Help! suitable marker not found

Hello- I get an error that says "Suitable marker can not be found in the required layer". I'm using DVDSP 4, creating a dual layer dvd, set my break point as Automatic, and building my project as an .img. I have 5 separate tracks in the dvd. Any help?

Hi pnicolas,
Welcome aboard.
Suitable marker is in fact a place for the layer break. Unforunatly DVDSP at this stage doesn't offer you places where a marker could be placed.
The manual has some detail on approximating how to locate this position. But it does require you placing a marker in that position. And in this case you don't have a chapter marker in an eligible position.
If you are not so sure on the technique. Then you can estimate where you think the half way point in the project is either via a bit budget or using half way point of all your tracks etc. And then placing a liberal dose of markers in the area and do a test build to see if you get past your dialogue box.
Cheers

    How to use IDEDemo.jar ?
    1. unjar the .jar file hsjar/idehelp.jar.
    2. run command "java -jar hsviewer.jar" in the JH_HOME/demos/bin directory.
    3. select idehelp.hs file from the hsviewer dialog.

  • Customizing EBS Oracle Help - "404 File Not Found" Default page

    All,
I am wondering if someone could explain to me how the Oracle EBS Application Help works.  For example, we have a custom form where we do not have a Help Page defined for the form so it sends me to a default page that says the following:
    "404 NOT FOUND"
An error occurred while retrieving Oracle Applications Help information.
Help target US/********* could not be found.
My question is, when I clicked the Help icon, what happens after this?  It would typically find the correct Lang/Application/Form and reference a page within that directories APPL_TOP/help directory.  But when the page is not found something knows to send it to the specific oracle default 404 Not Found page.  Anyone know how this happens?
Forgot to mention I am running on EBS R12.
    Thanks for any help!

  • IPhoto Library - Images marked: "not found"

    Hi
All my macBook info was recently transferred to my new iMac when I  purchased it.  I added Lion to it from the website.
Now I've discovered that all the images in my iPhoto library are marked as "not found" - yikes!
Pulling up iPhoto all the images appear to be there, but when you open an event, each of the photo's are gray-flagged.
When I click to open it, I get the message that the image is 'not found', and have the options to "cancel', 'find' or 'ok'.
None of the options resolves the problem.
Hoping that all is not lost, how can I retrieve my library?
    Thanks,
    Kent

do I have to have the 'original' image to be able to find/open it?
    Yes.
Are you running a Managed or a Referenced Library?
A Managed Library, is the default setting, and iPhoto copies files into the iPhoto Library when Importing. The files are then stored in the Library package
A Referenced Library is when iPhoto is NOT copying the files into the iPhoto Library when importing because you made a change at iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced. (You unchecked the option to copy files into the Library on import) The files are then stored where ever you put them and not in the Library package. In this scenario you are responsible for the File Management.
This is an attractive option for some users at face value, but it contains a significant number of issues that you might want to consider before making the decision to run a Referenced Library
    How to do it:
iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced and uncheck the box at 'Copy items to the iPhoto Library'
Now when you import iPhoto makes an alias in the Library Package that points to the stored file. Note: iPhoto still creates a thumbnail of the image and it makes a Preview of edited photos inside the Library Package.
    Issues?
    1. You are responsible for file management. That's more work:
You must first move the files from your camera to the storage location before importing.
If you want to delete files then you must first trash them from iPhoto and then afterwards find them in your storage and trash them.
Thereafter, you cannot move the files on early versions of iPhoto at all, on iPhoto 08 and later you may move them on the same Volume or Disk. If you move them to a new volume or disk the aliases my break. If they are on an different volume and you move them the aliases will break.
    You cannot rename the files.
Migrating: moving to a new machine, moving the files to another disk are all a lot more complex.
    2. You gain no extra functionality from running a Referenced Library. Nothing. This is just storage. You still manage the files via iPhoto. You edit them with iPhoto or via iPhoto's External Editor setting, otherwise you're changes will not be available in iPhoto. You don't save  byte of storage space.
    3.  If you have the Library on one volume and the photos on another you if anything changes in the path to a file (Like if you upgrade your machine, move the files on the NAS or on to another one?) then the alias will break, and you'll have to repair it manually. For every photo in the Library. One at a time.
Why do you want to run a Referenced Library?
Because my photos won't fit on my HD?
You can run a Managed library from an external disk. Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
    1. Quit iPhoto
    2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
    3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
    4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
You're worried about accessing the files?
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto:   You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps.  If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later:  You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation  which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
    Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
Show File:  a. On iPhoto 09 and earlier:  Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.    3.b.
b: On iPhoto 11 and later: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.

