HELP - Screen informations related to FN key

Hello guys,
First of all, I'm a noob here, so please forgive me if I'm posting this at the wrong session. I've searched the forum to check if there's any topic similar to this problem, but i didn't finded.
I recently reinstalled the windows 7 on my Lenovo G-series (G470). The problem is that it stopped showing the screen informations about the functions related to the FN key. Such as volume level, screen bright level, the FN+F2 don't turn off the screen anymore. I presume that this is a driver problem, but I reinstalled all the drivers I think I would need, but i still have this problem.
The second thing (that I believe that is directly related to the first one) is that I am not able to use an external screen (via HDMI or VGA cable), because the image of the notebook simply don't appear in the external screen. And when I press the FN+F7 it simply don't show that image options such "Computer Only" / "Duplicate" / "Extend" / "Projector Only". It's like i haven't connected any cable to the laptop at all.
Can you guys please help me?

Prob 1:
The FN button row which appears at the top of the display is controller by Flash Card Support Utility.
Go to All Programs -> Toshiba -> Flash Cards and restart this software.
If this does not help, then reinstall this tool.
Prob2:
I assume you keyboard language setting does not match with the keyboard layout.
Simply change the keyboard language setting.
I assume you will need to change this to English (United state)

Shift key boots into Safe Mode, not Recovery.
This only works on a Mac running v10.7 Lion or later.
Startup your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys. From there you should be able to access the built in utilities to repair the startup disk and restore OS X using OS X Recovery
If you can't boot into Recovery Mode, help here > Mac OS X: Gray screen appears during startup

Regarding closure of Help Screens on Escape Key.

I am using javax.help API to build help screens for my application.
Everything is working fine now I have a requirement to dispose the help window on escape key.
As soon as the help icon is clicked I am delegating the ActionEvent to CSH.DisplayHelpFromSource.
Now I need the help window in my hand to add keylistener and dispose it on escape.
Can anyone pleae help me out.

When I compose an email it flies up the screen when I press the shift key. I've clicked default settings on Keyboard in Preferences but it has made no difference. It has only just started happening.

This problem has also been plaguing me today. Here are my specifics and how I solved it (Expanding on what Quentin Holmes mentioned)
CONFIRMED WORK AROUND! The .m4v file gets created while encoding, but Adobe Media Encoder does not re-pack it back into the .mp4 unless you select the "Export Audio" in Adobe Premier export prior to queuing. If you don't want audio, mute the individual tracks and still export audio.
My details:
Just bought a GH4, shooting 4k 25fps MOV, trying to simply trim a few clips and export them as H.264 .mp4 with no audio. (By the way it would be nice if we could export 4k .MOV files from the camera back into .MOV once finished editing, but in premier that frame resolution is not supported)
Specs: Mac Mini, Quad Core i7, 16GB Ram, OSX 10.9.4, Adobe Premier Pro CS6 6.0.5, Adobe Media Encoder 6.0.2.81

Aperture does not show tick box for shared photo stream as promised on the help screen

I try to configure Aperture for iCloud shared Photo Stream. According to the help screen, I should select Preferences and see a panel with 4 tickboxes. The first three relate to My Photostream and work fine on all my devices. The crucial fourth tick box for sharing with others however does not show however. What else should I set-up to see the 4th tick box ?

Where can I find detailed, systematic HELP for advanced topics relating to Thunderbird?

In moving from XP to Windows 7, I opted for Thunderbird as email client in order to bypass Microsoft's hyper-intrusive Windows Live Mail (I used Outlook Express for years).
I have a very complicated email structure, and it's taken me weeks (seriously) to learn how to replicate it in TBird. Now I'm trying to customize TBird further, but none of the TBird articles/forum Q&A's/Google searches address my questions.
There is no live tech support for TBird, and I'm just about ready to leave it for good. However -- one last effort: where can I find detailed, systematic HELP for advanced topics relating to Thunderbird?

