Help to paste PDF into Word

I need to regularly paste long PDF docs into Word docs and not as links that will open the PDF (so I can have the Word docs header/footer as banner on the PDF pages). I am currently saving the PDF as a tiff or jpeg and then copying/pasting each page individually - really time consuming. Is there a quicker/easier way?

Perhaps it would be easier to export the PDF page content to RTF (that is, if the page content is textual).
Bring the RTF into Word and apply the appropriate Headings and Styles.
Be well...

You will need to find a forum for MS Word since that is the software that you are trying to manipulate in this.  If you think the processing/creation of the PDF plays a role then you should ask in the forum for the software that you are using to create the PDF.
This forum is for issue regarding downloading and installing Adobe trial products, so in any circumstance, your issue does not fit in this forum.

You might find it easier to export the file to Word under File > Export > Word in Acrobat 9.

This is not a feature of Adobe Reader. You'll need either Acrobat or a subscription to one of the web-based services that Adobe offers (like PDF Pack) to do it.

    Hi oj1,
Since you mention a free trial, I'm guessing that you have an Acrobat trial (Adobe doesn't offer free trials of the Acrobat.com online services).
If you do have Acrobat, you can use the Save As command in that application to save directly to Word format.
Please let us know how it goes.

    Hi Cowandmoon,
From within Adobe Reader, could you try opening Adobe Reader XI and choosing Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Adobe Reader > Preferences (Mac), then select 'Adobe Online Services' from the left-hand side.  Click 'Sign Out...', then sign back in with your Adobe ID and password.
After this is completed, try choosing the Tools pane again from within Reader to see if you can access your subscription.
Please let us know how it goes!
    Thanks,

  • Need help. Exporting pdf to Word or cretaing live fields in doc

I need to take a 180pg doc and save it as a word doc or manage to turn all the necessary areas into live fields. I've tried going to export > word document or File > export to anything really and I keep getting this error message
Adobe was unabl;e to make this document accessible becuase of the following error:
Bad PDF; could not read page structure. Bad PDF; error in processing fonts cannot find CMap resource file> [3]
I received this document form a client overseas. I can't get them to resend another copy.
Anyway's I can get around this error? I'm desperate I have 9 other docs with the same amount of page to make live

Sounds that you want to make the PDF files live and then edit them in Word? Why not directly edit them in Adobe Acrobat? It can help directly edit PDF, the conversion is unnecessary. And if you really want to export PDF to Word but the acrobat can help you little, you would try free PDF to Word Converter, which may help you for the conversion. However, I am not sure you would do that work well. Because I am a little confused about the problem you described. Just have a try and it may helps.

  • AcroExch missing when embedding PDF into Word document

When I try to embed a pdf into a word document, the well known message "The program used to create this object is AcroExch.  That program is not installed on your computer...".
I'm working with on Windows 7, Office 2010 and Adobe Acrobat XI  (all 64Bit, patch level up to date).
downgrading to Acrobat 9.5 would solve the problem, but does not match to our company policy.
Any help, how to solve the problem with current versions?

  • Pasting code into word

Hi, I've tried to paste my block diagram into word, but for some unknown reason parts of the diagram go missing and some parts blackout. Is there some technique to doing this where the resolution is good. My block diagram is fairly big, and asking to paste an excellent copy onto A4 may be asking too much. Is there a trick to doing this?
    Please help
    Thanks

I had a look at the code capture tool, and pardon my ignorance, I'm pretty new to labview, but I cant find the labview project directory. Could someone direct me and advise what to do. Do I add the Code capture tool at the top of the file dialogue window to the project directory, or have I to choose from the list?
The project folder has nothing to do with a 'LabVIEW project", it is a plain folder in the NI hierarchy. For example under LabVIEW 8.0 in Windows XP, the default would be:
    C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.0\project
Place the files in that folder. That's it!
LabVIEW Champion . Do more with less code and in less time .

  • How to drag and drop PDF into Word with Reader installed.

I am trying to drag and drop PDFs into MS Word.  I have Reader installed.  Every time I get the following error:
I notice in the Task Manager that AcroRd32.exe runs.  I know I can do the long method...Insert Object, etc, but that's way too time consuming for multiple files.
What do I need to do so I can just drag and drop?
    David

I want the inserted file to be an icon.
If only closing Reader were the simple answer.  When I drag & drop, Reader starts up in the background (hidden), then closes on its own as well.  Even if I have another PDF viewer installed and set as the default viewer, AcroRd32.exe still launches for the drag & drop process.  The only way I have found to make it work is to remove Reader completely.  I don't want this to be the solution.
Is there a reason Adobe has caused this behavior?  With Reader 8 installed, I am able to drag & drop just fine.  I don't understand why Adobe wants to alienate its users like this.
I appreciate that you're an MVP, but does Adobe have a response or solution?

  • How can I choose korean language to convert pdf into word?

I need to translate the document in Hungle.
To make the speed up,I tried to convert the Pdf document in hungle into word, and realized I can't choose Hungle for OCR.
I wonder why Hungle and Chinese are not seleced as languages for ExprtPdf ,for  those countries are imortant for both aspects of economy and culture  for Japan.

It seems that Hangul and Chinese is not available for OCR in ExportPDF; see http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat-com/kb/using-ocr-exportpdf.html
You may need to use Acrobat to OCR and convert Korean and Chinese documents.
