HElP ..... Very Frustrated

Ok..I purchased my iphone on Friday and had no problem setting it up through itunes....I went back the next day to add music to my phone and when i plug my phone up to my computer to connect to itunes it aborts my computer EVERYTIME......I use a Sony Vaio laptop and have never had troble with it......if i unplug the phone then the computer works fine again.....as soon as i try to pug it back up in itunes...the computer aborts and restarts and will do this over and over as long as the phone is plugged up......i have deleted and reinstalled itunes over and over and still does the same thing.....called apple.....said they never heard of this happening.......so, I can not put any music or sync anything to my phone because the computer shuts down when i plug the phone in......does anyone have any sort of idea that might help me...thanks Cheryl

You probably have a Logitech webcam. The older drivers are not compatible with the iPhone, but if you update the drivers that should fix the problem. See:

absolutely that is frustrating. if the battery life is fine there could be two things software or hardware. to find out if your back up your information in itunes and import pictures and then restore the phone as NEW then you can test it out. if it is still shutting off it is hardware related

Hi Jeff I have uninstalled Muse from my applications and have tried to download the new version but it displays a message 'file not found'. I have included a screenshot.

My Apple TV suddenly stopped connecting to the server and the network. All devices in my house work just fine. Habe tried unpluggin, reset all settings, and disconnecting wireless and reconnecting, nothing works. Please help very frustrating

I am working with the Green Grocery Newsletter Template, and I am trying to substitute the text. As an example of my issue, when I highlight the title text and start typing, it turns blue, even though the text color box still shows green. Actually, any text I try to replace turns blue! If I try to change the color of my blue text, the text color box shows the new color, but the text on the template is of course, still blue.
Please help:)! So frustrated and on a deadline.

Just wondering, when you pull up the inspector, is the writing that is coming up blue a hyperlink (when you click on it, will it take you to a web page or an e-mail)?

After interrupting iPhotos import to mac from iPhone, it is not allowing me to shut down computer as it says 'Importing photos from library' i also cannot import photos from phone! Please help, VERY frustrating. Thanks.

After recently purchasing a mac i decided to upload my photos from my iPhone to iPhoto. I accidentally disconnected the charger and now whenever i click 'import photos' it tells me that iPhoto is 'importing photos to library' which i can tell you it is not. because the phone is not connected and it has been doing it for days now.i tried to force quit and it hasn't work. It won't let me shut the computer down now either as it thinks it is currently importing something so i have to wait for the computers battery to die which is ridiculous. Becoming increasingly frustrated with this problem and not sure where else to turn. Please help. Thanks, Neil.

If the  ➙ Force Quit method won't let you shutdown iPhoto try this command in the Terminal:
killall iPhoto
followed by the Return or Enter key
It might take more than one go for it to take.
Failing that close all other applications and hold the power button down until the computer shuts down. Reboot and try iPhoto again.

ok my question is a concern i have with HD video. My goal is to import the footage into FCE, edit and then finish the project and burn to a DVD with or as close to the same quality i shot in.
I shot HD footage using an HVX200 on a p2 card. The settings were 720p 24fps 16:9.
the method of burning i was taught was to export the FCP session as a quiktime then use IDVD to burn.
Some issues i have had in the past is stretched picture,bad quality too compressed.
I just want to see if there are anyways that worked for you guys i can go by. Thank you so much for your help, first time poster long time reader.

Hey thank you very much for the reply. I was alittle lost in that thread because it went to talking about putting the file on a USB then to HDMI etc. I got lost cuz that's not really what i am asking.
The one part i get is that you can't burn HD because there is no such thing as HD DVD.
What i am asking is to keep as close as i can, is there anything i should know before importing my footage info FC like session settings etc and what are the settings i should use when exporting to quick time. Actually maybe i should mention the purpose and how the video will be used. I will be using it for high quality facebook video, and high quality youtube.
My main goal is to have it 16:9 without it looking stretched just fitting to whatever it's being viewed on?

Please Help, Very Frustrated - iPhoto 11 & Canon Raw(.cr2) files

I recently started shooting raw(.cr2) with Canon 6D (on the list), while on vacation of course.... while there I loaded all my images to my Ipad to save room, due to only having my 16gb memory card with me, yesterday I decided to take them off the ipad and store them in iPhoto where all my work is stored and back it up to my external harddrive, I have tried for 4 hoursto figure out why it won't upload to iPhoto 11, nothing works, it acts as if its uploading and then after 30 mins it says unrecognizable format(see screen capture below).
I have read several other different forums and similar questions all the way back to 2005 and nothing seems to help, I tried making a smart album, updating the software, but iPhoto will not recognize the pics. I did find one forum that said use Image Capture and do it that way, It worked to move them off the ipad but only to my extrenal hard drive with no image preview, saying it cannot open the file, all I eally want to do is have them load like all my other images into iPhoto which I use almost everyday and not have to go back to shooting jpeg along...PLEASE HELP any suggestions??