I am no expert, but I don't know of any authoritative reference as to what elements of HTML and CSS are supported in Thunderbird. However, as I believe you appreciate, it's more than just what Thunderbird supports, but one must also think about what is likely to work in other email clients. Keep it simple. Avoid ancient deprecated tags that other email clients may not support, and for similar reasons, avoid cutting edge technology. Remember that recipients using tablets or smartphones won't appreciate large fancy email documents.
The only thing ''guaranteed'' to work in email is plain text. ;-)
If you haven't already discovered it, the Stationery add-on is designed specifically to support OE stationery in Thunderbird. Your existing stationery may "just work" in this add-on. It makes switching between various stationery templates much easier, but I'm not confident that it will affect interpretation of your CSS or HTML coding.
Your code is at least clean and minimal. Most times my involvement with troublesome templates and signatures centres on the horrible bloat and mso custom code generated by Word or Outlook.
Having said that, you and I are mortal enemies, as I don't have much patience with what you aspire to achieve. I specifically don't like background images, nor being obliged to suffer other folks' bizarre choice of typefaces and colours (but your simple 12pt black Tahoma is quite inoffensive. ;-) ) I'm of an age where my tolerance and eyesight are easily offended.
Nonetheless, I'm intrigued by how to parse the tag for the background image, as it doesn't look like a legitimate pathname to a graphics file. Does the background image actually appear as required?

My help screen on Photoshop CS2 no longer works

I tried to activate the Help Screen on the Photoshop CS2 (Running on Windows 7) and was unable to use it. It was operating before but now I get this. I press Yes to get it to work, now it doesn't
What happened, and how do I correct it?

Does anything happen or you don't get the Adobe Help Center at all?

Lack of help screens in apps

I have downloaded several apps from the ovi store for my C6-01. Many of the apps have no "help" screens or instructions on how to use them. A case in point - I downloaded the CNN app. It is a great app, but I couldn't figure out how to play videos. Videos just wouldn't play. It would be so easy to have a "help" screen that would tell you how to do this. I am not singling out CNN. Many of the apps posted on the ovi store suffer from the same drawbacks. It's just that this was the latest one I downloaded.
Well, I'm not stupid (at least I don't think so). I like to try to figure things out if I can. I discovered that the videos will play if I change the settings within the app. I have the phone settings to use wi-fi only, but CNN defaults to my cell phone provider data to play videos.
What other unknown surprises lurk in some of these apps?
I think Nokia should require any app posted on the ovi store site have a "help" screen or some kind of a "how to" screen.

How to Restrict Master data in value help screen for a user???URGENT

Hello Gurus,
I have a requirement.When a authorized user logins to view the report, he should see only list of customers assigned to that user in the value help screen, instead of displaying whole master data.and the data is displayed perfectly fine for the authorized sales rep. By default, Value help screen displaying all the customer numbers.
How can I restrict in the value help screen?
Any help appreciated with points.

I got that Idea too. I created a authorized customer, I created a authorized Object and assigned to a role.But in the role, when I am changing the object to generate profile, it is asking to select list of customers from the customer table.If the customers are always constant then this would work, but in my scenario, customers for the sales rep changes over time and when I ever reps open the query, they should see updated list of customers assigned to them only, as we update the master data everyday from source system and that shud reflect in the value help.
I am trying User Exit to achieve this, but I am not getting proper ideas how to do this.
Any Help on this issue with user exit code???

SQL Developer Data Modeler - Relation to Foreign Key Generation

SQL Developer Data Modeler 2.0.0 Build 584.
I am having trouble with Relations to Foreign Keys when Forward Engineering a Relational Model from a Logical Model.
First of all, the Naming Standard is not applied to the Foreign Keys when I perform the Engineer to Relational Model.
So I right click on the Relational Model from the Browser and Apply Naming Standards to Keys and Constraints.
I uncheck everything but Foreign Keys.
Now, Foreign Keys are named according to my Naming Standards.
However, this process also performs renames on the Column Foreign Keys even though I specifically unchecked that option.
This appears to be a BUG in the software and I haven't found a way around it.
I tried using {column} instead of {ref column} in the Naming Standard Template for Column Foreign Key, but that simply resulted in renaming my columns to "{column}".
Please confirm and/or let me know of any work-around for this.

Thanks for the reply.
Is this recorded as a bug to be addressed in the future?
Should I submit this problem via Oracle Support?
The other work-around I came up with is to override every Relation name in the Logical Model with the name I want to use in the Relational Model.
When the Relational Model is Engineered, this becomes my Foreign Key name.
Of course, this is not how I want to do things, so I am hoping for a bug fix someday.

In the webdynpro content administrator screen, I can not find the labels used in this screen.
