Help trying to record a VM audio message from my Blackberry 8100 to my PC.

I'm trying to save a voice mail message from my Blackberry to my PC.I was told that if I used Phantom Cable Male2.5mm to Male3.5mm, that I would be able to simply plug it in to my ear phone jack on my blackberry and my Audio Line-In jack on my PS and then use my recording software to capture the sound from my phone. For some reason, the sound does not appear to be going through the cable. When I plug it in to the phone, I can still hear the sound clearly through the normal ear speaker on the phone. It seems the phone is not recognizing the cable. Someone has said that this may be due to the my cable being a stereo to stereo cable and the the Blackberry may use a 4 conductor jack for the earpice. Can anyone shed any light on this, or at least give me a suggestion of how I can transfer an audio message from my blackberry to my pc?

    I used to send audio messages from my mobile to my friend's email, and it worked fine.
    But some days ago it stopped working. I keep on seeing this whenever I try to send audio message.
    "In order to send/download MM messages, the current active connection may be closed (this may affect other applications in use). Do you want to continue ?"
    When I disconnected connection, it fails to send again. I saw this message:
    "Multimedia message cannot be sent. Packet data connection not available"
    It is impossible for me to send the audio message if I close the connection because I'm not having internet in my phone.
    I have been using packet data connection to send all the messages to email all the time and it went OK. I got that problem just a few days ago and I cannot send any audio messages now.
    I can still send normal emails (non-audio message) from my phone through packet data connection though.
    The problem is only when sending the audio message.
    I'm using Nokia E63 and I'm in the UAE.
    My mobile provider is "Du".
    I use packet data connection from "MyWorld"
    I don't have any other packet data connections. I had many but now, MyWorld is the only one in my phone.
    Please help me how can I do it.

  • HELP ... Not receiving email messages from particular Yahoo Group

    Ever since the evening of 3/26 every member of my Yahoo Group with an email address from Comcast.net has not been able to reliably receive messages from the group. Out of over 40 emails since then, we've received 4 (2 on 4/1 and 2 this morning). There are no error messages involved, there are just no emails in our inboxes. Yahoo does not indicate that any of the messages have "bounced". The messages are not in my spam folder (in fact, the first Comcast "helper" i worked with had me turn off the spam filter in Comcast,net) Oddly, I (and the others) can receive messages from other Yahoo Groups that we are members of, just not ours: SoundOfNewEngland I was on the phone with Comcast for 2.5 HOURS on 4/3 and was basically told that since I could receive a test message from Comcast that the error must be with Yahoo!   After contacting Yahoo, I was told that since others in the group can receive the messages, that the error must be with Comcast. <sigh> The last email I got from Yahoo said that Comcast would need to add Yahoo info into the Comcast whitelist. I told this to a Comcast technician during a help chat on 4/5 ... and she told me to fill out this form: http://www.comcastsupport.com/sdcxuser/asp/comcast_blockedprovider.asp I did that even tho the issue is that the Yahoo Group's messages were being blocked and I didn't have an IP address for those, but I could provide the domain name:  yahoogroups.com I tried to put the info that Yahoo Groups gave me for the whitelist, but the description is limited to 1024 characters  Needless to say, I have not received a resonse from Comcast within 24 hours of posting the form  Here is the info from Yahoo!: "Since you have already reviewed your settings, and confirmed that the emails are not landing in your spam folder, you will need to follow up with your email provider again, since it appears that they are dropping emails from the group.   • A minor helpful tip - Convertion of TV Tuner audio output from on-board sc to SB Live! 24 bit

    Many of you might had known about it but I just would like to share my tiny knowledge here with those who might has the same problem when they upgrade their on-board sc to SB Li've! 24 bit sc.
    If you have a on-borad sound card, and if you decided to but a new SB Li've! 24 bit sc and then you might find that all audio are OK after installing the SB Li've! 24 bit sc except sound/audio from your TV tuner !!! . . the TV sound is MUTED!
    Firstly, there is this tiny Audio Cable connected from your TV tuner card to a 4-pin input-jumper somewhere on the motherborad (since it's a on-borad sc, you might not find it on the on-board sc or next to it). Please note that my on-board sc is refering to my On-board Realtek AC97 Audio sc as for my case. You might have a different on-borad sc, but generally the setup is more or less the same.
    After installing your SB Li've! 24 bit sc, make sure you re-direct this tiny Audio Cable from TV tuner card to the 4-pin Audio input jumper of you SB Li've! 24 bit sc.
    Then, go to your WindowsXp Sound control property, UN-MUTE the Auxiliary.
    Then, go to your TV software program to configure the AUDIO SOURCE to Auxiliary.
    Tada . . you got the sound/audio from TV. Now. . you can surf the net or do your work while enjoy your TV program at the top of the screen!!

