HELP tones using the linksys PAP2T-NA

We have some clients that are reporting that they are making outgoing calls fine however the recipient is complaining of constant or sporadic tones. They say that is sounds like someone is holding down the key on the phone itself. We wondered if there was an operator error however we have multiple clients that are complaining about the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions or noticed this problem.

OK, so I've tried a different setting to see if it'll work.
Previously I had not configured the WAN of the Linksys router at all and left it on Auto (DHCP) even though I disabled the DHCP for the LAN. I've now set the WAN up to a random Static IP and hopefully this will solve the problem, but I'm not sure as of yet, if anyone could look over the settings to see if they're correct please let me know.
Router 1- (Router)
WAN - Configured to ISP
LAN - DHCP
IP: 192.168.1.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
IP Range: 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.150
Router 2 - Linksys (AP)
WAN - Static IP
IP: 64.XXX.XXX.1 (made up value)
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 64.XXX.XXX.254 (made up value)
DNS: XX.XXX.XXX.X (made up value)
LAN - DHCP disabled
IP: 192.168.1.2
Subnet: 255.255.255.252
The WRT54G was a bit of a pain in terms of what Static IP and Gateway values they would accept, so I had to randomly put in values until I found something that worked. So far no disconnects, but it's only been half an hour. I can't seem to access the admin page for my Linksys router at 192.168.1.2 anymore though.

I would also like this issue addressed.
I am using a Plantronics Voyager Pro+ and when it is connected to my iPhone 4, email and text sounds are not audible through the phone. The phone just vibrates when a new text or email is received.
I don't really care if it plays through the headset, but it should at least play through the phone. I tested the headset from a BlackBerry and the alerts play fine.

Ask Linksys. If you reset the extender it presumably lost the username and password it was supposed to service. I'd just supply the name and password and move on.

Help with using the WRT54G as an Access Point

Ever since I've been using the WRT54G as an access point behind another router I have been experiencing intermittent disconnects and reconnects from the internet anywhere from once every 5 to 60 minutes. I get the message notifcation that the Local Area Network is disconnected for a split second before everything reconnects and works fine. This has been happening on my desktop which is wired directly to the WRT54G which itself is wired directly to the other router, but I have also experienced these disconnects with my iPhone and laptops which have been using the wireless signal.
When I was connected directly to the original router I hadn't experienced any of these problems. I've also tried changing settings and even disabling the wireless broadcast of the WRT54G but to no avail. I can't figure out what the issue is, but it seems to also be affecting the wireless broadcast of the original router.
I've updated firmware for the Linksys, and I've done a reset for the Linksys as well.
Any help would be much appreciated to get rid of these disconnects.

Can someone help me using the facial blend feature in Elements 6 ??

I am trying to merge faces into a phot and i am hoping for some help,...i am a rookie here, so i could use some step by step guidance if possible.

Do you mean Photomerge Faces? Open the two photos in Guided Edit. The Final photo is the one you will move the features into from the Source photo. It helps to make sure they are a similar size before you start. Then you put the little targets over the eyes and mouth and do the align, then use the pencil tool in the source photo to indicate what you want to move to the Final photo.
Guided Edit should walk you through it pretty well, if you just follow the steps there.

Help with using the pen tool

I have a few different problems with the pen tool.
1. When using the pen tool I keep finding that the shape I'm doing is slightly overlapping where I've already gone with the pen tool.
If I try and go over that area again the path I've just drawn then jumps and ruins the shape I was creating.
How can I stop this from happening?
2. Also is there a limit to the amount of paths you can create and add text to? I created two paths and typed on them fine but when I added a third path it refused to type. The cursor didn't change to show I could type and if I did click on the path line and try to type jumped to my other path and typed there. All paths were on different layers and none were overlapping, but it is 3 circles inside each other that get smaller if this makes a difference.
How can I type on the third path?
3. When I have done a path and clicked stroke it is only a thin line. How can I make this line thicker?

Ok, the first example would be something like this. Pretending the lines go elsewhere, say I've drawn a path with the pen tool, gone round the bottom box and that then goes round the two lines going down. So if I go down the one on the left side it hits the previous path I did, but to go up the line on the right side I'd need to go across there. But if I make a point where the two lines meet to do this it then throws the line off elsewhere.
I did have snap vector tools on but it does that without it on.
The next one I was creating a car speedometer so it has lines on the outside, dots inside of that and then, where I've done the blue circle, would be the third path where I then write the numbers in. But I can never write on that third path.
And finally, the pen tool and I think it dd have Shape Dynamics set. I've changed a couple of things and it looks a bit better now so I think that should be ok. Thanks
I know I haven't shown the panels but I haven't got any for the first as it won't go right so I deleted what I was doing. And each thing I've done is on a different layer for the speedometer, all just paths created with the circle tool with the text on.

Unablr to connect when using the Linksys router

I'm using the WRT54Gx2, version 2 router and have configured it per the directions and with a computer directly connected and logged into the router it connects to SBCglobal just fine. When I try to connect to the internet with the computer (not a wireless connection) it will not connect. I'm using a new computer running vista - if that makes a difference. I also tried connecting using another computer running xp and it will not connect.
Any suggestions?

