Help !! Using Blackberry Messenger cross-bord​er

Help - I am a UK use of a T-Mobile 8310 GPS and am trying to connect via messenger with a friens who is on a Rogers Telecom BB in Canada.  I can add her as a contact, she can send me BB Messenger messages with pics but cannot receive my replies and I cannot initialise conversations.
Any ideas??
I have spoken to my carier and they can't help - she has spoken to Rogers - Ditto !!

I would recommend doing this...
1.  Both of you delete the other from your BlackBerry Messenger as a contact.
2. Remove any open conversation between the two of you either device
3. Both of you do a full reboot: With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
4. Confirm that neither of you is listed in the other's BBM contact list and that no open conversation remains.
5. One of you add the other back as a contact in BlackBerryMessenger... let the other receive and accept the request.

  • Using Blackberry Messenger with 2 Sims

    A friend has a Blackberry 8520 Curve on 02 Pay Monthly and is able to use Blackberry Messenger fine, they wanted to use an Orange Pay As You Go Sim and loaded this with credit and purchased the Blackberry Data Bundle on Orange for £5.
    The internet now works fine with the Orange Sim, but Blackberry Messenger doesn't appear to work with the Orange Sim. Any idea's why??

  • HELP w/ BLACKBERRY MESSENGER

    I need help with the icons next to the contact names on the messenger.  Sometimes its just a smiley face, then sometimes it has what looks like a clock next to it.  WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
    Sometimes it has another little balloon looking thing with lines in it... WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
    I cant find ANYWHERE online or the book where it shows the icon and a description of what it means. So if my Blackberry family could help me out I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you in advance.
    (also if there are any other icons or pics & descriptions I would appreciate all info, thanks)

    The clock looking icon means the message is sending. The balloon icon represent that you have a conversation or multiple person convations going on.

  • Can not use Blackberry Messenger On Playbook

    hi all..... does anyone can explain about my problem......?
    i have blackberry 9780 work on the latest OS, Blackberry bridge 1.0.0.83, BBM 6, and i still cannot use my BBM on my playbook. i already try to delete the bridge on my BB 9780 and reinstall it again and again, i still can't do the bbm right. it always shows blank screen when i tried to load it on my playbook.
    well i tried to use my friend Blackberry the same 9780 OS and BBM, well it works well....
    i also tried Blackberry 9700 with OS 6 and BBM 6 it also do the white screen on my playbook
    does this mean that playbook only work on certain blackberry only?

    You have the latest software versions.
    Try deleting the bluetooth connection between the 
    2 devices, and reboot both devices.
    Try repairing the devices, this worked for me.  
    Are you doing this as a BES, u may have an IT policy in place
    that needs to be removed.

    Note please that this is intended solely for OTA synchronization between your BB and your server...what happens between your server and your MAC is completely a separate matter. On the other hand, if you truly meant to ask about USB sync via LINK, then that's yet another separate matter.

  • Help - my BlackBerry messages are getting stuck.

    I've used BlackBerry messenger for a while but suddenly my outgoing messages seem to be getting stuck. I get a tick to say they've gone but they don't get delivered straight away. I know it's not a signal problem with the receiving BlackBerry as I've tested that. The messages go through eventually, usually when the other person messages me. Any ideas? Thanks

    I would guess you are experiencing some server slowdown, as I have noticed also in the past day some few messages get the tick mark for a few minutes before the D-delivered appears.

    I recieved an e-mail (to both of my e-mail addresses) from Blackberry last night, this is what it read:
    "Hello,
    Thank you for using BlackBerry Messenger. To help prevent unauthorized use of this email address, we need to confirm its ownership. Please ensure that your BlackBerry is turned on to complete the registration. This email will be automatically processed by BlackBerry Messenger. Please do not delete this email until registration occurs.
    If this email is in your Junk mail folder, mark it as "Not Junk". On your BlackBerry Messenger profile screen, click the email address you are trying to register and use the menu key to send the registration again."
    How do I do this?  **I did not recieve these message on my blackberry....but in my hotmail inbox and school inbox**

    I have an unlocked Blackberry Curve 8320 from Canada and am moving to Dublin and need to go with an Irish mobile phone company. To be able to use Blackberry Messenger in Ireland with an Irish company, I was told I need to change the settings to Irish settings. How do I do this?

