Help required on configuring Auto Login...!

Hi All,
I'm using SUn ONE Webserver Service Pack 9. And once after starting my Web Server instance and when ever I invoke my application url (http://localhost:8080/) It automatically takes me inside the application. I need to remove this auto login configuration. Because whenever I use Logout and login using some other user_id. It still logs in as the same Auto login user name.
Kindly help me.

When I reboot the machine, the first line in route table gets erased, I then run:
#route add default gw 34.36.143.254
After which network works fine.
Help required. I don't want to use NetworkManager.

NetworkManager is now the default mechanism for RHEL 7. Personally I don't quite understand this, because as far as I can gather it is a program for systems to automatically detect and connect to known networks. I think such functionality can be useful when switching between wireless and wired networks, but for a server platform, I wonder.

Help required in configuring telnet

Hi,
We have two PIX 515E firewalls working in HA mode.
I wanted to configure telnet access to firewalls from outside interface.
PIX version is 6.3(5)
I kept PC outside to outside interfaces.
PIX outside IP is 10.10.200.3, inside IP is 10.10.202.5 corresponding virtual IPs are 10.10.200.2 and 10.10.202.7
I have tried following configurations:
pix(config)#telnet 0 0 inside
pix(config)#telnet 0 0 outside
pix(config)#telnet 10.10.200.0 255.255.255.0 outside
pix(config)#telnet 10.10.202.0 255.255.255.0 inside
pix(config)#telnet 10.10.200.200 255.255.255.255 outside
I am able to telnet from internal interface side using inside ip address.
But from outside test pc with IP 10.10.200.200 I am not able to telnet to PIX.
I enabled logging console 5.
when I tried to telnet to outside virtual IP it is not showing any traffic to firewall.
If I try to outside interface I am able to see the traffic like
packets received from source 10.10.200.200 to 10.10.200.3
any help in this configuration. I wanted to telnet firewall from test pc.

from security reasons is not possible to telnet to outside interface there is no way how to permit this you need you ssh instead of telnet

Help required in configuring counting rule

I have limited experience in SAP-HR configuration. Kindly help me quota configuration. The client has only absence type u2013 Earned Leave. The leave rule is the same for all the employees. The leave rules are:
1.     The employees are credited with earned Leave on Jan 1 every year, for the attendance days put in during the previous calendar year.
2.     The employee is eligible for Earned Leave only if he has attendance for at least 240 days during the previous year. If the employee has joined the company during the middle of the previous year, then he should have attendance for at least 2/3 of the remaining working days during the year.
3.     The employee should be credited with 1 day EL for every 20 working days. If the employee, for example, has worked for 268 days during the year then he should be credited with 13 days EL (268/20=13, with 8 days as remainder). The remainder days, if any, should be carried forward to the next year and considered at that point as added to the number of working days. E.g. employee has worked for 268 days in year 2010. He will be credited with 13 days EL on 1 Jan 2011. Assume he has worked for 256 days in year 2011. Then while creating the absence quota for EL on 1 Jan 2012, the system should consider working days as 256 (from year 2011) + 8 (remainder from year 2010) = 264. Hence the employee should be credited with 13 days of EL on 1 Jan 2012 (264/20 = 13 days; 4 days remainder).
4.     Leave carry forward rules: The employee is allowed to carry forward the EL balance to the next year. However, after carry forward the total balance should not go beyond 30 days. Any thing in excess of 30 days will get lapsed, if it is not encashed.
Kindly let me know how to configure the counting rule & the deduction rule for the above scenario.

Help required in configuring multicast routing

Hi,
We have two 2 servers and 200 clients.
2 servers are in one vlan, 200 clients are in another vlan.
first server will send data to second server with multicast address 234.5.6.7
second server will send data to 200 clients with multicast address 234.5.6.8
first server is able to send data to second server.
but second server is not able to send data to clients.
If we put clients in same vlan, second server is able to send data to clients.
So we understood that multicast routing needs to be enabled in L3 switch.

Any help in configuration required for this.........

Does your client vlan and server vlan exist on same layer 3 switch if yes then perform this config and it should work..
On global config mode
ip multicast-routing distributed
On interface vlan config (for both client vlan and server vlan)
ip pim sparse-dense-mode
You can very well fine tune later.Try this and update if it worked.

I have failed to run forms 6.0 on the web, i have tried all the
option
JDK supplied with the Developer 6.0 Software on DOS prompt.
Jinitiator 1.1.7.11
When i run forms from the Designer they work But When i try them
to run form the browser Every thing works the status bar
of the Internet Explorer 5 says applet initialized but the forms
do not show up. when i press the refresh button of the browser
the status bar show applet running and a forms window appear's
but with out showing the form. I have checked from the Java
Console it shows the same error on and again with or without
jinitiator. I have almost tried every setting.

