It is no where to be found on my phone but  its in the music player and i can still play the song it works fine. & ive tried everything i even took the memory card out of the phone while the phone was still on and even when i go into the music player without the memory card in it the song is still on my phone...
This always happened to my cousin who said me that song but she told me that it finally got rid of the song. But nothing is working for me.. And i am very frustrated ... Because i do not wish to have this song on my phone anymore...
Has this happened to anyone else??
And please if someone can help me out , please please let me know. And i really appreciate the help..

  • E61i help - Messages stuck in phone memory

I recently changed the setting on my e61i from saving messages to the phone memory to saving them on the memory card. The next step was moving the messages from the phone memory to the memory card.
Now I have about 3MB of messages stuck in the phone memory somehow and I have not been able to find them so that I can delete them. Would anyone happen to have any thoughts?
Also, if I have to resort to a hard reset, are settings saved when backing up to the memory card?
Thanks so much in advance, cheers.

    Hi there,
Have you tried changing the memory in use for messaging back to the phone memory under menu > messaging > options > settings > other > memory in use > phone memory.
Shouldn't it reflect the messages that are stored in the phone memory and thus enable you to delete them.
    Hope this helps
    Regards.

  • Help updating iPad to iOs6 - phone is jail broken and im stuck

Whether i update via iTunes or via Wifi the updated always fails after about 2 hours in.
How can i get around this, or remove the jailbrake and update?
Please help - im stuck in South Africa and people here arent to clued up about iPads!
    Thanks so much!

You state your iPad has been jailbroken, so we can't help you in this forum.
You may have "bricked" your iPad and now have an $$$ paper weight. Plus your Apple warranty has been voided and the Apple Genius Bar/Support will not help you.

  • Family shares an itunes account and ALL songs loaded on my phone with ios 7. how do I get only my songs?

My family shares an itunes account and ALL their songs loaded on my phone with ios 7 upgrade. Previously, while I could SEE songs "Not on this iPhone" they did not reside on my phone.  How do I get only my songs?  Do I have to sync with my computer?  Help...

This is sad, as I am replying to myself. Upon further review I see that while all songs are LISTED, that are not actually there.  By going to Settings - iTunes & App Store - "Show All" I was able to "turn off" SEEING purchases not made on my phone.  Solved my own problem, but the way it looks in IOS 7 is confusing.

  • Music is stuck on my phone

There are songs stuck on my iPhone 5. I have tried going into Settings and deleting all my music. I have tried syncing my music through iTunes, hoping that the automatic sync would delete them. The songs don't actually show up in the iTunes screen when I have my phone hooked up to the computer. When I swipe my finger across them on the phone, the red delete button does not show up, even though I've done this on other songs as an experiment and it worked just fine. When I tap on the songs, they do not play, instead they ask me to sign into someone else's apple ID (and, clearly, I do not have that password, nor do I want to sign in with someone else's apple ID). These are songs someone sent to me a long time ago on a burned CD. I've tried everything short of wiping my phone and using iCloud to restore it.
Recently, I had to have my phone replaced, so I used iCloud to put all my data onto the new phone. These songs were the only ones that were downloaded to my phone when I restored my data with iCloud. That's why I haven't tried wiping my phone and restoring with iCloud, because that's where the problem started.
(I don't know if this is relevant, but my phone now gets stuck on "syncing music" when I plug it into iTunes, even if I have it set to manually sync music.)
I want these songs gone from my phone. It seems like the only way to do it is to first log in with that other apple ID, which isn't mine. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to get these songs off my phone? And does anyone know why they somehow got stuck in my iCloud?

I had this same problem.  The only way i found to fix it is delete the songs from your cloud using your PC.  Then sync your phone to the cloud.  This should remove the song from the phone. You can choose to keep the file itself on the PC.

  • Songs are syncing to phone but some songs not showing in the playlist, you have to manually search for them...

    Hi guys,
All music is syncing across from my purchased items to my phone... However, some are missing from the 'purchased' playlist and I can only come across them when scrolling through the 'Artist' or 'Song' menu. I then have to manually add them back to my purchased playlist.
Is there any way to stop this?
I want all my 'purchased' songs in that playlist and then have all of my other music from CDs in their individual ones (which works fine).
This happens for about 5/6 every time and it's a nightmare trying to work out which ones are missing so to speak unless I stumble upon then.
So basically, the songs ARE on the phone but not showing in the playlist, just to make that clear.
    Many thanks in advance...

