I would recommend uninstalling iTunes and all of it's components in the specified order of the first article. As you are receiving errors regarding the uninstall, see the steps in the second article below.

I updated to new version last week but now can't open my site saved yesterday, asks me to update?
I updated my Muse to the new version and saved my site to another name, then published. Now I can't open the file, the message is that I have to update. I already did. Plus there's no indication on HOW to update if I hadn't. I'm stuck!
www.mill-road.comIf you updated from Muse 7.4 or earlier to Muse 2014 then there are two copies of Muse on your computer. (The 2014 version installs along side the older "Adobe Muse CC" version.) Are you sure you're launching the new version?

Updated to 8.2 itunes but now can't open it
Have never had a problem with iTunes until three days ago when I upgraded to the new version, 8.2. Now when I click on the desktop icon, a message appears telling me that iTunes had found an error and has to close, but it never actually opened! I tried reinstalling the new version two different times, but nothing changed. Would really appreciate some help, advice, answers!! Hopefully nothing too complicated!
The first thing you need to do is to check if Quicktime works normally. iTunes cannot work if Quicktime does not.
IF Quicktime is OK, then use this trouble shooting articel of iTunes:
XP

If Quicktime doesn't work, it has to be fixed first.
Have you installed any of the following:
ACE & K-Lite mega codecs package, QT alternative, Storm codec, WinAVI video converter, Mpcstar, (possibly starcodec pack, 3ivx)
If so uninstall them, they are know to cause problems with QUickitme.
Then/otherwise download the version of Quickime without iTunes:

Now Remove Quicktime using the method for Quicktime in this article (just Quicktime):

When you come to your C:\Windows\system32\ folder you can delete any file or folder with Quicktime in the name.
Restart you computer
Install the stand alone Quicktime and check if it starts.

What is the exact text of the message you get. Take a screen shot (command/shift/4 and post it. Also, what do you see regarding iTunes if you go to App Store/Updates?

my itunes wont open it tells me that my itunes library was updated by a newer version on itunes but my software is uptodate any one else have this prob?
Look under your Start Menu for Apple Software Update, but before doing that, check the time and date on your computer that it's correct.
It's also saying the iTunes Library .XML file in your iTunes Folder file is new, for some reason, but your songs should be still in the iTunes Folder.
You can move the XML file out and restart iTunes and it shoudl creat another, you lose your playlists and have to import all your music again. -

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer? -
I can not sync my IPhone to My Imac. I have the latest version of ITunes on my Imac. I have tried reseting my phone (3), changing ports. Nothing works. I was thinking maybe my phone has the earlier version of ITunes but I can't update it.

Unless you have attempted to downgrade to an older version of iTunes this is likely to be a sign of a corrupt library. See Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.
