HELP!!!! Up-To-Date updated wrong photo and now i cant change it?

When i sent my request away i just notice i did upload the right photo and now when i go to do a new claim it keeps saying a claim has already been made, what do i do?

I know mine was the same. I'm guessing if you buy the Mac either online or in an offcial retail store then its all on their systems so all they need is the serial and buy date. If you buy from a reseller such as Currys then I'm guessing you need to provide a copy for them...

You should contact Apple by phone as soon as possible. You'll need to change your Apple ID and all passwords.

Try Using Disk Utility to VERIFY your Hard drive and Repair Permissions. If Verify finds problems, you will need to boot to a different Volume (such as your Installer/Utilities DVD and run Disk Utility again from there.

It sounds like the Finder application is not functioning correctly, and quitting unexpectedly. I would start by trying a Safe Boot, then testing the issue to see if Finder will stay open:

That is correct, you will want to sign out of your Apple ID everywhere first before changing it. To get passed this, you will need to change it back to your original one, it will not ask to verify, then sign out. Once you got that taken care of, you can change it back to the new Apple ID that you want to use.

Be sure you're in range of your Wi-Fi router (access point).
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on. If your W-Fi setting is dimmed, follow these steps.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and connected to the Internet. If not, refer to your network administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for assistance.
Restart your iOS device.
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
Tap and Forget this Network.
Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one.

Make sure you're entering your Wi-Fi password correctly. Passwords may be case sensitive and may contain numbers or special characters.
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will reset all network settings including:
previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords
recently used Bluetooth accessories
VPN and APN settings

It sounds as if it may have been hacked to unlock it and updating the iOS locks it back
to the original Carrier
Do you have any error messages ?
and have you tried a reset followed by a restore if reset made no difference
Is your iPhone actually a 3G if so it does not support above 4.2.1

Help, I used the mv terminal command and now I cant find my files!

I used to mv command to move a large 19GB file to my now 3TB external hdd and now I can not find the file! I logged in as root and used this:
mv /Users/username/filename /Volumes/Mac\ OS\ External\filename

Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, provide /Volumes/Mac OS External/ as the path, and drag it to the desired location.

What I'm reading here is that you have attempted to re-activate your iMessaging server several times. For the iMessaging to be enabled it will need to activate betwee your device and the apple server. It CAN take up to 24 hours for the imessaging activation to activate.
You didn't say in your post if the imessaging actually showed as being activated or if it is reading that it is in the process of activating. That would explain why you at one time were able to use iMessaging and now are not long able to use it. IF your imessaging is showing as being activated and still you are not able to iMessaging a contact that at a point in time you were able to message, I would be leaning hard on the server as being the culprit. (understanding that you said you already tried resetting Network settings).

Help! I installed the wrong firmware and now can't access the camera to change it back!

I have done something silly and wonder if you can help to get me out of a fix. Yesterday I upgraded the firmware of my camera and I can no longer see the camera on the network, even when it is connected by a wired connection. I have tried a hard reset but that has not helped.
I now realise that I have upgraded with firmware via a link from the US website and it is a different firmware version to the UK site. It is also designated as a RoSh version (although I do not understand the significance of this). Presumably US networks are set up differently to EU ones?
I upgraded the firmware from version 1.10 to version 1.25 (RoSh). The European firmware upgrade is designated as version 1.21.
The only way forward that I can see is to find a network that will recognise the camera and then change the firmware back to the European one. Any ideas?

Whats the Model number of your Camera. As you have uploaded the wrong firmware of your Camera. I think you can download the Latest firmware from the European website and upgrade the firmware of your Camera using TFTP tool utility.
Go to ftp.linksys.com/pub/network... and download TFTP.exe File on your computer. Once done connect your camera to the Computer and provide a Static IP to your computer.
Double click the tftp.exe file and click run :
For Server- Enter the IP Address of the router that you assigned. By default, the router is 192.168.1.115...
For Password- Enter the password you assigned the camera. By default, the camera’s password is “admin”.
For File- Click the triple “…” button and browse for the .bin firmware file...Click Upgrade button to start upgrading. A progress bar should show up to show the progress.
Once the Upgrade is done press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your camera, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your camera...

I saved my data in Sync, reformatted and now i cant access my data even though i have my username/password.

I have now reformatted my computer, so the old "device" no longer exists, since its the same one im on now... i clicked the lost other device button, it gave me a key but it doesnt work? I agree with jbaldwin9182. This is a serious bug. The way sync is presented, one might easily interpret it as being a way to backup your data. I also used sync as such, having read the description and being assured by two others that really, all I needed to do was make an account and that would be that. Without this sync key I never learned about important data, over half of which irreplacable, disappeared just like that. Why wasn't I given notice that I needed a sync key? I would have saved it five times over.
There are hardly any services which people who know little of computers (like myself) are used to which ask for more than your username/email and password. People are not likely to realise you need anything else unless you tell them. It is easy to tell the user that this was not intended as a backup device, but the description does lead to the conclusion that it is, in fact, a way to backup your data. Please don't tell people they are doing something wrong when they are not being properly informed of what they should be doing in the first place.