I had the same problem for the longest time... The problem is
the "SplashScreen" it hangs everything up...
My solution was add this line to your html:
<param name="splashScreen" value="no">

Help Required to configure GRC Work Inbox Type Not Found Error

All .. I am new to the hands on part on GRC 10. Am trying to configure RM Work INbox. When I go through NWBC to Risk Asessments and try to create a Risk am getting the below error: Type _Not-Found Error for the transaction GRRM_POWL_RNP and GRRM _POWL_RESPONE. Just to verify you do not have your own router/gateway correct? Your computer either connects directly into the wall or into a box provided by the ISP?
Router/gateways stop incoming requests. And if it is yours then you have to figure out how to configure it so it allows those requests through.
But presuming that you do not....
Again i wanna make it clear that nobdy is able to ping
my machine and i am also not able to ping any
ipaddress whether it be yahoo or anything else. But i
am able to access every site (ofcourse through
browser) and i am also able to use every application
which is using custom ports.
Get ethereal. Play with it a bit. Use your browser and capture what occurs so you know what is going on.
Then have someone ping you while running.
I suspect you will not see the ping packet.
What this means is that your ISP is blocking all incoming socket connection requests. You solution is ....
- Get them to open the ports up
- Get a different ISP.
The problem : nobdy is able to connect to the server
writen by me in java.
Also the client and the server are diferent. The
server waits for incoming client requests (using
sock.accept() ) while the client simply tries to
connect to server through the constructor

Resolved? Resolution only occurs when you use a domain name. There is no resolution when an IP is being used. You are using an IP for all of your testing correct?

Help Required :Unable to auto generate the layout in BIP

Hi All,
This is Ronny, I am really having a tough time using OBIEEE. I am trying to create a simple report in which when i try to auto genreate a rtf template then it says *" failed to load the layout"* and gives me connection timed out error ( unable to autoload). I edited it and tried a simple select statement but still no luck.
Has somebody else faced the same problem, I request you to please give me your inputs on the same.

Thanks a alot for replying, i use the query builder to build the initial query but even after that it fails to auto load the template. I tried building the simplest of queries through the query builder but got the same error even when the query runs fine in TOAD . However, upon trying again i got some luck and it generated the template. But still for me, its a hook and crook means i am not sure that that it would generate the template again for me or not.

How to configure LDAP SSL using auto login wallet?

Hello,
I need to enable authentication over LDAP SSL.
I've configured a wallet (auto login) containing required certificates and set accordingly WALLET_PATH and WALLET_PWD settings using apex_instance_admin.set_parameter method.
With this, everything is working fine and LDAP over SSL is working well. It confirms that the wallet is properly configured, valid and usable.
So, the wallet was created with auto login option and it seems to work well without specifying password when calling utl_http.
Proof of properly configured auto login wallet (without password).

Auto login cwallet requires password

I created a cwallet with orapki and auto_login using putty. OHS startall fails with error
Cannot open an encrypted wallet file (wallet location) while process is managed by OPMN. Enable it as SSO wallet
On reading up furthur, I found that Enable it as SSO wallet means that the wallet requires a password. I had checked the auto login checkbox when the cwallet was created using OWM.
To confirm that password was the issue, I tried opening the cwallet using the command
orapki wallet display -wallet wallet_location
The command did request for password.
Even though i had checked the auto login option why has the display of the cwallet requested for password.
(FYI - cwallet was created from ewalllet.p12, ewallet opens fine with the oraclepki command after i provide the ewallet password. Hence there are no issues with my ewallet.p12 file)
Can this issue be environment related.

User i had used to access OWM, to save the wallet, to get the cwallet is the same user who has access to all the folders in the installation.
After closing the wallet manager i immediately try opening the generated cwallet file with orapki display command with the same user id, yet it requests for password.

Urgent help required related to login management

I have a requirement in which i am stuck.
i would like to explain with a example
The requirement is a unique login in a web application.
Say a user has logged in with a name [ tom ] on machine 1.
Now the user with the name [ tom ] should be allowed to be logged in from other machine say machine 2 and only if the user with [ tom ] has logged off from machine 1 then only we can log in with the user name
[ tom ] from on machine 2.
How is it possible in a web application using jsp servlets and form beans.

