Help to detect WRT54GX v2.0 jtag pins?

Help to specify the 12-pin header of WRT54GX v2.0
I hooked up the 12-pin same as the WRT54G 12-pin header but the cpu is not detected by the last Tjtag.
Henrik Khodaverdi

So you have connected the 12 Pin Header from the Router to the Computer? Make sure the 12Pin header connection specific are as same as of the WRT54GX v2... I think the Pin specification are different thats the reason when you connect the connecter to the computer your computer is unable to recognize the Router..

    Your's may look more like this...
    ...if you're running Mountain Lion. I'm in clamshell mode right now, so I don't have any mirroring options. AFAIK, there's no more "Show displays in menu bar" in Mountain Lion.

    You need to refresh the page (F5) to update the items in the download menu. Apparently YouTube refreshes the page in such a way that the extension doesn't gets notified, so you need to refresh the page manually if you want to download a media file from this page.

  • Help! "find my mac" BUG: UNLOCKing PIN NOT working

    Help me please,
    i've got this big problem.
    I needed to try to lock my
    MacBook Pro (15", 2.4/2.2 10 with Lion installed)
    via iCloud "find my mac".
    I did it in remote with my iPod Touch app "find iPhone".
    It worked (unfortunately). First it located my mac in the right place, then i tried to lock it.
    It asked to choose a 6 digit PIN, then asked it again.
    And so my powerBook really locked.
    Now i expected it would reboot with a request for my PIN (i saw that screenshot in many web sites), but no...!
    My mac just shows a neutral screen with a blinking folder icon with a "?" in center...
    i tried  command + "s"
    command + "r"
    "t"
    other otions on restart but... no way, the firmware seems to be locked and i don't know how to unlock it
    It seems a BIG BUG for iCloud "find my mac"
    any other had heard about similar cases, or could find a solution?
    thanks in advance

    Right answer, thanks a lot, you really saved me, i had a hurry-job to do for monday.
    I thought i had already tried that way, but it seems i didn't...
    now i just wonder why it's a mandatory pass to unlock you mac and it's not advised anywhere...
    by the way, thanks again.
    Ciao,

    ps
    i was so happy about your right answer that i was going to say goodbye to you with an "I love you",

  • Need help on detecting disks

    Hi.
    I've built a couple of computers before, but this is my first with SATA.
    I've assembled it togehter and booted it, but when WinXP Home is running its install-procedure it doesn't detect any HDD's..
    I'd like the Raptor to be my Windows-only disk, and the Caviar to everything else. How do I get WinXP install to detect the drives? How do I configure the BIOS correct (BTW: I also get the message NO BIOS INSTALLED or simular on every boot)
    Thanx in advance for any help.

    The problem was (I think) that I had the drives connected to one set of SATA-plugs on the mainboard, and the oposite settings in BIOS. When going through the BIOS and set wiring on the mainboard one more time, I discoverd the error.
    Booted again, and it worked.
    The windows setting regarding loading drivers from the floppy was never the problem, but when windows had done that it still did'nt find the drives.
    anyways ... problem solved - case closed.
    Call me a newbie if you want, but it was very late here in Norway (01:30 am I think) and I was very tired - and did'nt see the problem right away. :-)
    Glad that a forum like this was at hand.

  • How do logos make it to the app tab when you pin them. Some sites do, some don't . Good for small businesses to know, also helps me know which sites I've pinned. Currently most are a piece of paper at the top, not a logo. Thanks.

    I've pinned several sites so far. Netzero has a nice logo, the others do not, which makes it hard to tell which sites at first glance. I do think smaller businesses would also benefit from understanding how to design their website so their logo ends up on a pinned tab.

  • Need help with counters on PCI 6221 (37 pin)

