HELP! URGENT! burn/formatting problems ASAP
when i burn/build/format. in the log it says "warning: the file 'name.layout' found in the video_ts or HVDVD_ts folder will not be included in the final disc...and "warning: the file vob_data.lay' found in the video_ts or HVDVD_ts folder will not be included in the final disc...WHAT IS ALL THIS? ..cuz im having issues playin it in the dvd play..does that have nything to do with it? URGENT..its for a client
No, unless something is very wrong with your system, those files - stuff that DVDSP needs to manage & organize your materials and programming - are not the cause of your issues. Those files have no place on a DVD.
Most compatibility issues - as far as playback is concerned - are caused by media (the disc(s) are bad or just don't play nice with the DVD's player laser), +bit rate+ (your audio and video information go past the limit of what a DVD player can handle) or +authoring issues+ (you goofed when it came to what should happen when your DVD loads, for instance).
The first thing to share is what settings you used to encode your audio and video. And where you encoded - in DVDSP? Or with Compressor?

Help urgently needed: bizarre problem - no audio in imported clip!

I have a bizarre - never the less urgent problem:
When I import some material (presentations) which I have recorded on Mini DV with my Canon MVX10i Camcorder the following problem occurs:
There is one particular presentation which somehow looses the audio during the import process!
That means the imported clip has no audio even though the audfio is on tape! Other clips before and after do not have this problem - the audio is available after the import.
A bizarre but serious problem for me. Any suggestions?

ThorgeI had a similar problem. When I started the tape from the beginning no audio would import. To solve it I started the tape a few seconds in and It seemed to work.

Help(Urgent): Report Font Problem
I am working on a report which supposes to generate PDF formatted report. It turns out that within the report builder, it generates nice PDF report with header font as MONOTYPE CORSIVA.
When this report is put into report server, the header font is changed to ARIAL. Any ideas that where the problem is?

May I know the Oracle Reports version you are using. Whether the Oracle Reports Server
and the Builder is running in the same machine?. If not, check for the installation of the font in the machine where Server is running and add the path to the 'REPORTS_PATH'.
To solve you issue, try using the 'PDF Subsetting' feature.Go through the Chapter-Using PDF in Oracle Reports in "Oracle Application Server Reports Services Publishing Reports to the Web" - http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/reports.html.

Hi every one
I have a problem with date format in my database.
I am using Oracle8 Release 8.0.4.0.0 - Production server.
Generally all procedures in my application runs with the date format DD-MON-YY
I dont know suddenly what happens to this format and it changes to YYYY/DD/MM
and all my procedures will run with the format YYYY/DD/MM then nothing happens in the database.
Please tell me why this date change happening

HELP URGENT Inserting Text problem!
Can anyone tell me where I have gone wrong with my INSERT statement? I want to add user input into my Access 2000 Database when clicking on the button. The code compiles with no errors and when I run it I can get the connection to the database but when I enter data and click on the button nothing happens! Anyway, you need to close the connection object also. With out updating the database you are expecting the database to show results.

if it is for display then you don't need to change it in the model but can link the output text component to a managed bean that gets the stored date value to then change it to the format you prefer. This however may not be suitable if the date should be updated from that column -

Hi have a .csv file and i want to send this file as an attachment using utl_smtp
e.g i had a file xy.csv located at c:\temp and when i call the procedure ,it pick the file c:\temp\abc.csv and send this file as an attachment to specific recipients
Please suggest how to do it .
I have installed utl_smtp and can easily send txt mails but cant do the attachment .
I tried to work with utl_mail but it does't work . please tell me how to do it with smtp .

My phone is: 313 882-9785If it's a thin 1 pixel wide vertical line it's highly likely it could be caused by a defective LCD.
One quick basic way to check is to note the position of the line. Then go to System Preferences, Displays, and lower the resolution. If ther line moves it's on the video and the logic board or video card if fitted is likely to be defective. If the line stays in the same position it's likely to be an LCD fault. Either way to have it repaired you'll need to visit an Apple store or AASP.
The worst offender for this problem is the Late 2006 17" iMac. FOC replacement of the LCD used to be covered by a quality program, but it's now ended.