    After reinserting the ATI card, I was not able to test before driver installation due to low resolution video.
    I tested after installing the latest ATI driver and still had zero SCP issues.
    I then uninstalled the original driver from the SB Li've CD and reinstalled the latest driver from filename SB24_WEB64_LB__04_0055
    SCP is BACK!
    This DOES seem to indicate a major change in the Creative drivers from original issue to current issue that are not in spec.
    My SB Li've model # is SB040.
    The information from the p7.inf file on my CD is as follows.....

    I'm running iOS 8.0.2 on an iPhone 5. I'm loving the audio message feature but I see that my friends are keeping my audio messages or they're saying that I'm keeping theirs. My friends also using iOS 8 confirm that they're definitely not intentionally keeping mine, and I am definitely not keeping theirs. Yes, I have made the appropriate setting configuration for audio messages to expire after 2 minutes.
    Anyone know why this is happening? Is it a bug?

    Right now I can either play the incoming stream OR record it. I tried making Clones for datasource like :
    DataSource clone1 = Manager.createCloneableDataSource(originalSource);
    Then I pass it to these 2 classes:
    new playThread(clone1).run;
    new recordThread(clone1).run;
    playThread is a Thread class that will take the cloned datasource and then plays it while recordThread will record the incoming datasource. Here is what happens when i run them one after another:
    When I run playThread before recordThread I get ACM driver error. But if I run the recordThread before playThread the playThread's playerWindow shows up and plays for a split second then stops; The recordThread does record all the incoming stream though... Here are my questions....
    1. Anyone know what my problem is? is it resource alocation? Threading problem?
    2. Did I use the clone datasource correctly? I tried making clone1, clone2 but those didnt work well either...Should I do anything to the clones for record and play? all I did was pass them to the 2 classes and those classes just use them straight out without proccessing or anything...

    I am a complete Newbie to Mac and GarageBand. I want to take audio from a portable recording device, via an XLR cable from this device to a 1/8-inch jack into the back of my iMac, and record it into GarageBand. However, I can't seem to shut off the built-in mic in the iMac, because the recording is picking up ambient noise.
    How do I switch the mic to the 1/8-inch input jack in the back of the iMac? (I've created a new track, turned off the metronome and activated the record buttons -- but I still get noise from some mic that is in the iMac rather than getting only the sound track from the portable recording device)

    Sounds like it, yeah.
    assuming that device is meant to connect to a missing console via XLR runs, it would be typically plugged into a mic bus, which is expecting a weak signal (your mac is not: http://www.bulletsandbones.com/GB/GBFAQ.html#micline )
    you might be able to jury rig things if you can jack into a stereo system and take teh stereo system's line-out to connect to your mac.

    My wife has a few voice mail messages on her iphone from her brother(who passed away). She would like to save these in a safe place where she can listen in the future. Recording these messages on an MP3 player as other have suggested, doesn't give us that permanence, security, easy accessability we are looking for.

    I had exported an address book backup: abbu
    so since i wrote, i have found my way into the cloud: selected all entries - deleted them all from the cloud.
    This wiped out contacts on my iphone and i pad, and MBP, as well as on the cloud.  I then imported the abbu back into my now empty address book. 
    To repopulate the crowd, i selected all in my address book and created a single card vCard for export to my desktop.  I then dragged that vcard into my empty cloud.  Now my cloud has the same clean contacts as my MBP addressbook.  The cloud then pushed the clean contacts into my empty ipad and iphone contacts. 
    I had to go back to Address Book>preferences>Accounts and Add an I cloud account - but if you accidentally create a second i cloud account - all of a sudden your address book will duplicate itself.  I quickly reversed it by deleting one of the icloud accounts in my Address Book>preferences>Accounts. 
    I created a new entry on my MBP and it is now on all devices and in cloud
    I also created a new entry on my iPhone and it is now in the address book on my MBP.
    I feel empowered!!
    Have i missed anything??

    Hi All, I am using ECC 6.0 version of SAP. I want to add a custom field inside the DISPLAY tab on the MIRO screen. Please give me any pointers for any USER EXIT or OSS note for MIRO screen so that we can add a custom field under the display tab on th
