HeLp!!! The earlier version of Fifefox supports "Live Connect" but the 3.6 doesn't. I need to downgrade my FireFox to an earlier version for my online classes. I'm desperate because I was supose to start class 10 days ago and cant. Please, help....
I looked in Firefox properties to find what I Firefox i am using and it shows the following:
The Firefox File version is: 1.9.2.3951
The File Name is: 1.9.2.12
The Product Version is: 3.6.12
My problem is this: The company I work for "Prudential R.E." has online training courses. I can't access it because I get the following message: "You cannot play the learn 2 course content with this version of netscape" because it has no live connect support"
The training center for Prudential told me this: ""Currently the LearnCenter does not support Firefox 3.6 but does support the
earlier versions and this could be the issue.""
How do I get the earlier version of Firefox?
And if I can get the earlier version of Firefox. "How do I fix this problem? Do I uninstall all of Firefox and then reinstall the earlier version if I can get access to a download of it somewhere?

I am trying to get my computer to print on HPC310. It was working until 2 days ago and then stopped working. I uninstalled the HP software thinking I could just reinstall and it would help but I cannot now install that software from the disk. I have been using iTunes for over 10 years, and I have NEVER had this problem occur (repeatedly, all day long, every day). I have seen this error occur on occassion, but not consistently as it has been for the last 10 days. This is really getting me frustrated and quite upset, as there does not seem to be any reason for this error to be occurring. My internet connection is active (or I would not be able to list this here). I have gone through ALL of the troubleshooting topics, and nothing has worked to correct this problem.
I have uninstalled iTunes completely (as well as ALL supporting software, etc.) and reinstalled the program at least 10 times over the past 10 days. NOTHING IS WORKING as far as getting iTunes to "contact (or connect to) the radio tuning service".
Does anyone know what is causing this problem? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Please respond to me privately at [email protected]
Thank you.It has not been working for me on any platform, any OS, anwhere since about last Friday. It has been reported many many times on this forum so I can only assume it's a known issue that will be fixed in time.
Interestingly some genres work, for instance Classical and Blues work but most others don't. I thought it was Apple's attempt to force some taste upon us but then I noticed sports radio works too. So much for that idea.
Also, if you have the playlist saved somewhere that still works too. It's only the "radio tuning service" that's borked.
By the way it's not a good idea to post your email address here, Apple Support Communities is secure from spambots but why tempt fate. -
I Have an iPad mini ios 8.02 with retina screen from 3 days ago email asks for iCloud ID every time I press icon for new message/reply. Although I can press cancel and still write message. This is most annoyin. Any solutions
For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

I found I could not open my email within hotmail. Hotmail itself works in IE and Google Chrome so I know it is FF. I can open the account but not individual emails nor can I delete junk mail. Nothing within the hotmail window seems to work.
This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

Why is my iPhoto 9.5.1 blocked?
Message on pop up screen says I need the Library Upgrader tool, when in the very discription of it: "If your library is from iPhoto (v8.x) or later, you don't need to use this tool."What version of iPhoto did you have prior to upgrading to iPhoto 9.5.1? The following is from this download page: iPhoto Library Upgrader 1.1
This tool prepares libraries from iPhoto 7 or earlier so they can be upgraded with the current version of iPhoto.
So if you previous version of iPhoto was 7 or earlier you need to download (it installs in the Applications/Utilities folder), launch and apply it to your iPhoto Library before opening the library with iPhoto 9.5.1.

It sounds like she may have enabled VoiceOver on the machine. Go to System Preferences, then click on Universal Access. Check to see if VoiceOver is turned on, and if so turn it off and see if that resolves the issue.

Please see question above, but also note, I have the Applecare Protection Plan but am unable to get through to anyone on a weekend and I desperately need to use my laptop this weekend. I can't log in at all now as I've forgotten my admin password. A few weeks ago I also changed the password on my husband's new MacBook Pro and again forgot the password. I spoke to someone at Apple and they helped me to reset it within minutes, by restarting the computer holding Command+something else (I can't remember what it was). A black screen with writing came up and I had to type in something like "password" (not sure exactly). Anyway, this was a very quick and efficient process but I didn't write it down unfortunately. When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow
instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

I want to change my region and everytime it says my itunes match subscription is active. I disabled the auto renewal without any success!! I even called apple support that promised me to call within 2 hours, that was 10 days ago!! Any help??

I just got my MacBook a few days ago and I was tired of the galaxy picture so I changed it to a color since I didn't have photos at that time well now I have photos and whenever I change my background it changes back to the color after I start it up again.
You are still under warranty. Call Apple tech support and let them deal w/it.
You have 14 days to return the computer w/no questions asked. Plus you have 90 days of FREE phone tech support on top of your standard 1 year warranty unless you also purchased AppleCare which gives you an additional 2 years of coverage plus FREE phone support.
Strongly suggest that you take FULL advantage of the above before it runs out. Let Apple deal w/the problems. -
I cannot install the latest version of iTunes as it instructed me to uninstall the version I had, which I did, but the "Apple mobile device support" will not uninstall. This has left me with no iTunes and the new version will not install until I can uninstall all the old components. Help please
You could try downloading and installing 7-Zip (free) and downloading a fresh copy of the iTunesSetup.exe installer, unpack the installer into its components using 7-Zip then try installing AppleApplicationSupport again. It may still fail to install but you may get more useful error messages as to why not.

I was able to print from adobe digital editions up to two days ago and now I do not have the option to print. The "Print" option is greyed out. Please help.
Printing Expiry option might be set by the Publisher at server level. Right click on the book and select Item Info to know about the book permission.
