I recently upgraded my Iphone 4 to the new operating system Ios7 thinking that the dynamic wallpaper was gonna be on there as I have seen with videos of other iphones that got upgraded to the new operating system. and the Dynamic wallpaper is missing from my phone... where is it???

Contact the carrier... ability to receive government alerts is controlled by the carrier settings.
Does TMO even officially support the iPhone 4?

I updated my iphone and lost all my notes there is lots of important notes, how can i get em back especially that on itunes when i sync my iphone a note appear that there is no back up on icloud,and i cannot restore?

Without a backup on iCloud, there needs to be another device using the same @icloud address that is syncing to the notes. Without that, there is no way to go back in time to create a backup before performing a major update.

Help! Iphone 3GS 5.1 tones NOT syncing

Help, i have been trying to sync my ringtones to my iphone 3gs. i bought them on my 3gs from itunes quite abit ago and when i updated my software they obviously was taken off. and they are on itunes, they show up in the tones part but when i click on sync button on my iphone they dont sync...they say they have but when i go on my phone they are NOT there!!!
some please help me!! by the way yes i am using the newest Itunes, and newest iphone 3gs software

Confirm that:
Your computer is authorized for the Apple ID you used to purchase these ringtones (iTunes>Store>Authorize this computer)
You have selected to sync ringtones on the Tones tab of your iTunes sync preferences
You have check marks next to the ringtones you want to sync
You have checked "Sync only checked songs and videos" on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings
That the file is actually a ringtone (right-click on the file, select "Get Info", on the Summary tab it should say "Kind: Ringtone". ("Account Name:" will tell your the Apple ID used to purchase it for the first point above.)

I posted a fix for this temporary issue earlier but here it is in short:
The memory "hog" that is "others" seems to be the OS as it's installing. It seems to want more than 12GB and you may get stuck at the point where iTunes tries to load everything back on and the iPhone has run out of space. What you need to to is un-check the "sync" box at the apps, music, podcasts and other sections, then click the button to sync iTunes with iPhone. This will result in iTunes deleting all the data it restored, but you'll put it back later. Once you caused the deletion of most of the data, iOS5 will resume installing and then "magically" shrink to less than 1GB. Then you can place check marks back in the boxes and re-sync all your apps and other data. You will have plenty or memory left.
I followed the above procedure and my iPhone works perfectly.

I just upgraded my iPhone to IOS 7. However, when I enter my password to unlock the phone, the phone does not recognise it. Please help as all the online help assumes that I can receive information on my phone, which obviously I can not.

Upgrade iphone to ios7.0.3 now does not sync itunes music

Since I did the upgrade on my iphone to IOS 7.0.3 when I connect to iTunes to sync my latest playlist and music that I have downloaded everything else is syncd but the music does not sync. All the same boxes are ticked as per usual to sync the music on iTunes.
My ipad syncd the music perfectly so must be about the IOS 7.0.3 upgrade I did on my iphone 5S.
Must be a setting on my iPhone that has changed with the upgrade .............. Help

Be warned though. After synced, successfully, with iTunes 11.1, i ended up with over 10GB's of 'Other' data on my iphone. I had to do a factory reset (From iTunes/iPhone/Summary). It's been a pain in the ***, but it all seems fine now. But it has taken me hours. An di now have a headache.
Also, a factory reset will remove ALL your data, and i mean EVERYTHING! You've spend the rest of the day putting everything back the way you like it, and setting up all your setting again.

Ever since I upgraded my iPhone to ios7 I can not get my iTunes app to open. Has anyone else had this issue or know how to fix?

Every time I touch my iTunes app it opens for about 1-2 seconds and then immediately shuts back down. Has anyone else experienced this or have suggestions on how to fix this?

same here its going to be a chanlenging situation from now on, you will have your phone going off and coming back on by itself and also it will go blank or blue, black sreen on you. Also it will ask you to downlaod the app all day or connect to itunes.
You need to call apple directly or set an ppointment at the apple store, to get a new iphone 5S, your not the only one, i order mine from them and will be shipped tomorrow. the Software screwed up everyone Iphone 5S. or at least mine and my friends ipad. We just got our iphones 4 months ago. It was fine till we downloaded this software, get a new phone, there is no bug fixer for this one, trust me, i've tried.

I am on iphone 4, iOS7.0.4, not able to access certain websites.

The weird thing is I could yesterday morning. Now I am unable to. I can access all those sites from my laptop (not a Mac). Tried out all the suggestions I found here as well but to no avail.
1. Settings > Wi-fi > selected my wifi and Forgot this Network.
2. Reboot my phone my pressing my home button and sleep button.
3. Went back to Settings > Wi-fi > reselected my Home wifi > re-entered the passcode.
4. Still could not access certain websites (for instance this!) and apps like Whatsapp, Viber and certain websites on Safari.
Help!

it seems unfair that Iphone 5 gets all the advantage in wallpaper and app quality. I would like an answer on why only future devices get the dynamic wallpapers?

Please help! Iphone 4 has died, will not respond to reset.

I dropped my Iphone 4 around 3 months ago, the back of it is smashed but it still worked fine, after replacing my damaged simcard.
Last night while charging the phone, i went to sleep, I woke up this morning to a blank screen and it will not turn back on.
I have tried pressing power on and the home button and nothing happens...I have tried to connect it to my Laptop via itunes also but because the phone is dead i cannot connect.
Any ideas?

Dropping electronic devices can cause solder joints to crack and not show any symptom until sometime after the fact. If you have tried all of the user troubleshooting and none of that works, then yes, it is a phone issue. I just said it could have been a result of the drop, just manifesting itself after the fact. No matter what you want to call it or how it happened, it is a phone problem. IF the phone is out of warranty the only alternative is the OOW I described or a 3rd party repair facility, your choice.

IPhone 4S ios7 message notifications not going away

My "messages" icon shows that I have 6 new messages but I've read them and they are still showing up as a little 6 in a red circle. I've done a reset of settings, a full restart and everything. I turned off my iMessages and nothing is working. They aren't iMessages they are text messages all from the same number.

This has happened to me twice after updating to ios7 on my iPhone 4s. Both times it occured after recharging the battery directly from a household electrical outlet. The first thing to do is to turn off the phone, and then turn it back on. This has worked for me so far.

I have changed My DNS to Google and Verizon and now get intermittent connections but mostly failure to connect. I believe this is a DNS issue with Apple domain. Have they modified their address registrations? Why is At&T cellular working but not my wireless that's Verizon ISP?

I see no need to downgrade or restore to factory defaults. It is only spefcific to one wifi network - my work. The one at home works fine. I am wondering if the problem has something to do with iOS 6 not liking the router, or the password, etc. Upgrades shouldn't downgrade functionality - why should I have to use the now inferior OS to maintain wifi functionality - that's ridculous. Does anyone from Apple monitor these forums? It would be nice to get an answer from the source of the issue - which is clearly Apple's new OS because everything was working fine before I upgraded to iOS 6 yesterday.