This sounds very similar to an issue that I experienced.  There was a phantom 6G assigned to movies even when no movies were on my iPad.  I could make the phantom 6G come and go by checking/unchecking the "Sync Movies" box in iTunes.
First, try a system reset.  It probably won't fix your problem but it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
There is one other thing that you can try but I don't want to describe it unless the above doesn't help.

  • After deleting my music (by mistake) I can't download all my songs back onto my phone

I accidently deleted all my music off my phone.
I plugged my phone into my laptop to sync all the songs back on the phone.
When i checked the phone certain songs haven't gone back on the phone. They can be played on the laptop but they wont sync over and when I press the cloud button on the phone (to re-download) it wont do it.
It seems to be songs that I downloaded on my phone directly that have been effected.
How do I get the songs back onto my phone without buying them again
    Please help!!

The other disadvantage to manually managing that I see is that if you ever have to Restore the iPhone (and you will someday) you'll have to remember which songs you had previously loaded when you get the iPhone up and running.  Restoring your backup won't put these songs back onto your iPhone.
But if you define what you want on your iPhone with one or more playlists in your library, and then auto-sync to those playlists, then they're always available and you don't have to re-create anything should you ever need to Restore.  You'll still have to re-load them, but at least you don't have to try to figure out what you had loaded before.
The other issue with manually managing is that you lose the bi-directional sync of ratings and play history.  It sounds like it used to work with the iPhone (unlike every other i-device) but it appears that functionality is no longer supported.  But if you auto-sync to a playlist, etc. then you always keep this information backed up to iTunes.

  • How to upload a song from the i phone to itunes match

how to upload a song from the i phone to itunes match

    Hi Chandrapp,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! I understand that you want to upload a song from your iPhone to iTunes Match. Local songs on your iPhone will not be uploaded to iCloud, you will need to transfer that song into your iTunes Library on your computer and upload it to the iCloud from there. The information can be found in the following article.
iTunes Store: Subscribing to iTunes Match
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4914
When you subscribe to iTunes Match from an iOS device, your local tracks will not be matched or uploaded to iCloud. You will need to sign in with your Apple ID from a computer in order to match and upload your local music library.
    Hope this helps,
    -Joe

  • Songs stuck on iPhone

I can't remove 50 songs from my iPhone.
I have deselected "sync music" and I can't manually remove songs that are stuck on my iPhone. After delselecting to sync music, I reselected it and have checked Playlists, artist, albums, and genres and NOTHING is selected under any of those sections. I checked below and the "manually added music" was blank as well. I have restarted the iPhone, and have too many songs stuck to slide and delete all of them. ALL software is up to date, running 5.1 on the iPhone and 10.6 V. iTunes. I have checked other forums and have done everything I can possibly think of to remove these songs.
    HELLLLP!!! Thank you.

Have you tried deselecting Sync Music on the Info tab followed by syncing to remove all your music.  Then reselect Sync Music and syncing to sync it all back to your phone?  Also, confirm that on the Summary tab you have checked "Sync only checked songs and videos" and have unchecked "Manually manage songs and videos".

I have an iPhone 4 32GB (black)and it's already out of contract so I think it's eligible to unlock as well.
Could you please help me to unlock my phone so I can use it with other carriers in other countries. I'll appreciate for your response.
    My IMEI numbers is: 012427009166282
My hardware serial numbers is: 86025A71A4T
Please let me know if you could help me out. Thanks again.

ONLY the carrier to which it is locked can unlock it.  no one else.
Contact that carrier and ask if they offer this service and if you qualify
You should not leave your iphone information on a public forum.

I received an Iphone 5 as a gift two days ago. The first thing I did was set up ICloud for photos. Itunes would not allow me to add songs to my new phone without restoring it, yet when I did this, it deleted all 129 photos of my graduation and friends from the past two days. And I cannot find them anywhere, photo stream, ICloud, nothing. Where can I get back my memories?

Were the photos taken by your new iPhone?  If so, did you not import them off your phone to your computer (as you would any other digital camera) before the restore?  If not, restoring wiped the data off the phone and your pictures are gone.
Sounds like a good time to (re)read the User Guide.

Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to  one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).
    Thanks again, Sandra2474.

    Hi Gregg,
Have you tried resetting the device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if your Music app is behaving normally.
    Cheers,
