HELP! Videos showing up as "??"

Hi!
I recently upgraded my Droid Eris to a Blackberry Curve 9330, which is, by the way, MUCH BETTER.
Verizon was able to move all of my files (video, music, contacts, etc) onto my new phone. However, I have a problem: All my videos show up as "??". It's so annoying.. I've renamed every one and the file itself is telling me the name worked, but, in the list of all my videos (Media folder), it still says ??. I can't tell the difference between my videos because they're all called ??.
Is there any way to change this?

What format are the video files you have?
Are the supported by BlackBerry? See this link.
Have you done a reboot of the device since transferring the vid files over? Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescirbed for most gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

Please help. when I click on a single picture or a folder of photos in finder, preview launches and opens virtually all photos in rapid fire succession. I turned off the setting that restores open windows when you restart the computer. That did not help. It has assigned the name "untitled" to my photos. i don't know what to do. Apple doesn't know what to do. the imac was purchased 6 months ago from apple store in king of prussia PA. I have taken a video showing what happens. i can send this to anyone who wants to see what is going on.
Please help. This problem persists after restarting and after closing everything down.

Change your iCloud ID password: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5624. After doing so, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new password.

What you could do now is break up your video into smaller parts and render them out, then assemble them again as a whole.
I know this is not the best fix, but it might work.
You can duplicate an edit in the main screen, then delete the last bits and export,
do the same for the other half.
Then import the two bits (or more if you need) in a new edit.
Out of curiosity, can you post what format the video is in?
Copy a video straight from the camera to your computer.
Open it in Quicktime player, and with out playing type Apple + i
or Control + i for PCs
It should tell you lots of info about the video, and might help us to see what is wrong.

How do I get the shape/line 'properties window' on Photoshop sc4. (mac) It shows it on the help videos but I cannot find it?

For a crisp border of any color or any size, Just expand the "Canvas" by 0.5 inches or whatever dimension your file needs.

I have the same issue. If you are exporting from iMovie version 10.0.1, I run into the same issues if I export directly to YouTube or if I export to file then upload to YouTube.
Google's help file doesn't properly address this problem and thier help is also out of date. In talking to a support rep at Apple, they said the export to YouTube should just work or the exporting to a file then uploading otherwise it's an issue for Google support.
If someone can post a solution that works (is a streamable format - which is different than the format that YouTube accepts as it will accept many formats but take a long time to process them), I'd be interested to hear also.

Answers in this forum have shown different things have worked for different people.
For some clearing YouTube cookies and the cache solved the problem. For details of how to do that see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Deleting+cookies and https://support.mozilla.com/kb/How+to+clear+the+cache
Others had to go a step further after deleting YouTube cookies and block YouTube from saving cookies. In the Tools menu select Options to open the Options window. Go to the Privacy panel and make sure it is set to "Use custom setting for history". Click the Exceptions button, type in http://www.youtube.com and click on Block
Another option is to disable hardware acceleration for Flash. To do that right-click on a Flash video, select Settings, go to the first tab of the settings for the option to enable/disable hardware acceleration for Flash. Why does my video shows interlacing effects

I am importing HD videos from my Canon Legria HF200. On my user account the videos show interlacing effects, while on the other user account on the same iMac the videos are perfectly imported. We looked in preferences in order to find differences in settings but we could not find any.
I guess I modified a setting somewhere on my account which my partner did not on his.
I tried updating iMovie but it is already the most recent version (9.0.2).
I tried reinitializing the settings but could not find how to do it.
Can anybody help?

This is a known issue with all Canon Legria (PAL) camcorders. If you do a search with the term Legria, interlacing and iMovie you will find a number of threads.

Video shows without sound

Hi, I just bought an IPod - 30 Gb, it was working fine until I tryed to play some videos with it, it takes forever to convert a video but after it was done I transfered it to the Ipod, the video shows up fine but no sound is coming off the headphones, I tryed with like 3 or 4 videos, all of them had the same problem, I would apretiate some help with this matter. I´m pretty sure the problem is with Itunes program because the video in the pc has no sound either.