The best solution what i think would be is as follows
Every infotype will have a customer include starts with CI_P* which gives the capacity to include the new customer fields.
Eg : for P0001 it is CI_P0001.
we need to create a custom screen to handle the custom field. You can check the table T582C for the custom screens.Then your new custom screen is included to the infotypes in the above said table.
Once the Customer include is enhanced and added a field, then we need to go and do the field level configuration to make sure that the your new field appears when you go to specific infotype in PA30.
Make sure the custom field is a Input field. If it is not the Input field you BDC will fail.

Problems joining Wi-Fi networks that require viewing a redirect page in iOS 8.1.1? Check your "Auto-Login" setting.

Are you having problems joining previously used Wi-Fi networks that require you to view a login or redirect page (say to accept Terms of Use) first? The problem could be your Auto-Login Wi-Fi network setting.
I found numerous cases where I could not access in-store Wi-Fi networks (Nordstrom was one), hotel networks or in fact networks where you had to first view a Terms and Conditions page or where you had to login via a web form.
These were all networks I had used before.
This appears to be due to the "Auto-Login" setting assuming that once you (re)join a previously known network you can just go ahead and use it without further action. When the iOS device receives an error trying to use the network, it silently drops the Wi-Fi association.
If this is happening to you, follow these steps:
1) Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi
2) Select the network you want to join
3) When a check-mark appears next to the SSID, press the "i" button on the right hand side
4) Set Auto-Join however you want, but shut off the Auto-Login switch
5) Now attempt to use the network and you should be presented with the usual redirect page with terms you must accept or where you must login to use the Wi-Fi network in question
This cleared up the issue for me everywhere I had previously been having issues.

Just let me get one thing straight...you don't change don't do this for the PC you have your router plugged in to?
"For Vista:
1. Open Control Panel, Network and Internet, Network and Sharing Center, Manage Network Connections
2. If Wireless, Right click on your Wireless Network Connection, otherwise, Right click on Local Area Connection and click Properties
3. Highlight Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)
4. Click Properties
5. Tick Use the Following IP Address and enter the IP you want to use for that PC. I would start at 192.168.0.100(D-Link) and work your way up on each additional device. The second device would be 192.168.0.101, the 3rd, 192.168.0.102 and so on. Like I said, different brands of routers use different IP's, so it could be 192.168.1.100 and so on, so you will need to know the IP address of your router first.
6. Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0 on all pc's and devices
7. Default Gateway is 192.168.0.1(D-Link) or whatever your router's IP is on all pc's and devices
8. Tick Use the Following DNS Server Address and enter 192.168.0.1(D-Link) or whatever your router's IP is and click OK.
9. You will need to do this on all Vista Pc's"

Hi,
I am using Weblogic 6. I have created a new Web
Application called Web (I have not used the DefaultWebApp_myserver).
And I have the following settings:
Name : Web
URI : Web
and Path : C:\Web
and placed my JSP files under c:\Web\
I am able to access the first page, but after that I am not able to access the
second page.
I get "Error 404--Not Found" on the browser. Basically the class file is not getting
created under /Web-inf/_tmp_war_myserver_myserver_Web/jsp_servlet/ folder .
I tried a work around for this. I copied all my files under one more folder called
web and placed this under C:\Web
The it works. Now I have 2 copied off all the files, 1 copy under c:\web and another
copy under c:\web\web\.
If I have the files under DefaultWebApp_myserver and have the setting as
Name: DefaultWebApp_myserver
URI: DefaultWebApp_myserver
Path: .\config\mydomain\applications
everything works fine.
Can any one please let me know if there is any configuration which has to be done
so that I do not duplicate the code in 2 directories

Auto login problem in Discoverer -- Urgent Help

Hi All,
I'm trying to call discoverer 4i plus from viewer.
I did auto login for discoverer 4i plus for 9i AS(2.1).It worked
fine. I did the same for 9i AS(2.2).Basically i tried to get
login inforamtion from cookies in webdisc.js file .The edited
webdisc.js like this
var user = getCookie ("Username");
If i remove this line my discoverer 4i plus works fine without
having any problem.if add the above code then i get the
following error
"Unable to connect to the Oracle Discoverer Application server.
Failed to connect to session XXXOracleDiscovererSession4 using
OSAgent."

In my viewer, i've provided a link to plus. When an user hit
this link it should take the userid from viewer and auto logins
to plus. In viewer, i'm putting the userid and password in a
cookie and reads the information from cookie in webdisc.js(This
is disco plus script file for auto login)
I did the whole process in 9iAS(2.1) it works fine. Only this
version(2.2) i'm getting the error
"Unable to connect to the Oracle Discoverer Application server.
Failed to connect to session XXXOracleDiscovererSession4 using
OSAgent."
I'm interested to know how u did auto login on NT using <PARAM>
tag.
