HELP: trying to find a PRAM battery
hi everyone,
My PowerBook needs a new PRAM battery but I'm having a heck of a time finding a retailer that has the exact one need for our dear 15" G4 PowerBooks. iFixit lists them but has currently does not have any in stock.

I need these deleted text messages, they are very important. I have been up all night trying to recover these lost text messages but no matter how many times I try I can't get them. I haven't synced my device to itunes since sometime in 2013 and my icloud isn't working and doesn't say that it backs up text messaging. I'm out of ways to get my deleted text message. It's very important that i get it back. It can stop a lot of problems that I am having.
If you have not made a backup of the device while the text messages were on the device, then there is nothing that you can do. If you have created a backup of the device with the messages on there, then you can restore to that backup. The iCloud backup does backup SMS, so if you did make one, then they would be there. Otherwise, you are out of luck.

Help, I popped out my Pram battery in my G5 to check it and now I can't remember which way the polarity should be. Is the positive pointed to the front of the computer? You'd think there would be something stamped on to the battery carrier.

My iMac EMC 2105 is set up more like a G5 inside, except with Intel clips. In trying to change the PRAM Battery the other day, I busted the clip. SO is there any hope of getting this fixed, or can I get a McGuyver like fix, like electric tape, rubber bands, anything?
The metal clip holding the battery in broke off. The rest of the metal is still inside the black plastic ring, but not enough to hold anything.
There's a little bit of an opening next to the remaining metal. I'm considering trying to wedge some copper wire down there and fashion a new clip to hold the battery in. Otherwise, I may try some JB Weld. Or I could just forget it. Will that eventually ruin my logic board? -
i just got a ipod and i can't find my wi-fi password im so mad i have alot of networks but it wont let me make a password and i have tried to find my wi-fi password is there an app or something that can help me get wi-fi on my ipod i feel so sad knowing that i cant even do anything with it
You need to contact the people who administer the networks to get the passwords for the networks. If there was such an app as you are asking for then passwords for wifi networks would be worthless.

FaceTime and iMessages have stopped working since i updated to 7.0.3, saying there is a network error and to try again later. Have tried reinstalling Find my iPhone to see if it works. It doesn't for me. The message says "FaceTime (iMessage) Activation: Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again". My network is perfectly alright as I keep buying on the App Store. can u please help out???

I purchased a new laptop. I'm trying to find the same version of Acrobat Pro 9.5 I have on my old laptop to install on my new computer. Any help?
I'm using an iMac with the newest OS X Yosemite. I tried to reinstall Creative Cloud, removed all the programs. But I still get the 'old' 2014 version with the Lionhead, not the Sunglasses (october 2014) with interactive libraries. I use Adobe iPad apps, for instance Adobe Brush, Adobe Shape and Adobe Color and it's so great to have all the things you make with these apps in your Illustrator & Photoshop libraries. Somehow it worked om my laptop, but not om my home computer.

How do I gift a playlist made of half my own songs and half chosen songs to be purchased? I have tried to find the 'arrow to the right' of the playlist when I select it but cannot see this at all! Can anyone help?

All my photos in the iphoto have disappeared, not sure if this related to any iphoto upgrade or other issue, tried to find the photos through the finder (JPG or photo) but failed, can you help me to get back my photos please?
Help us to help you: There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on seven different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary from version to version and OS to OS. So before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
- Did it ever work properly?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.

HELP!!!! I have spent hours trying to find out how to embed an image with a link, or embed a Microsoft Word document with a hyperlink built within the document -- not as an attachment into my email -- but where it shows as the email content when opened! Does ANYONE know the secret? Can it be done, or not? My PC clients do it all the time easily. Then I want to be able to send the embedded image/document (not as an attachment, but visable within the email when opened) to many email contacts at once, BUT the individuals receiveing them DO NOT SEE the other email contacts. Cannot seem to be able to find anything on being able to do these 2 tasks.PLEASE, SOMEONE, HELP!!!

But it had color pencils and crayons on the left side of it.. It would show the tips of the colors pencils and you could scroll up and down to choose color..

I'm trying to find a way to move pictures from Preview to iPhoto. Tried "rebuilding library"...nothing happens. Pictures ssomehow wound up in Preview after I needed to do a clean install (Snow Leopard) and moved files from an external drive. Help!
If you saw the images with Preview in the other iPhoto Library, than try to open iPhoto with that Library:

If the Photos are there, replace the iPhoto Library in your Pictures folder with the one from the external. (posted by Keith)
My response:
The pictures don't appear in Preview in the other user account. They also don't appear in the external drive (!!!????). I discovered I can get the pictures into iPhoto by saving from Preview to the desktop, then importing into iPhoto, but only one at a time.
Clearly the files are on the hard drive somewhere, but where? The 'iPhoto library" icon that appears in my Pictures folder is a "package" which can't be opened on it's own....it's only able to be imported into Preview.
This feels like the Twilight Zone to me.....