    Hi all,
    I have a system with a PCIe 1429 connected to a Basler A504 camera and a I use a clock generator (SRS CG635) set at 3.9 kHz to trig the image acquisition.
    On the same system I need to add a PCI 6221 37
    pin to acquire :
    - 2 AI at 39 kHz, synchronized with the image acquisition. (10 AI sample for each image)
    - 1 counter to measure a frequency
    Since the accuracy of my 3.9 kHz clock is much higher than what I have on the DAQ board, I figured a nice option would be to have a retriggerable DAQmx task that generates 10 pulses at 39 kHz for each pulse received from the clock and then use this to trigger the DAQmx AI task.
    Of course this can only work if the "trigger" sources that I define for these two tasks don't take the two counters I have on the board.
    So let's describe the DAQmx tasks :
    - here's the one that generate the 39 kHz on counter 0, from the 3.9 kHz that I input as a trig source on PFI 4
     - here is the analog input task for which I set the trigger on PFI 6.
    Question is : can I "softwarely" tell the board to route the output counter (Ctr0) to PFI 6? And if yes, how?
    Thanks in advance for any help!
    When my feet touch the ground each morning the devil thinks "bloody hell... He's up again!"
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Sorry, no can do on the counters.  The M-series boards would use up both counters for the task of generating a finite pulse train so there'd be no counters left for freq measurement.  From what I've read, the newer X-series boards only use 1 counter for finite pulse trains (and also have 4 total available.)
       FWIW and for future reference, software routing of signals *will* work though there are some restrictions on which signals can be routed to where.  The M-series boards are generally very flexible though, and you can double check the routing options in MAX.  Also, in general, there's no particular problem running 2 tasks of the type you proposed simultaneously.  Note though that the term "trigger" has a more specific meaning in LabVIEW-land than it may have in normal life.  Here you were using the counter output as an "external sample clock" which is distinct from using it as a trigger.  Triggers initiate tasks, then sample clocks cause samples to be taken during them.
    Anyway, here's a possible workaround which doesn't require you to generate any counter pulses, so you can perform your freq measurement and still have a spare counter left over.
    1. Configure your AI task to use the external 3.9 kHz signal directly as its sample clock.
    2. Also configure your AI task so that the channel list contains at least 10 duplicates of each of your 2 AI channels, along the lines of "ai0,ai0,ai0,...ai1,ai1,ai1,..."   Or you could alternate them back and forth if you want.  You'll have to trade off the importance of the time difference between the two AI channels vs. the risk of the crosstalk-like effect from mux'ing back and forth on each sample.  Myself, I'd probably make a channel list with 12 dupes of ai0 followed by 12 dupes of of ai1 and later ignore the first 2 conversions on each channel just to be more sure the ADC has settled after muxing between them.
    3. Finally configure your AI task to use a specific timing for its "convert" or "channel" clock.  Since the timebase for your AI board is independent of the more accurate external 3.9 kHz clock, you should err on the side of caution.  For example, supposing you were going to take exactly 20 scans within each sample interval, I'd pick a convert clock rate that's a bit higher than the apparent minimum of 20x3.9kHz=78 kHz.  Probably something in the 80-100 kHz realm.

  • Help, i keep losing my wife's pin at night

    Help!!!! This is frustrating. Anyway, my name is Anton. My wife and I has just replace my wife's Javelin 8900. We bought a new Pearl 9105 as a replacement, but not directly. My Onyx 9700 became my wife's and I use the new Pearl. According to a friend the migration procedure was incorrect, meaning the correct migration process is my Onyx data needs to be transfered to Pearl first then my wife's Javelin data transfered to Onyx. It was the other way around. Now, my wife and I have a strange problem. Every morning my wife found my bbm contact icon always disappears. This is an everyday thing now, so I keep reinviting her every morning. Here are the list of possible that we tried but failed to correct it: - register to bis on internet to register the imei and pin - deactivate remote backup (email) - delete local back up and deactivate automatic backup - reformat both blackberry units - delete linked blackberry pin in contacts - deactivate auto on/off - sending service book We've brought both units to a blackberry store, the technician said that there's nothing he can do. We're running out of idea and this problem drove us nuts. No other contacts in bbm disappeared, only my contact in bbm on my wife's Onyx. Please help, anybody. Please!

    Hey Mantons,
    Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    It sounds like you have a corrupt BBM database.
    Go into BlackBerry Desktop Software, attach the the BlackBerry via USB.  Go into Device>Delete Data.  Choose selected Data and select BlackBerry Messenger and choose delete.
    Then re-add the contact via PIN to test.