If it's a speedstream or westell modem, you'll need to change the router's address. Do you need to click an SBC icon or enter a username/password to get online on the modem or is it automatic?
The box said windows xp or better... So I installed Linux!

Help in using the plugin to import Aperture Files into Lightroom?

I’m attempting to use your installer plugin to import my Aperture photos (with Aperture edits) into a Lightroom catalog. The Aperture photos are referenced files on a remote drive. When I select the “Select” Aperture Library on the plugin installer it will not let me select the files on the remote drive. The “Select” button for “Copy images to” works and lets me select a location. I do not want to move the files, but want to be able to access these file from Lightroom and from Aperture (eventually not use Aperture). Please advise me as to how to proceed… Ken Harper

Correct, I am using the Import Dialog. Menu | File | Import Photos and Video... -OR- From the Library, click on the Import button to the lower left.
The images have not been imported. I even created a brand new catalog with nothing imported - Same results.
During a normal import, the impages do show during the import process. In this case they do not.
Move does not work. The only mothod that does, is for me to try the import first and let it fail. Lightroom, does however build the directory structure / files for the days the pictures were taken, it just does nothing else. I then copy/move the files in to (as noted above) from Drive A to Drive B by myself and then use that drive as the source to do an Add.
When I use the <Copy> the only message I get is one with "Some operations were not performed." at the top. Next line down has "Could not copy a file to the requested location."
Now for the kick in the teeth.
I, to make 100% sure everything I was telling you was correct. I manually moved the from from A to B. Chose the <Add> option so that it would be in the Catalog. Verified it worked, it was in the catalog. I then went back to try the <Copy>, and it withed with both the JPGs and MOVs files. LR4 copied the files form A to B and did the Catalog import.
Go Figure.

There is an option, but it's a rather complicated process. If you feel you're up to the task, read on.
You can try using the hpijs driver. You won't get access to printer status or the card reader, but you can at least print over the network. In addition to downloading and installing the two packages from this page, you may have to download the PPD file for the 3100 from this page and install in the /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/en.lproj folder (or the .lproj folder connesponding to your primary language). A new printer model called "HP Photosmart 3100 Foomatic/hpijs" will be available in the Print Using popup.
If Bonjour printing doesn't work, the process gets even more complicated: you may have to use the Advanced mode in the Printer Setup Utility to configure the printer for AppSocket/HP JetDirect printing to port 9100 of the Express. To get access to the Advanced settings, go through the motions of adding a printer in Printer Setup Utility but instead of selecting a printer from the browser, hold down the option key while pressing "More Printers...".
In the resultant dialog, select "AppSocket/HP JetDirect" from the Device popup, give the printer a name, enter a Device URI of "socket://<address>:9100". Replace <address> with either the Express's IP address or its Bonjour host name, which will be the Express's name with punctuation removed, spaces replaced by dashes, and ".local" appended. If you want to be sure to get the right address, use a utility like iStumbler to get the Bonjour host name (minus the ".local", which will still need to be appended). Finally, select the printer model and click on Add.

Help Required using the staic Ip with the DHCP

We have a server on which SBS 2011 is installed. I have installed the DHCP role and configured the DHCP on the server. The following are the details of the server
IP address : 192.168.100.65
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.100.1
DNS server : 192.168.100.1
This server is connected to the BT Hub 3 router. But the problem is i found that Public Ip of the server changes frequently. this IP is configured in BT HUb router at
Settings --> Broadband --> TCP/IP Settings--> IP Adresss
Now we have purchased 5 static Ips out of which one I want to configure on this server. So that I can have the fixed Public IP. I dont want to change the DHCP Settings on the server. How to achieve this??.
When i configure one of the the static ip for the server in the settings --> Business Network. The internal Ip address gets replaced.
I tick mark both options while configuring static Ip
a) Use public fixed ip address
b) Always use this Ip address
And when i again manually enter my internal DHCP address, it again takes the public Ip from
Settings --> Broadband --> TCP/IP Settings--> IP Adresss
And my server is not visible in the Business Network.
How can i configure the static Ip on the router????

HELP!Use the calenders and all of the sudden everything is gone!

I synced to computer and nothing restored.

What IOS are you using?
I'm not clear what the relationship to the synching and the lost calendar entries is.
Were your calendar entries missing before you synched the iPad to the computer?
What else changed from the time when the entries were there and when they were missing?

WOW is very slow when using the linksys router

If I connect directly into my cable modem I and run and play WOW with no problem, if I connect back the wireless router the proformance is very slow and can't see the characters sometimes. Is there a setting to turn off or lower the filters?

Help, I used the mv terminal command and now I cant find my files!

I used to mv command to move a large 19GB file to my now 3TB external hdd and now I can not find the file! I logged in as root and used this:
mv /Users/username/filename /Volumes/Mac\ OS\ External\filename

Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, provide /Volumes/Mac OS External/ as the path, and drag it to the desired location.

I need help with using the Make With Top Object envelope distortion.

I'm doing a project for school called "Ocean Of Stars". I have a few objects,a sheet of purple stars and a few blue gradient colored circles. I need to merge the stars and the circles as one object, but when I click the Make with top object command, the color in the cicles disappear. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

His spheres are 3d yours are 2d. See what happens when you revolve a 1/2 a sphere. You will find a way to apply the stars in that same dialog box if you look really hard.