  • Help! 'Page not found error' when use the word 'account' on my web page!

I have encountered the weirdest problem when making some changes to my website.
When adding text within the <p></p> tags  everything is fine until I type the word 'account' or 'accounts' then I get a 'page not found' error.
Any other text can go between those tags, only the word 'account' causes the problem.
    Any ideas?
(I am using Dreamweaver MX 2004 and its a PHP page)
I am so confused on this one, so any help would be much appreciated!
    Thanks.

http://www.reformationassociates.com/ - This is the website, the weirdest part is, it is only happening on pages after they have been opened through Dreamweaver, so it's only once I access them that the problem occurs, I dont have to make any changes, just open them and they suddenly show up as 'page not found'.
http://www.reformationassociates.com/archive/Pinnacle.php is one of the pages that was accessed yesterday via Dreamweaver and we have had to change the word to 'acct' to stop the 'page not found' error.
Afriad I dont know what SSI files are? sorry....
    Thanks.

The path for my package "usingjsp" is c:\jdk13~1.1\jakart~1.3a\webapps\examples\web-inf\classes\usingjsp

However, the compiler would not let me compile because it says ";" expected at web-inf (I think the hyphen is not allowed). Is there any other solution?
Thanks and sorry to bother you again!

  • Suitable JVM not found

    hi,
i was trying to install "Sun Java[tm] Studio Standard 5 update 1" when an error occured:
"a suitable JVM could not be found". i have JDK5.0 and JRE1.5.1.0_02. i tried to poiint to the <JAVA HOME DIR> but it doesn't work. what shall i do?
    thanx.

Have you tried manually installing the JRE version supported by the exact version of P6 you are running?
For P6v7 I believe it should be 1.6 Update 14

  • A specific web site does not load properly. I have looked through java help, firewall help and have not found a solution.

The web site www.everbank.com has been updated. It has a 3 panel display in the top half that rotates through the three offerings and you can pause it if you wish. It does not display on Firefox. I am using 19.0.2 and it says it is up to date. Everbank has looked into and it displays correctly for them and it displays correctly for me on IE9. I inadvertantly have the beta version of Mozilla (19.2) on my desktop and the web page displays correctly there. I have cleared the cache, looked at firewall settings (Windows 7) and have added Mozilla. Nothing has helped.

It works for me as long as JavaScript is enabled. If it's not enabled, I get a jumble of text as the 3 slides are superimposed on one another. Do you just get a blank area?
Since you cleared your cache, out of data pages, style sheet, and scripts shouldn't be a factor. Could you also clear your cookies for the site? While viewing a page on the site:
    * right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    * Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Remove the everbank cookies individually there, then try reloading the page. Does that make any difference?
When you compared with the beta version of Firefox, were you running with the identical settings folder, i.e., same bookmarks, settings, and add-ons? I'm guessing there might be a difference.
To check for potential add-on conflicts, try disabling ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions here, then restart Firefox:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
    Any luck?

