Help to get the correct Calendar Week value as in Outlook Calendars

Hello there,
I am using a Calendar in my application implemented using Java Swing. I have a new requirement to show even the "*Calendar Week*" beside the week row in the first column just like how it is Microsoft Outlook*.
How do I get the Calendar Week. Is there any function in Java? I tried this, but it is not the right value.

          now.set(2010, Calendar.JANUARY, 1);

Output*
Date as set about is : Fri Jan 01 12:17:37 IST 2010
Current week of year is : 53
I am supposed to get "1" as the output but getting 53.
Could you please tell me what went wrong and how do I go about implementing the functionality of Calendar week in our program.

I'm either not understanding your problem, or you aren't understanding that week numbers are calculated in different ways in different parts of the world. Even first day of week isn't the same day for all parts of the world.
