Help requested for Essbase error

Hi,
I logged in Essbase by using my Login ID and password successfully but as soon as I clicked on application server I got error which is given below at same time my other friends are both able to connect and work with applications.
Error is :- Error: 1051293: Login fails due to invalid login credentials
Please guide me that how can i solve this error....

"ON VALUE REQUEST FOR" Activation Error!

Hi All,
Am using a field on my Selection Screen:
SELECT-OPTIONS s_kh_ch FOR p9240-subty NO INTERVALS.
When, am calling an event, to populate the search help for this field:
AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR s_kh_ch-low.
PERFORM f_call_f4_help TABLES git_subty_9240 USING 'SUBTY' 'P9240-SUBTY'.
It is giving an activation error!
"ON VALUE REQUEST FOR" should be followed by <parameter> or <select-option>-LOW/<select-option>-HIGH.
BUT, For your Information, the same On Value Request For event works well, when i define the field as PARAMETER!
Why is this error being thrown ? Anyone faced this kind of activation error?

Request for howto - error processing best practise

Hi JDev Team. Something I would like to see in a future HOWTO would be error handling in a BC4J/JSP application. What is best practise? How do we make sure that when a database error occurs, we can trap the error and provide a friendly error message, or failing that, at least ensure the standard error is usable by a maintenance programmer. For eg. the following error occurs if a referential constraint restricts the delete:
javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: JBO-26041: Failed to post data to database during "Delete": SQL Statement " DELETE FROM TECHTRANSFER.TTSITES Sites WHERE SITEID=:1".
in fact the same error message is displayed for almost any database error - the programmer can't fix the problem when he has no idea what it is!! (same with update and insert)
I wasn't going to request this until I had read all of the help available on error processing but the way this project is going I won't get time. If you think that it is adequately covered in the help, then fine, just let me know where.

You can enclose your bc4j/jsp code with a try / catch expression. That way if a failure occurs, you can trap it, display a friendy error, and do whatever you want with the exception.
What I have been doing for develpment purposes, is send via email a modified errorpage.jsp. Here is what gets emailed to me (*'s in potentially sensitive data) and displayed to the screen (I'm eventually going to replace all the displayed garbage with something friendly):

all th queries r working perfectly but the above query. why i dont know, even the same query without the bold area

The requested enhancement is that it show the SendPort name as well.
It shows the ReceiveLocation, but there are multiple SendPorts that uses filters to subscriber to the message.
The suspended messages shows me the SendPort name, but I'd like to see it here as well; it would help narrow down the problem much more quickly.
In this specific case, we have our QA system pushing data to our DEV system. The DEV system was refreshed from PROD, and lost therefore was missing some data tables needed by a stored proc to lookup the @AirlineName properly.
We have an EventLog scraper that sends us emails when there are errors in the EventLog. Thus the email doesn't show the SendPort, making it harder to figure out what the issue is.

One way I would suggest is to create an orchestration which will subscribe to these kind of failures and send an email out with the respective details. You can refer the below context properties of the failed message to access the Send port name and location:

Hi,
the MSI file is the MSI file to install the SQL Server Embedded Edition. Normally it is called during the installation of the package you have installed (WSUS or other). If possible you should extract the package you have installed and look for a sql*.msi file. I'm only familiar with WSUS in this case. Here it is a sqlrun03.msi file together with a sqlrun.cab and a sqlservr.exe file. With this MSI file you can install the SQL Server. In your case (AD) you have to look for exact SQL MSI file within you package.
Another way would be to set the ACL of the given path (with the master.* files) so that the startup account of the Microsoft##SSEE service has appropriate rights on it.

I have been looking at this compilation error for a while and I cannot figure it out.
I am compiling with this command:

The error is:

(The system cannot find the path specified)

Why is it telling me that it cannot find the path, when it has to create the .class file itself?
I would appreciate some insight into this problem?

Thank you for you help, but i'am still a bit confused. The "pshah" was a typo, it should have been pshah3, so that's not the problem. Here's a more detailed explanation of what i'am trying.
I am declaring the exitlister class in the following path:

Help please for compilation error

I have made an utility app.
I have used CFHTTPMessageRef class from CoreServices.h
This works fine with me for Simulator.
Now when i change Active SDK to Device it gives compilation error :
1) No such file or directory : <CoreServices/CoreServices.h>
2) Syntax error before CFHTTPMessageRef.
While reading i came to know that CoreServices is available only for Simulator and not for device(Correct me if wrong).
I also added CFNetwork framework for linking in build settings.
Can anybody suggest something on this...

Help request for Oracle DB Performance tuning

I need some help on Oracle performance tuning.
My environment is VB 6 frontend & Oracle 8
in backend.
The problem I am facing is particularly in
muli-user environment. Some query which takes
20 seconds to when there is only one user
working in the network, takes more time
(3 minutes to even 5 minutes) when there are
4-5 users working in the network.
What may be wrong ?

server level CPU utilization is max 50 %,

There can be many reasons for time delay.
Here are some--
1) You may not be releasing the locks on objects quickly after use.
This can be obtained by querying v$locked_object.
2) You may be holding many sessions concurrently and not closing the older ones.
This u can get by querying v$session.
These are some common problems in multi-user platform.

Help needed for ORA-errors

Hello all ,
My client is running a report from one form.But after pressing the button "run report" , he got one dialog box saying the following errors :
ORA-01115: IO error reading block from file string (block number 69225)
ORA-01110: data file string: 'string'
ORA-27091: skgfqio: unable to queue I/O
OSD-04006: ReadFile() failure, unable to read from file
O/S-Error: (OS 33) The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file.
==> Select hdr.INV_HDR_ID
Can any one point me in the right direction on how to fix this? I have not encountered this before.

Probably other process open your datafile before you open database. Example : when you copying datafiles open database.
