HELP UNABLE TO UPGRADE FIRMWARE!!!!

Hi,
I have a Linksys WRT300N V1. I am unable to upgrade the firmware on it. It fails at about 10%. I really don't know why. Any help would be great. Thank you very much.

Same issue, I have the linksys 300N V1.
Downloaded the latest firmware for V1.1 - WRT300N-v1.1_1.51.2_fw,0.bin (file name 3.6 MB)
And trying to upgrade results in a failure at 6 to 10% everytime? Is this because the V1.1 router is not the same as V1 and requires a different firmware?
Tech support has no idea, OMG!

My problem MIGHT be solved !!! The file "FW_E2000_1.0.03.002_US_20100907_code.bin" i previous downloaded from the linksys download page "http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/wireless/linksys/E2000" was 0 bit.This may course the "Upgrade failure" problem !! But i got 5.16 M when downloading direct from the link "http://homedownloads.cisco.com/downloads/firmware/1224655367476/FW_E2000_1.0.03.002_US_20100907_code..." which was copied from the same page. Unable to upgrade firmware - HP DreamScreen 100

I have updated the HP DreamScreen firmware to 1.6.1 and for the last few weeks I tried to update the firmware and received the following error: "Unable to confirm software version. Please check your network connection or try again later.".
I checked my my network connection and it is good. I am able to connect to SnapFish web site.

I see you're experiencing issues updating the printer's firmware. I would like to help you resolve this issue.
Power cycle the printer.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Print a Configuration Report to see which firmware version you have now. The latest Version is 20140129.
Printing a Configuration Report.
Connect the USB cable from the printer directly to the computer and run the firmware update again, if your version is older. (don't use a USB hub or Dock)
Be sure to select the newly created print queue for the USB connection while using the tool.

Unable to upgrade firmware on LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw - HP Device Update cannot proceed

I just bought a new LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw and was trying to upgrade the firmware to the latest one posted on the support website of HP and the error I keep gettin is HP Device Update cannot proceed. Below is a screenshot
Everything is plugged in and I don't have any errors on the printer. Please help.

Dell PowerVault MD3600f - Unable to upgrade firmware - Data validation error

Upgrade Controller Firmware wizard reports the following error.
1 problem detected.
Data validation error: The storage array cannot be upgraded as host port type representation in Controller A did not match with those of Controller B. Contact a technical support representative to resolve this issue.
What does this mean? and how to fix it.

yes 100% the error is reported from the dell mdsm software.
steps.
1. open mdsm application
2. right click on powervault md3600f
3. select upgrade raid controller module firmware
4. upgrade raid controller module screen apears and refreshes unit(s) status changes to no upgradeable.
5. error apears in the details window.
6. press view log.

Unable to upgrade firmware after upgarde from 10.4.2- 10.4.4???

I have a single proc 1.8 Powermac that needs this update:

I've had my G5 in storage for a little while and it was last running 10.4.2. First thing it did when connected to the web was to update me to 10.4.4. After this I noticed there was a firmware upgrade for the machine that will fix the problems I've been having with it.
Unfortunately, when I launch the installer it tells me that none of my volumes have the right OS version on them.
I've rebooted serveral times, reset the PRAM and finally the SMU and so far nothing's worked.

Looks like it's a bug and you'll need to contact Apple.
Have you done a System Profiler to get your Boot ROM Version?

Uninstall the version of NSU that you have currently, and install the one from this link:
http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/global/phones/software/NokiaSoftwareUpdaterSetup_en.exe
I guess it supports 6280. If you still get the error, take it to a Nokia Care Point to update the firmware.

Unable to upgrade EFI Firmware on MacBook Pro

I am unable to upgrade the firmware on my 15" MacBook Pro for some reason ... my current version is MBP11.0055.B03. I have downloaded the new firmware and followed the instructions ... yet, when I run the MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update utility and click Shut Down to install it and start the process, it pops up with the error "An unexpected error occurred (0). Your firmware cannot be updated." .... I've never had this kind of trouble updating firmware before.....
I have trashed the utility and downloaded it again, but I get the same results ... I have also repaired the disk permissions ... still no change. Any ideas??

I believe that when you reset your ipod(command given from the computer, right?) touch WHILE the ipod was updating, It cleared the system in the middle of writing files, thus corrupting(equivalent of cutting of in the middle of a sentence) the basic running system.
I suggest you go to an apple store and ask for a technical diagonosis in person. they may offer to help if the problem is fixable. If your ipod is still under warrenty, i would guess it would be free/low cost.

Rebuild screen freeze - unable to update firmware as not docking. Help please

Hello, I've got an 8gb Zen.
Always worked fine til I tried one of those hand crank chargers, since then I turn it on and it will freeze on the rebuilding screen.
Ran scandisk on it - no joy.
Wanted to try and update firmware to see if that helped but it will not connect to computer via USB. It will charge from the usb but just not connected, nothing.
Any help appreciated. Thank you

QRe: Rebuild screen freeze - unable to update firmware as not docking. Help please? So, it freezes on the rebuilding screen after formatting? It is very odd. Just to make sure... you have formatted (not cleaned up) the device from the Recovery Mode menu, right?
My only suggestion now is trying to mount the device on another computer (try one with a BSD or Linux operating system) and format it from here. With some luck, you should be able to see it as a new USB dri've. I am suggesting one of these operating systems, as you have a chance to mount your player on them even if it does not boots up properly. (I did it to recover mine just before suspecting there was a discrepancy on the FATs stored of the filesystem.) In your case, you will have a chance to format the device (using a FAT filesystem, of course) from these operating systems. I am, however, surprised to see that the Recovery Mode format function does not do its work on your player.
If your device does not boot up and freezes on the scanning/rebuilding processes there is a chance you have a problem with your filesystem instead of a fried USB port. So, there is a chance you can fix this device yourself yet.

You need to update iTunes on your computer (not the iPad) to the latest version in order to then update the iPad to iOS 5.1.1 (iOS 6 isn't released until the Autumn) - you can check if you are up-to-date (which will prompt you to update if you aren't) via, on a PC, 'Help > Check For Updates', and on a Mac 'iTunes > Check For Updates'
When you have that installed, connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases (you may also want to copy photos off the iPad as well) and then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'. You may also want to copy off the iPad any important documents, notes, files etc e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case.
You can then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button.
