HELP something is missing here...

hello hello everybody. I have a problem on my hands right now. let my try to lay this out for you guys.
about 2 months ago I bought a brand new MacMini 1.83ghz. everything was fine until 2 days ago. i was running WinXP.. doing some gaming.. then my comp locked up for the first time. i manually shut it down by holding the power button and restarted my computer. everything was fine. then yesterday, I came home and fired up my mac(usually turn it off when I go to bed). but then.... nothing happened. I kinda freaked out, so I shut it off again. when I restarted, about a minute later, I put my head close to the machine to listen for anything strange. no chime but the fans were running and it made the sounds as if it were booting up. only for 5 seconds tho, and then it sounded like the machine was idle. the light turned on too, just no picture or chime.
I tried using it again today, but its doing the same thing. I thought about booting off a disk, but there is already one in the slot that I cant remove another thing, there is no power to the keyboard, the CAPS lock button wont light up when I press it down while the computer is "running"
very very frustrating... has anyone else experienced this problem? do you know how to fix it? i can always send it in, but that would take weeks-weeks spent on a G4 450Mhz Cube

well... its happening again i moved over the weekend and just got my computer arragement set up. the macmini was unplugged for a day, so i think the SMC reset thing is OK. first time i started her up-nothing happened. 2nd time- resolution was at 600x400 during the loading. it sat there(loading) for a few minutes, much longer than it ever takes, then froze. unplugged everything and let it sit for 5 min- nothing. one thing I did notice tho; when my computer was working after the first time this started happeneing-the chime went away even when the machine would load properly. i hope the growing popularity of Apple doesnt turn the company into pumping out less than stellar product to meet the demand, like some companies.... cough dell cough

Im working on audition cs 6 on a mac pro 64 gb ram .
the project I'm working a large project (apron 4 hours long. 6 channels) when i open the project and start working for some reason my system hard drive start
to fill up. when I'm trying to export the project i get a message that my system disk is full and i can't continue exporting the project (well not exactly this message but this is the
main idea).
the weird thing is that on the preferences my cache folder and everything is on another drive.
so why is it eating up my system drive and why can't i export it?

this is totally fine but i don't understand the connection to where Audition is saving this data no metter what it is :/
any way to you questions:
some files are stereo some are mono (mostly short sound effects).
the bit rate i think is 16 (not sure)
about the effects, there is a reverb effect on one of the channels.
even if its the heaviest project but on the preferences I'm setting up different drive to work on how come the system drive is fulling up every time the project is starting up? (the hard drive also cleaning it self after i close Audition)

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

One of the computers on my homesharing network is automatically downloading purchases even though settings are not checked for this to occur? What am I missing here? BTW only one of the three computers (pc) is doing this.

We have three computers (two pcs and one mac) on our home sharing network. When I buy a song on my pc it is automatically downloading it to my husband's pc - but not my daugher's mac. I think I found the answer to my own problemin case anyone experienced the same thing. There is a separate spot in itunes under preferences to allow for automatic downloads from other devices. It seems unrelated to home sharing. I unchecked the boxes under the "store" section and that appears to have taken care of the issue.

I assume you are facing this error on wireless USB adapter ... WUSB54GC .... uninstall the adapter from all programs >> unplug & replug the adapter >> Install the drivers using found new hardware >>

Imported files from my camera, a mixture of photos and videos, the videos (mp4 format on my Canon SX60 HS) always appear at the start of my library view. What am I missing here?

Even though I select sorting by capture time, the videos do not intersperse with the photos in chronological order. What am I missing here?
I have tried both putting them in a collection and viewing all pictures etc. to no avail.
In Windows Explorer, I have them sorted by time taken successfully. They all import into folders by date in "My Pictures", both photos and videos when I import them.
I am running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and LR5 CC edition.

I suspect that you installed an extension that hides some menu items thru user settable preferences.