    If the device is already unlocked then all you need is a sim card with a BlackBerry data plan on it.  No other modifications are necessary.

  • Blackberry Messenger: Cannot receive message from one contact only

    I have been using Blackberry messenger since a few months ago. It has been working fine until 3 weeks ago that it stopped working with only one of my contacts:
    I message with my friend every day and out of the blue one day I can't receive any messages from him anymore, and all the messages I send to him would only turn to "d" status even he's read them already (and he'd appear as away on my contact list with a little clock next to the smiley... messages never turn to "R").
    My handheld is on a BES and his isn't. I am in the US and he is in Europe. Not sure if that's the reason... but I have other contacts that are either on or not on the same BES and there's no problem with them. He also has contacts that are in the US as well and doesn't have any problem with them either...
    We have tried battery pull, shortening name, deleting and re-adding and no luck.
    Can any one please help? Thanks!

  • Strange Text in Blackberry Messenger

    Anyone else had this..Started getting strange characters in the text when using Blackberry Messenger.
    Totally random...sometimes it will be fine and then it will start randomly changing characters....hard to show here as I can't type them..but as if it is typing foreign characters...
    It only happens in messenger.

    Fonts are stored in several places, for example:
    HD/System/Library/Fonts
    HD/Library/Fonts
    Home/Library/Fonts
    Home/Library/Font Collections
    The easiest way to sort them and avoid duplicates etc, is to use Font Book.app which you will find in either your Applications Folder, or in the Utility Folder.

  • Cannot use Blackberry App World or Blackberry Messenger

    I have a Torch 9800 and I have downloaded App World and Messenger but they do not appear anywhere on the phone.  I can see them in my applications list, but no icon and not visible on the home screen.
    How do I get these to work?

    If you are having trouble locating BlackBerry World as well as BlackBerry Messenger , then :
    For BlackBerry App World :
    If you device OS is prior to 6.0.0.706 then try Updating your device software or Download BlackBerry World version 4.0.0.55 which is the best workaround now available for BlackBerry  World also uninstall BlackBerry world from Options > Device > Application Management > Locate and delete BlackBerry  World , then perform another Battery pull restart .
    Then From your BlackBerry Browser browse to http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=appworld3 to download version 4.0.0.55 . In addition check this Knowledge Base for further help :
    KB29422  BlackBerry App World icon is missing after upgrading to BlackBerry App World 4.0.0.63 to 4.0.0.65.
    For BBM  :
    On your Homescreen Go to Options > Device Application Management > Locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from there. After deleting do a Battery Pull Restart like this device POWERED ON remove the battery wait a min. then re-insert it back . After reboot from your BlackBerry Browser browse or Click here www.blackberry.com/bbm and download  the most recent available for your device  . If device prompt for a restart do it .If still unable to view BBM icon on your Homescreen check this Knowledge Base :
    KB23968 BlackBerry Messenger icon disappears from the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone.
    Please try those steps and let us know also perform a Battery pull restart after each install.
    Click " Like " if you want to Thank someone.
    If Problem Resolves mark the post(s) as " Solution ", so that other can make use of it.

  • Blackberry Messenger is not responding HELP!!

    I was able to download the new blackberry messenger 5.0.0.57, at first it worked fine but a few hours later it was and is unresponsive. I can open it up but that is as far as I can get, i am un able to message anyone or use the menus.

  • Please help blackberry messenger

    I had to delete my blackberry messenger last night because I wasn't receiving or sending any messages correctly.  Now I am trying to re-load it.  It stops at like 1140kb and it has to get to 3100kb.  Is there any other way to download it back on my phone?  Please help

You can drive as many packages you want across the border as long as each order is under $200 US and the total is under $2500 US otherwise you should use a customs broker. 2. You have to pay an $11 fee at the Point Roberts border to drive these goods in. 3. You need a manifest of items. Questions: 1. Could someone tell me what sort of manifest I need to bring in (maybe point to an example)?  2. Should I bring copies of every auction to prove they were under $200?  Every Paypal invoice? 3. Are there any other gotchas I should know about? Thanks.