  • HELP McAfee Detected Trojan in Verizon IHA

    Ok here goes my story.
    I went to use Verizon's IHA (In Home Assistant) the other day when I got a new printer.
    When I launched the IHA I received a message that there was a critical security update needed for the IHA.
    I said yes of course to the update, boy oh boy was that a mistake.
    When I went to launch it after updating the only thing that would happen is:
    1 - It shows the screen shot of the IHA program loading
    2 - disappears as fast as it appears
    Gerrrrrrr....I had a lot of things to do and decided that I would fiddle with IHA and the printer later when I have time.
    Fast forward to today, I logged on to check something real quick before I had to run back out.
    Figured I would check and see if IHA would launch. Nope same thing it was doing before. GERRRRRR!
    Then, McAfee while doing it's realtime or quick scan popped up with this:
    McAfee Detected Trojan in Verizon IHA - Artemis!6C5EA6C50022
    Now McAfee has quarantined it.
    Now you will see another Artemis quarantine above the IHA one in the picture, that was from a SD card which came out of a droid and has long ago been rectified.
    I like being able to use the IHA to troubleshoot my STB's etc, but right now it's not an option at all.
    Obviously because McAfee has quarantined it & I'm not sure I want to free it!
    So, what can be done about this situation?
    Can/should I uninstall/reinstall it?
    Is there a non-trojan version?
    I'm so frustrated with Verizon, like what did you add to the IHA that McAfee detects it as a Trojan? GEERRRR!
    More frustrating is that I actually use the Verizon Security Suite, thought it was an ok price & I didn't have to worry about when it needed to be relicensed!
    Ha, maybe I'll go back to purchasing my own security software, where I can have the control I've come accustomed to using. Set my own rules and regs and not worry about such **bleep**. Not to mention it would probably be cheaper in the long run. Maybe I'll go back to Cox Cable where their security suite is free, built into the price no doubt, but the customer does not see it!
    Now add to this story, I have a Degree in Computer & Networking and this is so not cool Verizon, I'm seriously PO'd.
    Sorry, but I needed to vent off some steam.
    So I'm taking responses as to what & where to go next, Thanks in advance!

    Ok here is my Latest Update.
    I used the McAfee GetSusp product which was finally able to upload the suspicious Verizon IHA File(s). The files are of "Unknown Type" So, the files will be forwarded for further analysis. I will post back when they get back to me.

  • [Help Required] Detecting feedback from the Microphone button on headphones

    Is there anyway to detect when a user has pressed the microphone button on the headphones?
    I'd really like to use this feature in my app. Basically to start a routine. This would be instead of the user pressing a button on screen.
    Hopefully this is possible.

    Sorry to bump this so soon but does anyone have any ideas if this is possible (or anyway to test)?

  • Help with detecting child video playback end

    I have a flash file that plays multiple videos. I'm trying to
    set it up so that all of the videos are loaded by a second (child)
    swf, imbedded in the first. The first (root) would call the second
    (child) swf, play the video, and at the end of the video, playback
    of the parent swf would resume. I can't seem to figure out how to
    do this. If I try to make a call to the root from the second swf, I
    of course can't because it doesn't know the root exists. The parent
    (root) swf has the following code on the frame that calls the
    child:
    ~~~
    stop();
    var loadVideo:URLRequest = new URLRequest("videoinset.swf");
    var videoLoader:Loader = new Loader();
    videoLoader.load(loadVideo);
    // Identifies which frame to play in inset video
    var vidclip:String = "intro";
    function swfLoaded(myEvent:Event):void {
    stage.addChild(videoLoader);
    var mycontent:MovieClip=myEvent.target.content;
    videoLoader.x = 210;
    videoLoader.y = 150;
    mycontent.gotoAndPlay(vidclip);
    videoLoader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE,
    swfLoaded);
    ~~~
    How can I tell it that when the child gets to frame(#), to go
    back to the root and resume play?
    I am using netstream to play the videos. There are 6, each
    called by a different frame in the videoinset child swf.
    Thanks for any help with this.

    Any help with this really would be appreciated; if I have not
    explained it clearly enough, by all means please let me
    know.

