it to Run it.
Any suggestions?
