Help required: N70 displays calendar entries 1 hou...

Hi All
I have an N70 which is around 2 months old, and using PC Suite v6.6.16 for PC connectivity.
A major problem that I am finding is that when I synchronise my phone with the Outlook 2003 calendar on the PC, all my calendar entries appear in the phone 1 hour earlier than they should be (NB we are currently on summer time in Sydney but one would think that the phone and/or software would accommodate this).
Has anybody else experienced similar problems, or do you have any suggestions as to how to rectify the situation? From what I can gather, the notes on the website re PC Suite v 6.7(rel 16/12/05) do not suggest they have fixed this issue.

Seemed to have solved the problem ...
If you do see this happen - you'll notice a calendar entry that it keeps adding / deleting... go delete the offending entry from your calendar. Problem then goes away ...

Help required on 'FOR ALL ENTRIES IN'

I am using this query:
SELECT vguid qausp
INTO TABLE tb_qualif
FROM vlcadddata
FOR ALL ENTRIES IN tb_distmode1
WHERE vguid = tb_distmode1-vguid
AND aqual = 'ASPT'.
Now if the internal table contains no data tb_distmode1 then the query is giving wrong result. In fact it is ignoring the part 'FOR ALL ENTRIES IN tb_distmode1'.
Ideally my requirement is not to fetch any data if the table is empty. So can anyone suggest any suitable way so that I can get the desired result without using IF...ENDIF.

This is because when the table which is used in for all entries is empty, all the database records are selected.
Solution :
Before the select query check if the table tb_distmode1 has any entries . Only then make the select query to execute.
describe table tb_distmode1 lines sy-tfill.
if sy-tfill GE 1.
SELECT vguid qausp
INTO TABLE tb_qualif
FROM vlcadddata
FOR ALL ENTRIES IN tb_distmode1
WHERE vguid = tb_distmode1-vguid
AND aqual = 'ASPT'.
endif.
I dont think there is any other way to achive your requirement.

Http Service : Help required in displaying result

Hi All,
I have created a http service and i'm trying to post the http request. the result is Successful but i'm not able to display the result in the alert window.
This is what I'm trying to do on the result event handler function.
protected function postRequestResult_resultHandler(event:ResultEvent):void
var srt:String = event.result.nodeValue;
Alert.show(srt , "Result");
but I'm getting an output something like [object object ]
Please help. All I need is to do is, display the complete soap envelop ( soap header and body ) present in the result.
Is there a way to do it ?

Thanks for all your replies. I was able to solve it by making the resultFormat property of http service object as text, This returned the entire result as a string. And i was able to display it.

Outlook not Displaying all Sharepoint 2007 Shared Calendar entries

Hello all, we have an issue that I've been working on for a while with no success.
One Sharepoint List (Calendar) with approval workflow, connected to Outlook. Two users with the same privileges to the list. Both users see all "approved" items when viewing the list via IE. One user can see ALL (approved and pending) items via
Outlook, the other only seems to be able to view SOME approved items (not all approved items) via Outlook.
So, my questions:
1. Any idea why outlook is displaying ALL items to User 1, when the list view in IE only shows approved items?
2. Why can User 2 only view some of the approved items via outlook? Rather than all items like user 1? (At the very least you'd expect User 2 to at least see all approved items.
Anyone seen this before? I give up...

I have seen a lot of weirdness with MOSS 2007 calendars syncing to Outlook, but as far as fixes, its normally not too bad. for this particular issue, you might just want to remove the calendars from their outlook and re-add them.
However, normally the most common issue is that outlook will allow users to create calendar entries that are invalid in SP. i.e. the SP calendar has a required field, but Outlook does not allow users to edit that field as its custom (or outlook lets
you keep the title empty which also causes weirdness in syncs).
I would look and see what columns are required on the list, then export the list to excel and look for any items which have empty required fields. Either, update those items, or delete them from the calendar, then resync to Outlook and it should be
good.
There may be something different, but this is the most common thing I see on these issues, let me know if it helps or not.