  • Reading need help though Class not found

Hi, I normally search the forums before posting but I need some points cleared up
What version of JDK does IE ship with? Since the depricated size().getHeight() is only supported and not the newer version.
This isnt my real question though. MY applet which only uses a canvas, hashmap, arraylist, sockets and a couple of other things does not work :-(
IE claims it cannot find the HASHMAP class. Ive used full qualifers shown below and the html called. Can someone tell me how to solve this problem pls?
I have also read about using a .JAR file with all my bits in it. How do i create this and use it?
    Thanks people

The plugin is in fact a virtual machine that runs your applet. When a browser hits a page that requires use of a plugin that's not installed yet, there will be a prompt to download it. Once it's installed the plugin will take control and load your classes from the internet and the load the API classes you need from its own rt.jar, located locally. The only slowdown may be the initial bringing up of the VM.
Also note that the latest versions of many browsers like opera and netscape begin to ship with the plugin; no need to download anything.
Can I not package up the classes in my own JAR?Of course you can, but there may be some legal points that I'm not aware of... In total, the plugin would be the best solution for everyone (you're not the only one writing applets, are you :) but because of its download size your users may appreciate you extracting the needed few kilos from rt.jar ;)

  • DTW HELP FILE IS NOT FOUND

I HAVE UPGRADED THE DTW PACKAGE.
BUT STILL I AM UNABLE TO SEE THE DTW HELP FILE.

  • ITunes help topics not found.

ITunes help topics are not found. Particulars are below. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Using new Macbook Pro purchased in April 2012, Lion 10.7.3, iTunes 10.6.1 (7), all software updated, connected to Internet using PPOE.
    1. When I select iTunes -> Help -> Search and type in 'playlist', one of the options is 'Playlist overview'. The Help Center window opens with a spinner by the Search Help input box. No topic ever appears.
This happens for any topic selected.
    2. When I select iTunes -> Help -> Show All Help topics (with 'playlist' still in the Search box), the Help Center opens and there are three Results from: sections in the window. They are iTunes Help (12), All Other Help (11), and Product Support (10).
One of the iTunes Help options is 'Playlist overview'. When I click this, the Help Center window returns an error message: "The selected topic is currently unavailable. The topic you were trying to find could not be found."
This same error message appears if I click on any of the topics in this section. In fact, all of the topics under all of the sections return this same message.

It seems others have this problem: https://discussions.apple.com/message/13095804#13095804
It also seems that others are not getting any support from this community. As a new Mac user, I am very sad. I have been a Linux user for many years and am used to a huge and helpful support community. Nor have I gotten any meaningful support from Apple, itself. Not what I exptected.
It is very interesting to me that iTunes and its help works just fine on Microsoft Windows Xp and Vista but not on a brand-new out of the box Macbook Pro.

  • Driver class not found?

I'm using Java SE 6 and NetBeans 5.5, and I'm trying to connect to a JavaDB database that I created through NetBeans, but when I try to load the driver using Class.forName("org.apache.derby.jdbc.EmbeddedDriver") I get a ClassNotFoundException. The same thing happens when I try to use ClientDriver instead of EmbeddedDriver. And, when I right-click that driver in the Runtime pane and select Connect Using. . . I get the same error ("suitable driver not found"). Maybe I'm missing something extremely obvious, but I can't for the life of me figure out what it is. I've scoured all of the tutorials I can find on Sun's website, gone through various books on Java and databases, uninstalled and reinstalled all of my Java-related software, even tried different syntax, but I still can't get it to work.
Any thoughts? I'm sorry in advance if this is a dumb question or it's already been answered, but I've been wracking my brain on this for a couple days now and it's starting to drive me a little crazy. . .

The class needs to be in your RUNTIME classpath so that the class loader can find it. I emphasized runtime because this important point seems to miss some people.
At any rate, your drivers are not in your runtimer classpath. Hence the error message.

  • JavaHelp problem... IdeHelp not found

I'm trying to run the demo program that came with JavaHelp 2, in JBuilder 10.
after setting the project property and all, the demo starts and the error message "Help Set IdeHelp not found" appears. I tried to place th IdeHelp file at the project's folder but that did not help. I guess that the problem is with the classpath, but I can't get it right.
    share your thoughts, thanks
    Assaf

can u post your code here; or at least the code that creates the helpset object and gets the helpset and the help broker.
    thanks