Thanks everyone...I tried and even downloaded the specific software released from Canon specific for Mac for my camera a Canon 6D... Nothing worked... IPhoto never would recognize the images....
BUT ..... in case someone else has this problem... I had to jump through hoops to figure it out... but finally with the help of several forums on here... I figured out a way to save my images and have them in a jpeg format to save for my memory folder for my daughter....so I did figure out a way to make it work...
If you transfer for images from camera(in raw format .cr2) to your ipad...... and cannot load them to iphoto like me....here is how to do it....
1. I searched my Mac, it comes with a software installed called "Image Capture" find it and load your pictures on
          your ipad to a folder on your desktop for easy finding.
2. Search Google and Download Program Called Rawker....
3. Open Rawker... go to File
                              a. Select Batch - Select source Location - Select your file you saved your images in
                              b. Select File Batch - Select Source Destination - either make a file on your desktop or
                                        select where you want your newly converted RAW/jpeg images to be placed
                              c. Select File batch and Start Batch...
4. After its done with the convert - you can import that new .jpeg folder of images to your iphoto
Bunch of crazy circles because I was told it was better to shoot in Raw .cr2 ... NOT ... It might be if you have the right program but I guess none of the ones I tried worked....
Until I find a better way I will just go back to shooting in jpeg fine.

Activation problems with Cingular. Please help very frustrated

Ok, here is the deal, I live in Orlando, FL most of the time, but I am in Michigan and I bougt 2 iphones today, that was 1000 bucks, plus 200 in security deposits. I went to cingular, payed the deposit, and now that im at home, i cant register the product. I have been on the phone with cingular suppost getting different reasons why i cant answer but i still want to check it out here. Im getting an address verification problem. The guy is saying that when we payed the sucurity deposit, we put our florida market address on file with the Pre Approved Credit Check Number. THere saying our sim cards are michigan sim cards, and its not letting me register because of the sim cards are not in the same market as the credit check number. I tunes keeps giving me an error of address though. Is anyone receiving this same problem? The error is saying that they cannot verify the address on file, as the address that im typing in, even though it is the same address. We tried changing everything to michigan, and still got the same problem. We changed the address on the credit check number, and the address that im trying to register in michigan.

You can only imagine that im upset not being able to even power the thing up. It wont let you go past the emergency call feature since its not activated.

Heres what you have to do Rodd...I used to be a RSM for Cingular.
First you need to cancel your first activation because your sim cards have been set up with activation in Michigan you will get a Michigan area code, prefix, etc. If you did not set it up with the exact are that you paid the deposit in, then you will not be able to activate it.
Ex: if I live in Texas, but want a California number, I have to go to Cali and set up my account, and then come back to Texas and I will have my Cali number while living in Texas.
If you tried to set it up wrong to many times it flags your account.
Either go back to the store you got them in and pay the security deposit again, or go to the closest ATT store in the area you would like to have your area code, prefix, etc. in.
Example: if you want a Michigan number, then go to Michigan..and set up your account all in the same place that you want your number....Billing addresses can be different but the activation address will be where the iPhone number is given from.

I cant access icloud, my email address has changed recently and I cant use any emails and passwords or set up a new id, cant get hold of apple support for help, very frustrated!

If you are trying to change the iCloud ID ("email address") you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. I’ve tried the usual recommended steps: deselecting calendar and contacts in the iCloud control panel and then re-selecting, signing out of the panel and back in, and repairing the Outlook installation in control panel. I even uninstalled iCloud on the PC and downloaded it again (same version).

Photoshop CC program error when opening or placing files. VERY FRUSTRATING PLEASE HELP.

I'm an advertising graduate student that relies heavily on Adobe programs for my multiple simultaneous projects throughout the school year, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Muse, Edge Animate and Premiere Pro.
I'm using a MacBook Pro running OS X Yosemite.
I have been experiencing an incredibly frustrating issue with Photoshop and Muse, both CC 2014. I'll speak about Photoshop in this thread since, well, this is a Photoshop forum. This has been happening for almost a year now. I figured Adobe would've fixed this problem by now, especially given the myriad of crash reports I send.
While working in Photoshop, sometimes when I go to place a file I get an error message that says "Could not complete your request because of a program error." It used to be that this error was fatal and I would have no other choice but to force quit out of Photoshop and restart it. We all know how incredibly time-consuming it is for Photoshop to open (especially 10-15 times in one sitting), and being in grad school, time is not something I have a lot of when I have deadlines and projects due.
This error is still happening and for the same reasons; however, now I can still continue to work on my file, as long as I don't need to open a document or place an image...which doesn't help very much because I'm doing a lot of mockups and composites and need those functionalities. It happens probably 90% of the time when I try to place or open a document.
For the record, it's a similar issue that's causing Muse to crash as well. When I try to add an image file, it causes the entire program to crash "unexpectedly," as Muse so eloquently puts it.
Until recently I had kept CS6 on my hard drive and would dig it out to use in place of CC when PSCC would crash; however, someone told me that having both versions was likely the cause for the crashes. After much hesitation, I finally uninstalled all of CS6 from my hard drive the other day (the right way, not into the trash can, since someone is inevitably going to ask that question) and I'm still having this problem, and now I don't have my CS6 version to fall back on and now I'm in a really bad spot.
I apologize for all the rambling, but I'm really very, very frustrated with this error, and I had to do something while waiting for Photoshop to restart. Someone please help.

I am having the same problem. I have just tried this. Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. On itunes the "On this iphone" tab the songs remain there but greyed out.
