Hi, I can't make my laptop wireless using the Linksys router. Linksys Live Chat walked me through most of the installation of the WRT54GS. I got right up to the part where he said disconnect the cable from the back of my laptop. I was afraid it would disconnect my computer, and it did! I haven't had time to go back to Live Chat. I have the wireless card installed, I have the router software installed and thought I had the wiring hooked up just like the pictures. The router's little lights are blinking fine. I just can't unplug my computer from the cable! Any very simple advice would be appreciated! Lin Lee
Does your wireless network show up when you search for available networks? Is your network secured and do you know its security key? What is operating system on your computer?

How can I play my ipod classic 30 G thru my home stereo system? The guy at Radio Shack sold me an adapter for the older, larger headphone adapter on my stereo receiver with an ipod attachment on the other end. It doesn't work. Do I need to make special settings on the ipod? Should it work? I read elsewhere that I need a Y connector. Thanks for any help.
The headphone jak on your stereo is an output, not an input. You cannot route music into your stereo throughthe headphone jack.

My imessages worked on minute and the next it would stop working so I updated to ios7. Now it does not work at all. Now I am unable to do any back up on this phone. What else can I try?

Firefox 5.0 quickly uses 256,000+ of memory and becomes slow enough to use 60% of a twin-code processor and fails to respond for many, many minutes (10 mins +). It is often quicker to kill it ans start again, but this is a pain as I can have up to 4 /5 tabs open.

I had to report an shady Imessage to the police. I tryed to find a way to save or send it for evidence when when needed. there doesn't seem to be a way. I was able to save the photo this nut sent me. You've heard a picture is whorth a thousand words. The photo was a hand holding a pistol with their hand on the triger. they spoke in launage I could not translate. I tryed to translate it in google traslate and wouldn't work. I have PSD. my younger sister was shot to death with a handgun back in 1987. So this kind of photo said something to me and it was very frightening to me. I reported it to the police. In future updates I would to Apple create a way to save an imessage for matters such as these. Thank you very much.

You can easily take a screenshot of the Messages screen.
Hold down the home button and briefly tap the on/off switch. That will save an image with exactly what you can see on the screen into your Camera Roll. -
I enjoyed many News/Talk Radio options, including NPR stations around the country, on my Apple TV until recently. Recently during their fund drive Michigan Radio announced that their bandwidth was changing and AppleTv users would have to go to the itunes store to get the free app enabling NPR. Can't find the free app or anything about apps for AppleTV. Please help. Also, is there an easy way to get audiobooks to play on iphone4s?
There are no apps specifically for Apple TV. You just go to the app store and download the app to your IOS device and use airplay to stream to Apple TV.

I have dozens of legacy BB 8310 curves that I'm trying to configure for staff. Email has been set up fine but I can't for the life of me figure out how to sync contacts from gmail.
I know Google Sync is no longer available, but we don't use Outlook so I have no idea how to have my staff sync all their contacts from Gmail accounts.
Please anyone give me some help here...have researched for hours and I can't figure it out.

As you can see, the device software version you are using is too old for this function.
As far as I can tell, OS development for the 8310 may have stopped in the 4.x range...but it's hard to know for certain. You can dig, carrier by carrier, through the official download portal to find carriers that still support the 8310 and that will reveal to you the exact OS's that are available for it:

I just want to know how to sync my music from my apple id onto my new account on the family computer. Currently itunes warns that the computer is already linked to an account and if i proceed then no music can by auto downloaded or downloaded for 90 days. My issue is that it is a different account then the main account so i do not understand why..
Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

Exported file is half the size that FCPX said it would be
I'm making a movie montage, project properties are as follows:
1280x720p
25 fps
48 kbps audio bit rate
Using the Export File option, the settings match what's above, with H.264 being the codec (format is quicktime). It says the file size will be 482 MB, but when I export, the resulting file is 209mb. The picture quality isn't that good, because the bitrate is half what it should be. Why is this happening?Sorry, for some reason I was unaware there was an "Export File" option. Unless I am using special Compressor presets, I usually use "Master File".
I have just done a quick test and the estimated size was 207MB whilst the finished video was 138MB.
However the quality is perfect and the actual size is the correct one for the ideal bitrate.
Frequently the estimated size is way off the mark.

I had downloaded IOS6 due to a friend being curious and The message telling me what would be gained. The part where it said I would gain Siri intrigued me so I installed it and I dont see any compatability or can even find Siri... Any resons to why???
PS... I hate the update...I am pretty sure you read it wrong. The update notes probably mentioned Siri on iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, "The new" iPad, and the 5th Generation iPod Touch.

Why does is not show the radio buttons
I want to display the buttons in a row then radio button in a row under the button and then log scroll pane under the radio buttons. This is my code:

This is my problem. We have a big system that produce lots of log files and the software testers have to manually have to go through the logs file and look for a certain XML tags in the log file.
What I want to do is help the software testers my developing a small tool that will allow them to open a log file and then click on a radio button corresponding to a xml tags that they are looking for and automatically highlight the tags in the file in yellow color .
I am not sure how feasible this is and I am stuck.
