Help same photo when dialing or receiving calls

Can anyone help me OH has updated my N8 to belle and I have done something to it!!
When ever anyone phones or I phone anyone it brings up the same picture out of my gallery how do I get rid off it? Hope it makes sense Thanks in advance x x

Hi ry1993,
You have set your call image to a photo within your gallery when assigning a contact or you have selected user defined image as a call image. This will assign one image to every time you call, regardless of the number you are calling.
To reverse this or assign a different image, go to Settings in the handset & select Themes>Call Image>User Defined/Default/Theme Image. Whichever one you prefer.
If you want to assign individual images to contact, follow Ray's instructions.

I got the same problem. The percentage of getting this problem is around 10% of all my dial/receive calls.
The problem usually appears when I receive calls. The phone app will freeze, and I cannot dial or receive calls even I closed the phone app, however, most other apps work properly.
Once this problem happens, I will not be able to turn off the phone by holding sleep button, the only way I can get rid of it is holding sleep and home button at the same time to reset the iphone.

All of my photos now have the same photo when I look at them in the viewing area. I have to actually open the photo itself to see the actual photo. this makes it impossible to work with the photos in iphoto. Help!

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to rebuild the thumbnails. This can take three or four goes.

All audio except phone works fine. But there is no audio when placing or receiving calls.

I have an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.
In the last 24 hours, I cannot use the phone. There is no audio when placing or receiving calls. It doesn't matter if I use speakerphone, headset speaker, or headphones. Nothing works. When I answer inbound calls, the connection is made but the caller cannot hear me. When I place calls, the connection is made but the other party cannot hear me.
All other audio works fine including Music - both speaker and headphones. It seems just the phone audio is affected.
I have plugged in (and out) earphones multiple times as I read this as a possible fix. No help. I reset network settings - no help.
Any suggestions?

Is it the phone speaker or microphone, or both? Sounds like speaker since you say speaker phone works.
What other troubleshooting have you done? I would reboot, and if that doesn't change things then I would do a reset by holding both volume buttons down at the same time until the device starts rebooting.
On BBOS there was a way to make media audio play from the phone speaker instead of the speaker phone speaker. I was thinking of that as a way to test if the problem is the speaker or the phone app, but either I've forgotten how to do that or it can't be done in BB10. If you know how to do it, give it a try (and tell me how to do it).
Next try would be a security wipe, then test before you restore data or install apps. Remember to back up first.
Last would be a clean install of the OS.
If you go as far as clean OS and still doesn't work, I would assume hardware failure.

The only thing is, I have read where it will only keep 100 entries at tops. I'm not sure as I have never let it get that high, however many business users have reported this.
OP, how much history are you talking about keeping? Also, there is no method to archive this in any fashion to be looked at or searched at a later date.

How come photos of contacts in my OS 10.6.3 Address Book appear so small when making or receiving phone calls? They only show up on the top right of the screen as a tiny square. Does anyone know why? Is there a fix for this?

If you take the pictures with your phone, they will be the size of the screen. Pictures from the contacts on your mac will show up in small size.

Had the same problem when my dock connector of the iphone got wet. The phone thought that it was docked the whole time so the mic and speaker didn't work. The iPhone actually has 2 microphones. One is at the bottom by the dock connector (which is used for normal calls), and the other is a tiny whole at the top by the headphone jack, which is used for speakerphone. I would say that either the bottom mic needs replacing, or the dock connection is faulty or damaged and it is not able to use the bottom mic.
Best bet would be to get it to Apple who will normally fix this kind of thing without fuss. Hope that helps.

HTC Rezound Will Not Dial Out/Receive Calls

Ok, this problem has been annoyance for the last couple months. Basically every so often my phone will be unable to make calls or receive them, nor be able to send or receive text, thought 3G/4G work perfectly find. When the calls would fail would get this message:
"Call origination attempt fails due to an immediate signal loss(signal fade or no service)."
This seems to occur towards the middle of the day/early evening, rarely late night or early morning. Does not seem signal dependent because I generally have 3-5 bars. Generally occurs at my workplace more often then elsewhere though I have made calls with no problems from my office. I got the phone in December, worked great through January and February. Early March the problem arose here and there, each time was isolated and would clear up in 5-10 mins, wrote it off as fluke problems with the network. Also of note, this is about when I became aware they were upgrading our network to 4G. The problem got increasing worse, where it was almost everyday from 11 am to 7 pm I couldn't make/receive calls. Finally I decided I would do a factory reset. After the reset had no problems at all. Worked great for about a month, but starting a week ago it came back and slowly getting worse again.
Any ideas? I real hesitant about swapping hardware because I think its ridiculous getting a brand new phone just to replace it with a slightly less broken phone(if lucky). Verizon's track history on refurbished phones is not too good. Every person I know who has had a refurb traded in one problem for another.