Imovie slide & video shows

Hi - Im a little confused and frustrated. I prepared a photo slideshow in imovie and I also have selected video clips in imovie which I want to intersperse with this slideshow so it becomes a combined slide & video show. So I may start with three or four slides, switch to a video clip then back to slides for a while then insert a further clip and so on. Is this possible and how do I do it? Ive trawled through a bunch of google how to's and apple community answers but there doesnt seem to be any easy answer except go back to iphoto and import from there which becomes tedious having done it all before. I would also like to keep the inserted maps that I made for the slide show. Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi. I don´t use Iphoto, but after trying too upload from the Facebook app, I found out that the video isn´t saved as a finished video. (you can still edit it)
I used the iMovie app to save the movie as new finished movie. Open iMovie , those video, select your video, click the share button i down right corner. Push create movie (I guess, mine is in danish) play the movie or not, push the back button, change the name or not, push the share button, save the the movie. Now I think the movie can be exported to iphone. It also can also be shared in the Facebook app i closed groups, so you don´t have to put in on your wall first.

No Video Showing in Program Monitor

I've just recently ran into a strange bug where no video shows up in the program monitor of my Premiere CC (latest version) when scrubbing through the timeline. Hitting play/space bar also does nothing; no time code rolls, the scrubber doesn't move, nothing at all. Here's a screen recording of what I'm seeing.
I've tried deleting prefs, cleaning caches, deleting caches completely, and I've even tried the awesome tools over at Digital Rebellion to see if that would help get things working – nothing helps. Just as an fyi: when opening the same project from the same drive on a different machine, the same stuff happens – so I've at least narrowed it down to something inside the project file. (??)
Also, when I try and save the project to quit out of Premiere to attempt more troubleshooting, Premiere CC hangs, and I end up having to force quit the application. After doing that, I see a strangely named project file pop up next to my original project file.
Does anyone have any other ideas on how to troubleshoot and/or fix this? I've searched these forums, google, etc. but haven't been able to find anyone with a similar problem. Thanks in advance!

Yes quite odd indeed. Those were some great bits of advice. I tried creating a new project and importing the problematic sequence. I ended up having to do it twice because the first time it didn't really work, but the second time everything imported correctly, and I now have video in the program monitor.
Not sure what happened, something to that other project file apparently, but now it's fixed and I believe it was thanks to just creating the new project and importing the old sequence into the new one.

DVDSP Help - Video not playing in Viewer during some assets, only audio...

Video not playing in Viewer during some assets, only audio until paused. once you hit the space bar or pause, the video shows up in viewer? same results when burnd to disc.
when dragging cursor through out timeline (track 1) video shows up in viewer fine too.
any advice on what could be wrong?
at first i was thinking this was a memory problem, i added another Gig of ram and the problem still exhists.

It's a kind of bug in DVDSP Simulator. If you build your project in your hard drive and test it with DVD Player all video will play fine.
I would like to tell you where exactly the problem is located, but it's just a Simulator problem.
Try building your project.

Chrome maintains it's own version of Flash Player, but they've recently switched from the NPAPI (Netscape Plug-In API) version that we ship for Firefox and Safari to the PPAPI (Pepper API) version. This may be a bug that's unique to the PPAPI version of Flash Player.=
What's the URL to the game/video that you're seeing the problem with?
I checked a few videos with my machine and they played fine.

Embedded videos show up as blank spaces

All embedded flash videos show up as blank spaces, audio still plays and I can still click it as if the video was there but I can't see it.
Tried all of the supposed "fixes"
-Cleared cache and cookies
-Started in safe mode
-Disabled addon
-Fresh install of firefox
-Fresh install of flash
-Turned off hardware acceleration
Absolutely none of them helped at all

Thanks but that doesn't help at all and is marginally relevant. All plugins are enabled. Audio still plays and I can still use the buttons on the video player but the video is a blank screen.
