Help! Unable to update Adobe CC applications

I am an active CC member but I am unable to update certain CC applications through the Creative Cloud desktop application or by using the *Updates* button under *Help* under each application. For some reason, the *Updates* button is always greyed out.
I successfully updated Muse, Edge Animate and Dreamweaver earlier today, but I am unable to update other applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc. Can you please help me out with this?

Make sure your updates are not disabled and remove files which suppress updates as mentioned in the link.

    I am unable to update my adobe air as i cannot reset my password.  Please advise

    Thank you for your help.  I have suspended Kapersky but I cannot find Air when I search in the Programs and when I try to install I now get a message saying 'it may be your administrator blocking you'.  I am the only user and set up as the Administrator but do not know how to check if this is the case.
    I have managed to install the application that needs Air on an old XP notebook.  Much Appreciation for your help. RJ

  • Unable to update Adobe Muse

    I have been trying for 2 weeks now to update Adobe Muse (and now other Adobe programs as well) via the Creative Cloud application manager. It notifies me that I have 2 new updates available, Muse and also now ReFlow, but whenever I click 'update' the application manager begins to update, but everytime it gets to 35% it just hangs there and stays there (which also starts to make my laptop run very hot). Is anyone else having this problem with the Creative Cloud and Muse? Or any other program(s)? As I said this has been going on for two weeks now.

    Have you tried uninstalling Muse completely > quitting Creative Cloud Desktop app > relaunching Creative Cloud Desktop app > installing Muse?

    When I click on Help>Updates the updates fail to install. No reason for the failure is given and simply directs me to the support centre. I have tried multiple times for the same result.

    I am installing Adobe CS2 from old Power Mac to new Mac Pro and need to get software updates.
    I went to Photoshop/Help/Updates. Click on updates. It tells me I must first update adobe updater. When I tell it to do that it starts to download, then gives the following message:
    Download failed because you are resuming a download but the file on the server has changed.
    Does anyone know what this means? or How can I update my updater????

    I hope you are not simply "copying" from one machine from the other. Also be aware that there are compatibility issues with using this older version of Photoshop on new machines that will not be fixed.
    Why not just go for the upgrade to CS3 which will give you a fighting chance?

    What is the problem you are getting when you try to update Flash? Try the download from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/download/?installer=FP_16_for_Firefox_-_NPAPI&standalone=1

    Ok, let's clarify a few things....
    Updating Adobe Reader should work; do you get any errors when trying to update?
    You write that you have Reader 11.0; is that 11.0.0?  If so, you should update to 11.0.5 in two steps:
    download and run the 11.0.4 installer http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/11.x/11.0.04/en_US/AdbeRdr11004_en_US.exe
    download and run the 11.0.5 patch http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/11.x/11.0.05/misc/AdbeRdrSecUpd11005.msp
    Now to your PDF files you cannot read.  You downloaded the files from the Thunderbird email attachments to your local disk.  When you double-click on these saved files, do you still get an error message?
    Regarding the $39: Adobe does not provide free support for their free products, but these forums act as a free support channel, mostly by fellow users, and sometimes Adobe staff.

    I am newbie (no only for mobile, them for SAP)  i can't run any example! and i really need for your help:
    I have a Pentium IV +2GB RAM + Windows server 2003 + Oracle ( I them try to install the system in a Xeon but i have problems with the SDM password so i can't update the Java Components to  SP 10).
    <b>The Enviroment:</b>
    <b>Sever called erick:</b>
    1) First i install NW2004s  ABAP + JAVA + MI 7.0, SP 6 over Oracle 10.2
    2) After that i Update:
    Kernel to version 83
    SAINT, ABA, Basis to SP 10
    JSPM, NWCLIENT, NWLAP, NWADMIN, NWDRIVERS to SP 10 for MI 7.0
    3) After that, i used the MI template going to my server: http://erick:50100/nwa, login as J2EE_ADMIN, deploy & changes.... it appears to work... but when a login into the web system it says:
       System Landscape Directory is not accessible.
       Local System Only can be administrate. (maybe here is the key)
    <b>On the Client side:</b>
    Windows XP + NW developer Studio Version: 7.0.10 + MI Client (I extract this from the NWCLIENTNT10_0-20000910.SCA, SAP Mobile Infrastructure, Version MI 70 SP10 Pacht 0 )

    Connection to server failled
    Problems in the Syncrhonization Not Found 404; The server has not found anything matching the URI given.
    Basically i can't Syncrhonaze the MI Client with the Server. I search in the Forum, Documentation, Google, Blogs, etc etc, Surely is a configuration problem, please i need some tips.

    Logon failed.
    Note
    Logon performed in system ERI .

    It does not work.
    After i try to synchronize the MI Client (with the services mi_host and mi_services UP). But it does not work. 
    So who is exactly the middleware user? The J2EE_ADMIN? or the one that i create with SAP* to update the system to SP10 (It has SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW permissions, in my case is called eilarraza) Maybe the problem is that i a not using the correct user in the MI Client configuration neither in the test of the service.

  • Can't update Adobe CC Applications - ERROR 39

    Hi
    The update of the CC applications of the last days has been canceled by internet conection problem so it got stoped and give me an error every time I try to update it again. I have tried now to unnistall the apps but then I got error 39 every time I try to install the apps. I have mac 10.8.5  After downloading the app but still in 45% it appears EXTRACTING and then continues like 46% and in 10 seconds it stops.
    Maybe I should uninstall application manager but I don't know how to do it. I have try to use the cleaner but also that doesnt see my programs because they are not installed. I have tried also the Adobe support advisor but it doesnt see any problem. I have try also to install the applications in safe mode but the same ERROR 39 appears. I'm talking about 6 apps so this is a general problem, not just one app error. I have the spanish version and ERROR 39 say something about spanish language.

    Ve a /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/ y busca el alias del desinstalador de programa que te da error y tíralo. Si los tiras todos tampoco pierdes nada. Ahora te tiene que funcionar, el instalador intenta crear el alias pero no puede tirar el viejo puesto que para hacerlo se necesitan permisos de admin.

    Thank you for extending you help.  The issue was Safari was not able to do the download and we needed to use Chrome.

    I am unable to install the update to Adobe Air.  I have run as Administrator but still doesn't work.  I do not get an Error #--just states that an error occurred and to contact my Administrator.  I am the Administrator.  I have Windows 8.  Is that an issue/problem?