I'm implementing a solution, where few sites will be dialing and accepting calls.
For example, A will dial tp B when their primary is down, but when the B primary is down, it will dial to A, and vice-versa.
Trying to make this work using backuo interface, but in backup interface cannot accept calls.
Any idea how can this be perform??

In this scenario you can have 2 dialer interfaces on both the sides binded to ur physical BRI interface in which you can use one dialer interface for dial out and one for dial in.
You need to take care of the dialer string and other authetication details on both the dialers.
Also the floating static routes thru both the dialer interfaces for your access as well as for the remote locations access.
do find the link which deals the same but with PRI its similar to the bri only the physical interface config changes.

It comes up with a Small Contact image as it is Linked to the Facebook or Twitter Account.
But if you edit the Contact and Upload the Image its not possible to get the Small Contact Image.
A Contact needs to be linked to an Account.
You can signin to Facebook and Update the Facebook Contact through:
SETTINGS > FACEBOOK > Turn ON Contacts > UPDATE CONTACTS.
Then,
Go To CONTACTS > GROUPS > Select FACEBOOK.
You Phone Contact will get Linked to the Phone Contacts with Small Contact Images.
Check It....

Problem:
Videos, memos and other sound microphone using applications work without any problem. It just appears when calling or being called. Sometimes it starts during the call.
Situation:
I sent my damaged IPhone 4 to apple for reparation. I bought it for 180 € + 20 € for my retailer.
Some calls later this problem started (only at the new or repaired IPhone). My 3 month warranty is almost over (4 weeks left)
Steps to solve the problem:
- rebootet the IPhone several times
- made a backup (iCloud and ITunes) and recovered it again
- I set back all settings to standard.
--> Nothing changed
Then I went to my retailer, who sent it to Apple, but I just received a sheet of paper where they said, they did nothing.
Surprisingly the problem still exists. Started at the second call I received. Now the warranty time is going to run out in 4 weeks.
Open Questions:
What else can I do? I have a not working IPhone and nobody want's to help me ?!? I feel lost and disappointed. Do they want to cheat me, so my warranty runs out? Thanks for any help

Help? iPhone4 does not always dial out, receive calls or send and receive texts.

My problem started about 8 days ago. I did nothing to my phone, changed no settings, yet last Tuesday it just stopped sending texts for a period of about 4 hours. I could not dial out. Basically, my phone was useless. I also noticed the 3G was not working. It would connect to my home wifi network but nothing else. It started working that night. During this past week, it has done this same thing off and on again. There is no particular pattern. The rest of my family have 3 phones (not Iphones, but basic cell phones through Verizon) and they have not had one issue. During my "blackout" periods, I will have them dial my phone and it will ring on their end for me, but my phone actually will not ring. What gives?? Also, when I am not able to receive or send texts, when my phone starts working again, I will receive all texts I could not get all at once. So, to me this strongly sounds like a Verizon issue within their network. Please help??

Hi Elizabeth Cara, I like to help with the issues with your iPhone 4. The details you provided were great. However, I like to ask a few more questions. How often do you restart your iPhone 4? Are you mainly on the indoors when these issues occur? Even though you did not make any changes on your iPhone 4, it is good to double check make sure they are all set properly. Thumbnail not same photos when clicked on

When I click on a thumbnail a different photo comes up.some thumbnails are black also and some have different icons,anyone able to help ?

I have the same problem. I've imported 7500 photos from a structured library of folders (choosing not to copy the originals into the iPhoto library). It properly created "rolls" for each folder from which the images were imported. But now I notice when I browse that when I look at a roll, many of the thumbnails are from OTHER rolls (other folders). When I click the thumbnail with the wrong image in it associated with the title of the right photo from that roll, the RIGHT photo comes up in edit mode. But basically thousands of these thumbnails are associated with the wrong images! I also noticed that if I play with the scale slider, or scroll up or down among the thumbnails, sometimes the wrong image comes up and is then replaced after a second with the right one.
Twice now, iPhoto (version 6.02) has asked me to rebuild the library. I selected the first two rebuild options to rebuild all the thumbnails. Took about two hours each time. But I still am having this problem... Solutions anyone... please!
