Help to Configure WF mailer notification

Hi gurus,
We configure the approval through mail with help of oracle document ID, after we configure system not generate the mail notification to user.Please help us to configure in my instance.

Hi, the notification mailer and the components are managed via oc4j, you can check if the processes of the containers are up? (Component Container or Management Container), if not, start them using:
${ORACLE_HOME}/jdk/bin/java
-Djava.security.properties=${ORACLE_HOME}/oc4j/j2ee/home/config/jazn.security.props -jar ${ORACLE_HOME}/oc4j/j2ee/home/oc4j.jar -userThreads -config ${ORACLE_HOME}/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_Workflow_Component_Container/config/server.xml

But I add some,only the company SMTP servers can be used,others cannot receive notification emails. What else should i configure?Can portal send emails to multiple domains ?

How to configure new mail notification?

Hi,
I want to set up SAP so that when a user receives a new mail in his/her SAP-mail inbox the system sends a notification to that user's email-adress (smtp-address) so that the notification will appear in Outlook. How can I do this?

I am new to Oracle Workflow ,Can anyone provide me with the steps to configure Workflow Mailer Notification ? I have already referred to some metalink notes but they are not proving to be of much help.

How to configure mail notification on a folder content change?

Hello,
I would like to configure a mail notification whenever a certain folder's content changes. In order to acomplish this I did the following:
1. Configured new email Channel with the exchange address.
2. Assigned this channel to the Notificator service.
3. Subscribed to the requested folder with "Every Event".
The problem is that I don't receive mail notifications on change. What am I doing wrong or missing here?

Hi,
Don't use exchange.... use an SMTP hostname if you have access to one!
It is a lot easier as all you need is the hostname of the SMTP server without having to worry about authorizations.

Configuration receiving mails with attached adobe forms from BPM

System: CE7.20 SP2
Hi,
I am using Adobe Forms in SAP NW BPM. Therefore I have to configure the Mail, Notification Messages, and Forms Services described [here|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce72/helpdata/en/e4/32ff7865fa483dba3686160f5c6dd0/content.htm].
To get this running at "Java System Properties - Applications - tcbpembase~ear"
I have to configure the mailbox which receives this adobe forms but actually I can not apply a mailbox from the exchange admin! That's always a very big bureaucratic effort, if you know what I mean
Do anybody of you have some experience how this could be solved in a big concern scenario with running exchange?

Dear All,
I want to configure E-Mail Notification in Portal. Requirement is to send Mail top end user When the end user's User ID is Created,Locked,Unlocked.
I have configured it like in System Admin -> UME Configuration -> Notification EMail. But Still I am not able to Send EMail. Is there any configuration which needs to be done from my end.

While configuration of Emails through portal one thing is to be made sure that the SMTP server that you configure for e-mail notification accepts e-mails from and sends e-mails to all domains that users may have in our environment. It is especially important that administrators have an e-mail address that the STMP server accepts.
Now the second step is configuration., hope u have finished it . Final step is, After changing settings using the configuration tool, you must restart the Java application server for the changes to take effect.

We can either use UWL for the same.
There is one connector that should installed .Once it is installed users will be able to view the notifications in the universal worklist and in outlook as well as forwarding the notifications or deleting them.
The other option would be to use Email services through SMTP. Pls chk this link.

Charm:multiple recipients for mail notification

Hi Experts,
I'm using Charm and I configured the mail notification when a new change request is created.
I would know if Is it possible to setup multiple e-mail addresses for the mail notification.
I follow these steps:
- transaction BP
- selected the specific BP
- selected the tab page "Address"
- selected the field "E-Mail"
- selected the button "Other E-Mail adresses (Available)"
- put three mail adresses
Now if I send the mail notifaction to this BP the mail is send only to one user.
Can any one help me to resolve this issue?

Hi Jason,
I have created the shared distribution list in the solution manager but when I try to put It in the field "E-mail" in the BP the following error appear:
E-Mail format not valid
It seems that It's not possible to insert the distribution list in the E-Mail field of the BP.
Any other idea?

I have installed MPE 2.1 and Domino e-mail server 8.0. I can not send e-mail notifications with Domino. Someone can help me, plase?

Make sure you have configured it properly following the documentation. After that perform a manual SMTP transacation from the command line and see how Domino reacts.

Need Help in configuring workflow Notification Mailer with IMAP

Hi,
i've configured the notification mailer successfully with SMTP and it's working fine , users can receive mail notifications but the INBOUND processing doesn't work.
i've created a new mail account on the IMAP server (Outlook 2007), but when configure the Notification mailer from OAM it gives me the following error:
Unable to connect to the mail account. Check the host, user name and password.
i tried many documents from the web but till know i can't have a solution for this issue.
EBS version : 11.5.10.2
Please note that i don't have access to MetaLink.
please help if you have any suggestions.

How to make sure alert mailer notification is active/configured

Dear,
we are on 11.5.10, as we have configured workflow mailer and notifications is being send by test mailer button. After being confirmed this, we have created a test alert as event base under the alert responsibility having a base table is FND_USER which work only update but still email is not being send on the specified email address which mentioned on the same table.
pls advice.

Can anyone help me with the problem I have with my e-mail notification sounds. I have checked all notificaion profiles are set to on but my phone still does not give me an alert. Anyone have any ideas? I am also trying to set one of my saved sounds in my music to e-mail alerts and am struggling. I would appreciate any help
