Help Required in Pro*C

Question

Hi all,
In Proc*C, is it possible to pass Array of type varchar2,char or Integer as parameters to a procedure?
If yes, Pls. give an example or any other reference site.
Purpose : Suppose I have an array which is already populated, I want to send that array of Integers/Char/varchar2 to the procedure & in the procedure, I want to dump the array into a table(instead of sending record by record in a loop)

If you are using Oracle 8i+, than you can make use of the bulk bind feature.
for e.g
char myarray[20];
int i=0;
Forall i in 1..20 loop
insert into table values (:myarray);
or
if your DB version is < 8i
You can build a PLSQL block inside your Proc and populate the PLSQL table inside it.
for e.g
EXEC ...
declare
type mytab_t is Table of Varchar2(20)
index by binary integer;
mytable mytab_t;
i number(10) := 0;
begin
for i in 1..20
loop
mytable(i) := :myarray;
end loop;
proc_call(mytable);
