Help Requested. Have a BI Publisher requirement.

Greetings!
I need some help to go about in the right direction in creating some BI report template and emailing.
I have oracle 11g DB, OBIEE and BI Publisher.
I have a table in Oracle DB - Users
The columns in the table are -
First name, last name, Service organization, addr line 1, addr line 2, city, state, zip, emaiI.
I want to create a MS word template which would run for every user in the User table and email the word document to each user's email.

If there are 20 users in the table, This template has to be used to create the word document for those 20 users and emailed to them by taking the email field from the table.

However let me detail out what I'm trying to do here, and maybe it would help you help me.
I have one Table of people's names, address, email id and personal details. These people are not intended to be OBIEE users. It is a table with people's names and email id.
I want to create a standard email template with certain fields personalized for each individual member of the table and send out an email.
I achieved the email template using narrative view. So i have a standard template with the name, address etc populated form the narrative view's help.
Now, I have to send it to each of the user's email using the email specified in email column.
(( I'm researching more on using the SA system table .. but I really do not want to create them as OBIEE users.))
Points to ponder and further action-
Each time a new user is added to the table - the personalized email should be sent to that member. ((Maybe use flags??)
(I was thinking in terms of Triggers - & is there a way to use scripting for scheduling agents? command line?)
Please ask more details and I can answer them for help.

How did you get the Extract filter into Photoshop CC? You will need to undo that - especially if you copied a whole batch of plug-ins supplied by Adobe with an earlier version.

i have one of the requirement for an application, we do upload some release not in file server and that is used in application link to see the note. in this note i have converted the Excel into .HTM format(web page). this was working fine, but from last
two days all of a sudden we are recieving error as above.

Actually Arnavsharma provided a operable method for you. But no luck, it's not invalid.
Here I also offer you an method you can try.Please delete the extra (parasite) zone from the Zones subkey :
Click Start , click Run , type regedit , and then click OK
Expand the following registry subkey
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones
Delete the extra (parasite) zone from the Zones subkey
Note: The parasite zone is a pseudo-graphic number listed before zone number 0. The pseudo-graphic number looks like a miniature upper case "L"

BI Publisher requirement in 11g

Hi Experts,
I wanted to know if the following scenario is possible in BI publisher and if yes then how.
I have one report which contains the summary and detailed data. When downloading it to excel is possible that the summary report goes to one tab and the detail report to annother tab in the same excel. Also the navigation between the summary and detailed report should be through some links.
Any help on this would be greatly helpful.

Updated to Adobe Muse 2014 this morning and have worked in it for the last 8 hours. Now when I try to publish the updated site to Business Catalyst for my client to preview it crashes everytime. I have tried just publishing altered files only, then tried the whole site again, and then tried publishing as a new site altogether. Thought I would then try to export as HTML in the hope of uploading the files via an FTP client and Muse crashes and locks up again. I am extremely stressed about this as I am in the last few days of of website I have been working on now with no issues since December. We are due to go live and my client needs to see it. I am desperate for an answer. It is not looking good. I am on an Apple Mac and have not had any isses publishing it for the last 6 months. Not very happy to say the least. Need desperate help.

Hi Zak, I got onto Adobe Customer Care Live Chat this morning and gave them the error message. After some trouble shooting with them it appears the older archived file of the site still publishes. I have now reverted back to the old file and copied and pasted out of the new file and from some ideas given to me by support I am now able to publish to Business Catalyst. It seems there was something corrupt within the new pages added yesterday. I have no idea if this would have still happened if I hadn't updated but I am glad it wasn't a Muse specific problem. I am loving using Muse and the support from Adobe has been excellent. Thanks everyone. By the way I do love the new version and apart from this hick up that lost me a few hours, aged me some more and gave me grey hair I really love Muse. Thanks again.

The latest versions of InDesign will not run on XP. Here is a link to a page that lists the system requirements for most versions of InDesign. As you will see CS6 will run on XP and is still being sold if you would like to try that out.

I have another computer to which I installed wireless capability because it didn't come with it. This required attching some piece of equipment to the back of the PC which enabled it to get on the internet without another cable modem. My question is this. If I get an iphone or a laptop(with built in wireless ability) will I automatically be able to go on the web because of the router on the Mac.

Try going to the Oracle site - they did have a page showing how to remove Java 7 using the terminal program.
I followed their instructions and it didn't work for me, but you may have better skills and luck than I.

And check the Mavericks requirements again. A MacBook that shipped with only 1 Gig of RAM is probably too old for use with Mavericks. As I believe that all of the qualifying MacBooks shipped with a minimum of 2 Gigs RAM.
The minimum requirement for the MocBook is:
MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
Note: It always helps to mention your exact Mac model when posting a question in the forums.

Help requested with White Balance

This may come as a surprise to many, but here I am requesting your help, instead of giving it.
I have filled out a feature request with the following content, already some time ago:
Would it not be nice to be able to extract the WB settings in K from the metadata and be able in post to change it to what you should have done during the shoot.
Say your WB is set to 5600 K, you can extract that from the metadata and with the White Balance effect you can enter a desired setting of say 6100 K. During the shoot you can do that with the Canon XF series, but if you have forgotten to use a warm card instead of the white balance card, this would be a great effect to have. Or in the situation where you simply want a shot to be slightly cooler or warmer, this would be a great feature.
Interface similar to the scale slider and fully keyframeable. The program monitor should reflect changes in color temperature immediately. Simple, easy to understand, like using a set of Warm Cards after the shoot.
Retrieval of the color temperatures should not be difficult. It is contained in the metadata:
It works both with AWB and manual for the XF series. If the camera does not record these data, the effect should be greyed out.
I request your help to get this feature implemented, since it is pretty simple to implement, is a great help to have when doing multicam work, to fine tune different cameras or to change the atmosphere of a shot. It is far easier than the color correction effects we already have.
If you agree with me, please fill out a similar feature request. The more requests made, the greater the chance of it being implemented.

Harm, I've seen instances of multi-cam shoot cameras that were identical models, using a clone of the settings which still resulted in differences in color. I've seen this blamed on the chips and the chip manufacturing process. I've also seen multicam footage from analog cameras that were supposedly balanced before shooting that resulted in shifts. And then, you have a situation where the atmospherics can alter the color, such as when one camera is close to the action, and the distant camera is shooting through fog or haze that has light shooting through it.
So again, while you can get in the ballpark with certain regimes, when it comes time to finish, you have to trust your eyes.
So, for my situation, it's not something that rises to the level of something I'd use enough to warrant a feature request.
My biggest issue today is that I'd love to see Pr offering bottom-up rendering, the way Avid MC offers it with its Render All option vs. Smart Rendering, which is top down. I don't like that I have to re-render entire sequences just because I made a little change to an upper layer clip. That, to me, warrants a concerted campaign or pitchfork mob.
But, I'll make a pact with you. If you'll request bottom up rendering, I'll request WB metadata support, OK?