Please Help Me! I've deleted almost all of my Outlook 2003 calendar entries and can't get them back!

I synced my Curve to my Outlook 2003 calendar two days ago, and it worked great. Then I added a few items to the calendar on my blackberry and tried to sync so those new entries would appear on my outlook calendar. I stupidly just clicked through and didn't read the pop up screens because I thought it would just work fine.
Somehow, this move deleted nearly all of my calendar entries on my Outlook, but all of the entries are still on my Blackberry calendar (over 1,000 entries). Now, I can't get them back on my Outlook calendar. I tried just syncing one way from device to Outlook and it looks like it's doing it, but then nothing shows up on Outlook.
What do I do?

In the Desktop Manager > Sync > Configuration, make sure the calendar options are set to override Outlook.
Set it also to notify you of the changes, so you will have to approve any changes.

Calendar Entries not Displaying Properly in Desktop Outlook 2007

We have 3 employees who have the Palm Treo 750 phone. It appears that since the time change we have started having problems with calendar entries displaying properly on our computer desktop Outlook calendars. So far we have observed the following:
*Calendar entries disappearing from desktop Outlook but still remain on phone. For example, I came in this morning and SOME of my calendar entries for the remainder of this week are gone but they are ALL still showing on my phone.
*If disappearing calendar entries are added back via the desktop Outlook, it accepts but then it displays that appointment TWICE on the phone.
*When accepting meeting requests from the phone, they display on the phone but not on the desktop Outlook calendar.
There are other employees who use their phone to sync with our server for their e-mail, contacts and calendar. All of those are still working fine. None of them however, are using Windows Mobile 6 Professional. One employee is using Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and she can't tell that she is having any problems.

Help: Calendar entries disappear on Pearl 8100

I have a BB Pearl 8100 and have the problem that calendar entries disappear from the device. Entries as recent as those from the previous week all of a sudden disappear. I have re-synchronized several times (I use Outlook 2003 for calendar and contacts), and the entries stay in the device for a few days but after a week or so, all past appointments, except the recurring ones, just disappear. I don't have a problem with contacts, and I don't synchronize emails, so the issue is only Calendar.
I have the Options set in my device to keep appointment forever, so that does not seem to be the problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I don't have ringtones, music or videos in the BB. However, I have 30,600 bytes "File Free", out of 64mm "File Total". I guess this would qualify as very little memory left. Doesn't make sense though, since the only things I have in the device are my contacts and the calendar. What could be using up the memory?

Unsync + sync = all calendar entries gone! Help???

So I had my contacts and calendars synced with mobile me. I went into settings on my iphone and unsynced them both. Then realised that that deleted all my contacts and calendar entries from my iphone. So I synced it back up.
But all my calendar entries are gone! They're not on mobile me and they're not on my iphone! They seem to be completely gone! Is there anyway to get them back? I'm really screwed if I can't get them back.
Also, my contacts won't seem to sync back to my phone. I'm not as worried about them, though, because they are still no my mobile me.

I backed it all up. One thing i did notice while backing up...
When doing the custom backup, I noticed two entries on my device.. Calendar and Calendar-all
There are 447 entries on my calendar-all which DO NOT show up on my Outlook calendar and
5 entries on the calendar that DO show up on my Outlook calendar.
This could be a clue. Now that I think about it, this issue showed up around the time that I updated my bb software to 4.5
Any idea what is the difference between calendar and calendar-all?

Well you need to add the email account back to get the calendar entries. Transfer them to another email provider. Then delete the account you don't want.

Have same issue, reset doesn't help (
I can delete unwanted photos and albums following way:
1) Backup all photos from device (Important!!)
2) Connect to iTunes, enter managing device, select 'Photos' link
3) Select checkbox Sync Photos from <My Pictures>, choose 'Selected folders' but select NONE of them
4) Click Apply, agree to Delete All Photos from device
5) Uncheck 'Sync Photos from', click Apply
Now i have cleared all previous synced folders, that i unable to delete from device.
