Help! Trying to enable automatic downloads on iTunes and im not able to click the check box!!
So i have the latest itunes, im trying to get iCloud to work.
When i go to store under settings in my iphone 4, automatic downloads are turned on.
When i go to itunes in my macbook, and try to enable automatic downloads, the boxes next to "music, books, apps" are unable to be checked, they appear in a light gray color.
I dont know why this is happening!
Can someone help me please?

I dont think you quite understand my problem at hand..
Basically, automatic downloads are enabled on my iphone.
The PROBLEM is when i go to enable automatic downloads on my macbook, i see the boxes next to books apps and music but it is NOT letting my check those boxes for some reason! It is completly restricted and i am confused to why it is doing that.

This is how I managed to fix the problem...and I hope this helps others in the similar situation.
I tried with another program..latest version of Nero, and this was also stopping at the 'initialising' stage. I was now lost! I thought the last resort is to give Evesham (My PC manufacturer) a buzz. They were very helpfull. Basically go into 'Control Panel', 'System', and click on the Hardware tab, then 'Device Manager'. Uninstall everything in the DVD/CDRom Drives. Then uninstall everything under the catagory IDE ATA/Atapi disk controllers. This is where my problem was, as I only had one IDE channel here. You should have 4 or 5! Reboot your machine, and everything will automatically re-load. I tried burning using Nero and it worked. Then the big test was iTunes. It worked 1st time!
I asked why the IDE channels have dissappearred, and he said sometimes uninstalling Programmes occasionally removes them.
I hope this will help others who are having problems to burn stuff on iTunes. -

I have tried this at least a dozen times and nothing happens....the dialog box comes up but no signs of downloading occurs even after 3 hours!!
Try to download your MobileMe galleries directly from the Internet:
Go to the System/MobileMe preference pane
Press the button,Visit me.com,
this will bring you to your MMe galleries and you can download the photos from there.
Usually this direct way will be faster.
To be able to use Aperture again, don't press the ok. button, when the MM panel appears, but the "learn more". then you can open the "File" menu in Aperture and use the "Web Accounts" menu entry to "Edit Web accounts" and disable MobileMe in Aperture by deleting it from the accounts list.

What is error 1202? I cannot connect to itunes store. i have downloaded the latest version of itunes and still not able to connect to itunes store.
For those who are getting annoyed, I have found a solution which requires you to create a new apple ID without using credit card information:
1. Go the app store
2. Hit cancel when it asks you to sign in (If it doesn't, continue to step 3)
3. Find a free app and try to download it
4. you to sign in option will appear, it will ask you if you want to use existing ID or create a new apple id. SELECT CREATE NEW APPLE ID
5. Follow the steps and when it gets to the stage it asks you for your card info, Choose 'None'
6. Full in all you name and address etc... And click next.
7. Verify your email and Enjoy downloading FREE apps

I have realised over time I have created multiple accounts. I have bought music on my Iphone and am not able to locate the account that I made most of my purchases on. I have bank statements on the purchases but don't know how to contact someone in Itune to help me. PLEASE
I don't have the app adn no expereince with it, but it appears basec on teh app description you may need it installed on your MAC as well to download the files.

On Itunes for Windows 7, when I click the check mark box, the song is quickly deleted and sent to the recycle box. How do I go back to when I click on the check mark box, the checkmark is either turned on or off?
Thanks for replying, but I tried that earlier and had that did not work. After your reply I did it again, shutdown itunes and rebooted system. I thought since it didn't do that earlier that might work but same results it deleted file from Itunes but no second questions to move to recycle bin.

i downloaded advance cinema app from tha app store, but everytime i click on a movie, it takes me to the IMDB website and im not able to watch the movie. The app promises 4000 free movies, but not able to watch any new movies...
I have found the issue. I have not found an answer to the prob. I have put in a case with customer service. If it doesn't work right, I need my money back!!!

I now have a brick for a phone. Just tried to update to 7.1.1 using iTunes and it wipred out the operating system OK but now will not communicate with iTunes or the laptop. I reloaded iTunes and still no luck. If I press and hold the power and home buttons it inly comes up to the same screen showing the lightning cable pointing to iTunes logo. How can I get this running again? Even a factory reset to start would help if possible then I can do a restore. Right now it is worthless.Hello HarbourStables,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your iPhone 5s. I would be concerned too if my iPhone was stuck in recovery mode and not recognized in iTunes so that you can restore it.

IPad Air says iPad is disabled connect to iTunes and STILL not able to use it. VERY UNHAPPY

Apple are not involved in tracking/locating stolen or lost devices. Have you reported it to the police ?
Did you have Find My iPad enabled in Settings > iCloud ? If you did and you had iOS 7 installed on it then it should be harder to remove from your account, and the police could try locating it via http://www.icloud.com -

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

We are trying to re-load iTunes onto my iPad in order that we can transfer selected music from laptop to my iPad......after re-setting iPad to factory settings we no longer have iTunes. Does anybody have any suggestions......T&C does not make provision for acceptance.

Downloaded ML last night now one little glitch seems to be that I cannot select multiple messages at a time to delete. With the massive amount of email I receive, this is a problem. Cannot seem to find any simple fixes in preferences. Any ideas?
you could use one hand to do this, before ML. select one email and drag up/down with the cursor to select more. selecting/shift key is the normal multiple selection operation. that's two handed.

I'm trying to enable automatic downloads in the iTunes store for iCloud and i keep getting an error "your computer is already associated with another Apple ID" but I don't know which it could be? I've tried to look under Manage Devices in my iTunes account and I can't find my computer. Is there any way to find out what Apple ID my computer is associated with on my computer and not thru iTunes?
