Help to get individualized ringtone on text.

We have a new Droid X with ringtone added that the hearing dog keys to when she hears it. We successfully emailed the ringtone from the old phone and got it working for the incoming calls. However, we cannot get it on the text notification. The ringtone does not show up on the list for incoming text messages. Any ideas??

Alright so I figured out how to make a notification ringtone. I downloaded the app Ringdroid and one I had the sound as a .mp3 all I did was I edited it using ringdroid and choose to save it well it gives you options on how you would like it saved and all you do is choose to save it as a notification and ta da there it is so if anyone else is having problems with this here is the solution I have found hope it helps.

Help: Not getting all data from text data type

I have a stored procedure that returns a couple of fields and one of the fields is of datatype TEXT. In my ResultSet, I do not get all the data back that is stored in the TEXT datatype. I have say about 600 charactors in this field, but only 30 charactors are returned. Is there a reason why this is happening and how can I fix it?

I set that field to have a normal string of about 50 charactors. Namely: "this is a note that is about 49 charactosrs long." (exclude the quotes). And I still got 30 charactors back only.
I set a shorter text value of 21 charactors and that returned all 21 charactors.
The text that is usually in this field is:
"URL=SubsidiaryNarrative.html�BABY_CARE_PRODUCTS=false�AIDS_FOR_PHYSICALLY_DISABLED=false�SPORT_SUPPLEMENTS=true�NATURAL_REMEDIES=false�COSMETICS_FRAGRANCE=false�WOMANS_HEALTH=false�ADDITIONAL_CARDS=No�EXERCISE_ROUTINE=Yes�NUMBER_OF_CHILDREN=0"
And I got out "URL=SubsidiaryNarrative.html�B"

Can't get a ringtone on texts

I just got the LG ally today and it was ringing when I was getting texts and then just stopped. I have checked everything its not on vibrate of an kind.. What is wrong with it

Hello asingram. I understand your concern for not receiving your text message alerts on your device. You will want to go through to verify the notifications are set up correctly on your device.
Go To:
Messaging Apps
Menu
Settings
Scroll to Notification Settings then select your tone
If this does not work, on your device, dial *228 and press send. When provided the options select option 1 to re-program then reset up your notification settings.

Individual ringtones not working

My wife's iPhone 4s (AT&T) doesn't seem to be doing the individual ringtone and text tones that she's set for me. Instead, it just goes with her default sounds.
My iPhone 4s (Sprint) has no problem doing an individual tone when she calls/texts me.
Any suggestions?

Never mind. I think I figured it out. Thanks to the interaction of her exchange server contacts and our contacts from the home computer, her phone didn't know I was me when I was calling/texting. I think it's sorted out now.

Couple of things to check:
You are using Outlook 2003, 2007 or 2010
You have selected to sync Calendars and Contacts with Outlook on the Info tab of your iTunes sync settings
You have selected your Outlook calendar as the default claendar on your iPhone (in Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar)
If all that is correct and iTunes still won't sync correctly, you might have to try reinstalling Outlook. Another option is to enable iCloud syncing with Outlook (see http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/). This requires Outlook 2007 or 2010. If you decide to sync using iCloud but sure to disable contacts and calendar syncing in iTunes on the Info tab of your sync settings. Do not try to sync with both Outlook and iCloud or you will end up with duplicates in your contacts and calendar.
For syncing Ringtones confirm that:
The file is really a ringtone (right-click the file in iTunes, select Get Info, on the Summary tab it should say "Kind: Ringtone".
You have checked each of the ringtones you want to sync
You have checked "Sync only checked songs and videos" on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings
You have checked Sync Tones on the Tones tab of your iTunes sync settings

Help to get text objects in ABAP

I've created my first report program and need some help to get text objects into the report. The program combines the tables KNA1, LIKP, LIPS, VBAK, VBAP and VBKD to create a deliverylist which we import as excel info a shipping service. The issue at hand is that our website allows customers to change the ship-to party's address when creating an order. The adress are not updated to KNA1, but are comitted as a text on the ship-to on the delivery itself.
The text I need in the report is RV50A-TXTWE.
Can you help me get going on how to add this from the delivery?

Your problem is that its a structure. Structures are filled in a program and no longer exist after the program is closed. They are temporary data. It will have been moved to tables somewhere most likely. The next step is to debug / trace through the code to find out what was done with it.
What program were you using that created the structure?

Both of you need to have iMessage activated, and both have to have active Internet connection for iMessage. Are you both using the same Apple ID? Are you using the phone number or Apple ID for messages?

Reading Individual Lines of Text Into An ArrayList or Vector From A File

I am trying to read each individual line of text of a .txt file into an ArrayList or Vector. I seem to get the same results no matter which Object I am using (ArrayList or Vector). The text file is a comma-delimited text file to be used as a database. I want to separate each line as an individual record then dump it into an ArrayList or Vector and have them loop through a StringTokenizer() class so that I can be sure each line has the correct number of fields before I commit it to a serialization file. Currently, the proper amount of records seems to be forming in the initial part of the program, I am just remiss at properly placing them in the Vector, or StringTokenizer classes so I can further manipulate them. I'm using the LineNumberReader class to get line numbers to use as record numbers and for loop indexes. I'm not sure (obviously) if this is a correct way to do it or not.
Any help is greatly appreciated in advance.

I think your logic is broken.
rawData = new Vector();
creates a new instance of Vector for every record.
Your add() within a for loop adds the same record to the Vector n times. I think what you really want is something like this:in = new LineNumberReader(new FileReader(filename));

I purchased a ringtone today and since I did so, none of my alerts are working. My iPod is playing fine, so I know it's not the speakers. I just have no idea when I get a call or text message! Please help!

Try doing a hard reboot of the iPhone
1. hold the power and home buttons down
2. you will see the "swipe to turn off" screen come up... KEEP HOLDING THE BUTTONS
3. The screen will go black (turn off)... KEEP HOLDING THE BUTTONS
4. A white Apple logo will appear on the screen, now you can release the buttons. Left the iPhone boot... should only take a couple minutes.

How do I get a Ringtone back onto my iPhone?

I have a ringtone in the ringtone section of iTunes. I'm sure I put it there when I changed the .mp3 version of it into an .m4r version prior to putting it onto my iPhone.
I have now been told by Apple to restore my iPhone, so of course this ringtone is no longer on the phone.
But I have now completely forgotten how to get the ringtone, which is in iTunes, onto my phone. Please help.
