Help Updating Firmware on New C3-01

Hi,
I just received my new C3-01 today and it's great. But, I'm having a problem updating to the latest firmware over a WIFI connection. When I attempt to download a software update from the phone it says "no new software update available".
I checked my current software version and it's V 05.60. The Nokia support site says there's an update available (software version 05.65/05.68).
Additional notes: I don't have a data plan so I can't connect over cellular network. Also, I don't have a USB cable that fits this new phone so I can't update via a computer.
Any recommendations on what to do would be appreciated. Thanks!

The Ovi Store is an app, so I got it to work by accessing it directly from the Apps icon instead of the main menu icon.
Try accessing it from: Menu>>Apps>>Extras>>Collection>Store
Load the app. Once it loads it will ask to proceed with an update. Update. That will make the file 1.3MB in size.
I was able to update over a WLAN connection. If you're using WLAN make sure you are close enough to your router to get a good signal.
If you still get a message that says "sorry the store is not available" go back and try loading it again. If you still have trouble, try powering the phone on and off and try again.
In my opinion, the Ovi Store selection on the C3-01 isn't very impressive. Your limited to mostly silly apps and you can't find updates to useful apps like the Opera Mini brower.

Rebuild screen freeze - unable to update firmware as not docking. Help please

Hello, I've got an 8gb Zen.
Always worked fine til I tried one of those hand crank chargers, since then I turn it on and it will freeze on the rebuilding screen.
Ran scandisk on it - no joy.
Wanted to try and update firmware to see if that helped but it will not connect to computer via USB. It will charge from the usb but just not connected, nothing.
Any help appreciated. Thank you

My only suggestion now is trying to mount the device on another computer (try one with a BSD or Linux operating system) and format it from here. With some luck, you should be able to see it as a new USB dri've. I am suggesting one of these operating systems, as you have a chance to mount your player on them even if it does not boots up properly. (I did it to recover mine just before suspecting there was a discrepancy on the FATs stored of the filesystem.) In your case, you will have a chance to format the device (using a FAT filesystem, of course) from these operating systems. I am, however, surprised to see that the Recovery Mode format function does not do its work on your player.
If your device does not boot up and freezes on the scanning/rebuilding processes there is a chance you have a problem with your filesystem instead of a fried USB port. So, there is a chance you can fix this device yourself yet.

Your iPhone's iOS must be same or newer than the one in backups. In your case it is older so you need to update your iPhone and then recover it with backup.

Okay , you should only delete EMPTY DUPLICATED folders, not preview folders or any others. I would put them all back. Then just delete any DUPLICATED EMPTY folders, do not disturb any other folders. On iOS switch off DOCUMENTS AND DATA under ICLOUD in SETTINGS. Do this on all iOS devices not just the one. Once deleted DUPLICATE FOLDERS on the mac in MOBILE FOLDERS then exit the LIBRARY. Open PAGES on your MAC and view folders on icloud. Check everything is all there as expected. If okay then DELETE and re-install PAGES app on iOS - THEN switch on DATA and DOCUMENTS in ICLOUD. Now open PAGES. If you have Time Machine on you can recover any 'lost' doc files and restore them from your mac from pages application. Try the process again and do not disturb any folders other than ones I mentioned as this is the system files LIBRARY. It is not a place to be over zealous in moving, altering and deleting folders and files. Take care please.

I can open Google Chrome and IE without any problems. My new version of Thunderbird won't let me see messages.

Help! Accidently updated firmware of Laserjet pro 400 with Laserjet CP4525 firmware. The printer is now just spewing out pages and never reaches a ready state to put the correct firmware on. I really hope I haven't bricked it just by a silly click.
Can anyone help or suggest a way to put the correct firmware on?

The product might be receiving the earlier sent firmware update as a job in the print que. Delete pending jobs from print queue & connect network cable to printer. The device should perform normal boot till READY state.

I appreciate the responses, however my initial post was too vague. I apologize and will explain. The specific issues are the window closes occasionally when loading something large, that has ceased in the last day or two. My battery life is no where near the second gens, is that the extra hardware at work? I thought that had been accounted for? One of the frustrating, albeit humorous occurrences is when I placed the second and third gen within 1 foot of each other, turned off LTE, and streamed a video. From every location the second gen out ran the new model on 3G signal, lol. Not a huge deal since I have wi-fi or LTE pretty much everywhere I am, but disappointing none the less.
The new apple tv is great, except for the same thing everyone is posting about. HD iTunes library streaming taking overly extended load times. I don't expect it will take too long for apple to address that issue. I'm new to apple, last 6 months, but they seem to have excellent support! It is definetly highly rated.

Something in your backup may be corrupt. Try wiping it and setting it up as a new device, then sync your apps, data and media back to it from iTunes. DO NOT resotre from your backup. If the problem is contained in the backup, it will bring it right back again if you restore.
