Help required regarding sending jar files using bluetooth

I want to send jar file from Nokia 7610 (S60), or any other phone for that matter, to any other phone using bluetooth. The problem is that, when I look at the options available for the jar file (which is saved in the Inbox), the send option is not visible.
I looked at the previous postings on this topic. Is it due to "Closed Content List" (CCL)??? What are the possible workarounds, other than using getResourceAsStream or some software like FExplorer???
Also, this problem is not encountered in Sony Ericsson phones. Plz help regarding the same...

Hi,
You might wanna look take a look in the JSR 82 Specifications. There is a method like agent.startInquiry(); that starts a search for nearby BT devices. All you have to do is place each found device in an array of type Vector.
It would have been easier if your code or a snippet of it was available to see what the problem was.
Rambo.
PS: A client application application starts a connection on a server application. Where you put them is up to you.

  • Help Required Regarding - SAP Job names using R3 data flows

    We are calling a set of SAP Jobs using R3 data flows in data services. When ever a job fails we first kill the active SAP jobs by logging into SAP and then restarting the Jobs.
    There are about 100 odd SAP jobs that we call using these Data services Jobs so we wanted to kill the jobs using a reusable code on the SAP side by passing the Job name just before every R3 flows just incase its still in active status.
    So wanted to know if there are any short cuts to retrive the set of associated SAP job names because it will be a tedious process to hardcode the SAP job names and pass them as parameters for all the 100 + SAP job names in the custom defined resuable code.
    Any help or advice on this please !!

    The program is not meeting the expectations
    and the problem is due to reflection.Do we know this for certain?
    ... my application gets the class name, field name
    etc. from an XML file so i don't know their method names
    beforehand .
    Now since every class instance corresponds to a row
    in the database and i have to call get and set
    methods of each class instance so the performance
    keeps on degrading as the number of columns and rows increase .
    Can somebody suggest some improvement regarding this
    and regarding creating multiple instances of the same object Class.forName() will be using a hash already, so there is probably not much room for improvement.
    Class.newInstance() probably does not take significantly more processing than a simple "new Fubar();".
    Umpteen reflective method invokations (one per column) for each row/instance - Are you saying these are the problem?
    You can test this easy enough.
    If you comment out the reflective method invocations and leave the rest of your code untouched,
    does your application processing speed up significantly?

  • How do I send files using Bluetooth on the new Blackberry Curve 3G OS 6?

    Hello everyone,
    I have recently updated my BB Curve (9300) software from version 5.0 up to version 6.0 Bundle 1478. I tried to send normal files (pics, videos or even music) via Bluetooth to another device (whether PC or another BB phone) but I could not find the "Send Using Bluetooth" option that I used to have on my old software version (5.0). Also when I tried to receive any file I could not find the option "receive using Bluetooth" that was on version (5.0). Is there any solution? How to send files over Bluetooth on the new BB Operating System (6.0)?
    Thanks

    Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
    Please double check the steps in this KB to ensure you are following them all:
    KB05409 Transfer a file using Bluetooth technology between two BlackBerry smartphones
    As you discovered, for receipt, there is no longer, under 6.0, the requirement for "Receive Using BT" step on the receiving BB.
    Good luck and let us know!

  • Sending empty files using SFTP Adapter

    I am trying to send empty files using SFTP adapter. The interface has to send the file whether its empty file or containing data using SFTP adapter. I am using BizTalk Server 2013 R2. Is it a bug or the hotfix is already there for this issue.

    The issue here is not your SFTP not able to send 0KB files, but the file receive adapter that is receiving the file. The file adapter deletes 0 KB files and doest not transmit it further.
    If u have a ftp receive for example you should be able to send 0KB files.
    If u have a custom file receive adapter , is it handling 0KB files ?

  • Adding jar file in my gerareted jar file using netbean 4.0

    Hi,
    I write an application de process XML file using JDOM. I add the JDom package jar file to my project and everything work fine. But when I generate, my project jar file using netbean 4.0, my generated jar, is not working with the XML files anymore. Everything seems like it didn't include the JDOM jar file?
    Thanks for any help to fix the problem.

    I find that you can not use command-line such as java -classpath add classpath
    it can not work, I use netBeans4.0 i don't whether because of netbeans or java itself.
    you can add classpath in jar's Manifest.mf file
    Manifest-Version: 1.0
    Ant-Version: Apache Ant 1.6.2
    Created-By: 1.5.0_01-b08 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)
    Main-Class: chat.Main
    // add this line
    Class-Path: dir\*.jar //(jar file name)
    X-COMMENT: Main-Class will be added automatically by build

  • Send A file Using JMS

    I want to send a file Using JMS.. and want to have
    These Details in the message that send.
    Receivers IP address & The file
    That mean I want to send a File from one client to another client Using a Queue
    Can Anyone help me to solve this problem
    thanks

    Read the file then use a JMS BytesMessage or TextMessage. Add your own JMS header for the recievers ip and any other info you want to annotate the message with.
    Watch out for character encoding and max file size problems.
    If your client / server are not on the same network you're likely to run into firewall issues.
    Don't kid yourself that this will be a transactional solution.
    Assumes both clients are Java (JMS headers are a pain to read otherwise)

  • Create BPEL jar file using Bpelc via Java classes

    HI,
    I am trying to create the BPEL files ( xyz.bpel, bpel.xml, xyz.wsdl etc.. ) on the fly using Java code... Once I create all these files, I create a packaged jar (Ex : bpel_xyz_v2006_10_17__37256.jar) file and deploy the same in the Bpel PM.
    Right now, in order to create the jar file, I am running the bpelc.bat file under bpel/bin and then using the IBPELDomainHandle, I am deploying the process.
    But my requirement is to create the jar file using java rather than executing the bpelc.bat file..
    Can you please give me pointers as to how to achieve the same?
    Thanks
    Pramod

    Actually, I had figured out the part of calling the Bpelc class, but initially I was trying to create an object of the class and was not able to do so. That was where I got stuck.
    Eventually, I did something like the code snippet below and it works fine and the jar file is created. Just fyi for anyone looking in the future.
    String[] setupValues;
    setupValues = new String[]{ "-home", "D:\\product\\10.1.3.1\\OracleAS_1\\bpel", "-rev",
    "1.0", };
    Bpelc.main(setupValues);
    Thanks

    In case you geniuses haven't realized I said I tried everything I can think of not that I tried everything. So help or shut up I realize that I didn't try everything but if you can't figure it out either DO NOT POST.
    And the question is how can i rename a jar file using java code? As it says in the title. Read.I would tell you to use the File.renameTo method, but surely that would have been obvious, and you would have tried it already? But maybe you didn't. You were kind of lacking in details in what you tried.
    And yes, I am a genius. Just don't confuse "genius" with "mind-reader".

  • Help on creating a jar file

    I created a game and I need help on creating a jar file.
    I know the basics such as having a root folder, a manifest file and what goes in it, etc. And I know some programs like JGrasp can do the jar file for you, but it tells me it cannot find the main class. Does anybody know another program that can do that for me, or can i easily do it manually?
    any help is appreciated

    You can use jar.exe to create jar files.
    Just type jar and hit enter on the console it will give the help message about parameters.
    if you do not really need to put any spesific menifest information. Just zip the files using some zip software and change the extenction to jar. (Thats what I am doing most of the time)