  • Need help detecting modem

    Hello, as part of a program I need to detect modems for various platforms. On unix, this was no problem as I called the following:
    Enumeration PortList =
    CommPortIdentifier.getPortIdentifiers();
    CommPortIdentifier Port = (CommPortIdentifier)
    PortList.nextElement();
    while(!Port.getName().equals("/dev/modem")){
    Port = (CommPortIdentifier)
    PortList.nextElement();
    Thus, returning the port as a commPortIdentifier. However, I tried to implement this into windows but ran into problems. First, I couldn't find what to search for (the equivalent of /dev/modem) in windows, so I wrote a program to output all the ports, and then I would pick from one. Unforutnatley, that did not recognize any ports. Could someone please help me detect the modem port in any manner they might knwo how. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi,
    Use the enviroment variable os.name to get the operating system. Then try something like this
    public static void main(String[] args) {
            portList = CommPortIdentifier.getPortIdentifiers();
            while (portList.hasMoreElements()) {
                portId = (CommPortIdentifier) portList.nextElement();
                if (portId.getPortType() == CommPortIdentifier.PORT_SERIAL) {
                    // if (portId.getName().equals("COM1")) {
                    if (portId.getName().equals("/dev/term/a")) {
                        SimpleRead reader = new SimpleRead();
        }I have just cut and paste the code from the sample provided with the comm API package. You will have to add an if clause to handle both windows and unix.
    Hope this helps.

    Hey guys,
    I am trying to connect the front panel audio on my thermaltake armor(VA8000BWS) case to my msi p55-gd55 motherboard. My case has 1 wire coming from the front panel with 2 connections on the end that connects to the mobo.  The ear mic chart for my case lists as follows:

    2-Return R
    3-EAR L
    4-Return L
    5-MIC IN
    6-MIC VCC or MICBIAS

    3-MIC R
    4-PRESENCE#
    5-HEAD PHONE R
    6-MIC DETECTION
    7-SENSE_SEND
    8-NO PIN
    9-HEAD PHONE L
    10-HEAD PHONE DETECTION
    Do I simply plug in my cable as is or do I have to move around some of the wires? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Quote from: XFM on 14-November-13, 07:56:50
    That is a pretty old case and front panel audio in it is for AL'97 not the HD audio that the MB has. You need to get a front panel audio module for HD audio from somewhere.
    So i can't connect the front panel audio on the MB? It was nice if i could, but no problems then.
    Thx for the help

  • Using Search Help with ALV and Dynamic context node

    The topic subject already describes my situation.
    I have to create, populate and remove context nodes at runtime, and bind them to an ALV, to let user display the data or modify the data. The nodes I create are always typed with a table name, but the table name is of course, dynamic.
    This is all working: what's not working is help for entries inside the ALV; since the table has foreign keys and domains with check tables or fixed values, I expected that search helps were detected and managed by the framework.
    Instead, no help search is displayed except the input help based on data-type of the one "Date" input fields.
    I think I have to work on the dynamic node creation, and not on the ALV itself, since the latter only takes the node/attributes information, but i could be wrong. I tried with both the two following codings:
      CALL METHOD lo_nd_info_root->add_new_child_node
        EXPORTING
          static_element_type          = vs_tabname
          name                         = 'SAMPLE_NODE_NAME'
    *    is_mandatory                 = abap_false
    *    is_mandatory_selection       = abap_false
         is_multiple                  = abap_true
         is_multiple_selection        = abap_false
    *    is_singleton                 = abap_false
          is_initialize_lead_selection = abap_false
          is_static                    = abap_false
        RECEIVING
          child_node_info              = lo_nd_info_data .
    cl_wd_dynamic_tool=>create_nodeinfo_from_struct(
          parent_info = lo_nd_info_root
          node_name = 'SAMPLE_NODE_NAME'
          structure_name = vs_tabname
          is_multiple = abap_true ).
    The result is the same...is there any way to let the ALV know what search helps it has to use, and doesn't force me to manually build a VALUE_SET to be bound on the single attributes? There are many tables, with many fields, and maintaining this solution would be very costly.

    I have checked with method GET_ATTRIBUTE_VALUEHELP_TYPE of interface IF_WD_CONTEXT_NODE_INFO, on an attribute which i know to have a search help (Foreign key of a check table).
    The method returns 'N', that is the constant IF_WD_VALUE_HELP_HANDLER~CO_VH_TYPE_NO_HELP. So, the framework was not able to find a suitable search help.
    Using method GET_ATTRIBUTE_VALUE_HELP of the same interface, on the same attribute, returns me '111', which is constant C_VALUE_HELP_MODE-AUTOMATIC.
    Therefore, the WD framework knows it has to automatically detect a value help, but fails to find one.
    Also, this means in my opinion that the ALV and the dynamic external mapping are not the culprits: since node creation, no help is detected for any attribute but the date. Honestly, I don't have a clue on what's happening.
