Hey, my core voltage is 1.70 and the aux voltage is 1.23 , is this normal or am i screwed?! :D ?(  )
Please help. Anything.

Is the PC running stable? If yes, why wonder about the voltages.  Only look at those if you have severe problems.

    I really need someone with high expertise to help me. Obviously i appreciate any help given but please dont say point less comment like reboot the phone or turn autobrightness off.
    Here is the issue:
    I have had several iPhones, right from the first to the 5. Lucky me. But i have always had the same issue. The screen brightness is significantly lower than any other iPhone that I compare it to.
    Now i have the iPhone 5, if i compare it to anyone elses the brighness is much lower. Autobrightness is off. When i first got the iPhone the brightness was like everyone elses.
    i only use the official charger. I think there may be a problem with the voltage or the electricity in my home as all my iPhones have had this problem. Im not sure when the change happens but the something is damaging the backlight of my iPhones. No idea what.
    Please can some one with the same issue or knowledge of physics please help me. I dont want to keep having this issue. I also have a Macbook pro and am fairly sure its happned with this also but have no means of comparison as I dont know any one else with one that comes to my apartment.

    The iPhone 5 has full Warranty. Make Genius reservation and take to Apple Store. Show the Genius the problem and they will replace your iPhone 5 with a perfect iPhone 5 without problems. If some of iPhone 5 have this problem, it does not matter, Apple makes millions of iPhone 5, some are going to have a problem. When the Genius gives you the new replacement iPhone 5 test it out in the Apple Store before you leave, so you are happy and do not waste anymore of your time.

    I recently (less then a month) bought a new Intel based iMac (17/1.83/512/160/COMBO/AP-USA) with built in iSight, and now I am moving to UK for a year. I want to take my iMac with me. Can someone help me with true answer on how to solve the voltage issue. I did some research on here and else where but could not come to any conclusion yet.

    Thank you very much for your help. I am well aware of plug/pin adaptor to connect US plug in to UK outlet, I have been UK and Euro frequently but always with my Macbook which never had any problem cause all notebooks comes with power adaptor. This is first time I will be going with iMac that doesn't have power adaptor to convert voltage.
    All I need to know can I just plug directly into wall outlet or will need a convertor in between. I am not sure is my iMac has auto switching inbuilt.

  • Using DAQ-assist to input a waveform; need help building a counter to count voltage "spikes"

    Hey all! I'm pretty new to labView and even newer to this forum, but its nice to meet you all...I hope that perhaps someone can help me with my problem.
    Allow me to begin by detailing the specifications of the problem.  I am an undergraduate student, and have a job doing research in a MEMS (micro/nanotech) lab.  The graduate student I am making this program for is working on biomedical applications;  eventually, the program will be connected to a microdevice that has a tiny channel in it, cut through a wee little capacitor, which blood will run through.  As red blood cells pass this capacitor, the voltage will spike; meaning that for each voltage spike, we can (and are trying to) count the number of red blood cells.
    However, I am still in the early developement of the program, so this above specific info is not that important.  Basically, I am using a function generator to input a waveform to the DAQ assistant of, say 500 mV.  I am trying to write a program that increments a counter every time I turn the voltage above say 550 mV (peak-to-peak), counting the number of simulated "spikes."  I have tried quite a lot to write a working program, and although I have not gotten it to work yet, I will post a screenshot of my most recent attempt HERE:

    Hey guys, it's been a while!  A lot of stuff has been happening in my life and I have had virtually no time to work on my LabView project.  
    I did create a LabView program based off IanW's reccomendation.  I am unsure of what exactly is going wrong, but when I run it, only a simple "snapshot" of a waveform from the DAQ shows up in the graph.  Even when I put the DAQ assist in a seperate while loop, the same thing happens.  I am including a screenshot of the project in case I am messing something entirely different up.  If you happen to read this, I really appreciate your help and thank you Ian! 
    I am also having a random issue with the filter signal VI.  So that background signals in the actual experiment do not read as "spikes" I have been instructed to include a high-pass filter in the VI.  However, everytime I use the high pass filter VI, it botches my signal and turns it into a bunch of noise!  I, nor my graduate mentor (who isn't too well-versed in LabView) have any idea why this is - we've tried using different types of filters to no avail.  
    Lastly, I would like to talk to Peter about a few questions I had abour LabView design.  In case you're still around, I will write another post later today with more detail.  In the meantime, I will try to find some of the example VIs about shift registers   All who read this have a great day!

  • Help! Want to read from a xl file and get an output voltage value!!!

    I`m a beginner, so please help..
    My program should output an voltage value that is read from an xl-file with one collum. The most important is that each values in the xl graph should be read per iteration. So that the file is read over time. I want to use this xl file to controll the output signal over time.
    Can anyone show me how this VI would look like, and what would the xl file look like??

    The easiest way to do this is to save your Excel file as a comma or tab separated text file and not the native Excel format. Then you can use Read From Spreadsheet File (on the File I/O palette). Using this, you can read the file all at once and then just have a 1D array that you can wire to a while or for loop so that with each iteration of the loop, you get one element in the array. A for loop automatically indexes an input array. Reading the file all at once will be more effecient that reading the file line by line.

  • Need help getting a voltage and current reading with myDAQ

    I have set up a VI using the DAQ assistant with the myDAQ, I am using the ai0 port for a voltage reading and using the DMM for my current reading, the circuit is working as I am measuring the voltage on a resistor after the ammeter but I am unable to get a current reading in order for it to work. If I have something wired wrong please let me know, thank you. My circuit is a 12VAC power supply, going through a potentiometer to drop the voltage to 8VAC, which passes through a resistor, ammeter is in series after this and attached to another resistor to complete my loop, the AI0 for my volt meter is connected across the second resistor, I have the proper voltage reading when I run the VI, but am unable to get a current reading to display.     I mean I can't get a proper current reading as a numeric value, I have my power supply going to a potentiometer to change my voltage level and then have 2 resistors, I am measuring the current between the 2 resistors. By doing so I am getting a value but not the same value I am getting on my multimeter, I am also having trouble with the calculation using the formula R=V/I in my formula node. If I use input controls I can get the formula to work properly, as soon as I connect it to the outputs of what I am trying to read, the formula node doesn't work.

  • Help lowering the voltage

    Hello all. I've came to this forum before, asking help to overclock my i5 3570K on my P67-GD65 motherboard. As I was running in to trouble with a game I rolled back my OC. Had it happily at stock for a while.
    A few days I've turbo overclocked it to 4.1, not to shabby. The problem is, when at full load voltages are at 1.360. In my point of view, it to damn high!
    I know that if I set the Vcore any other than AUTO I'll lose all power savings, and I don't want that... Could this value being so high because I have Vdroop set to High? On my BIOS I can only set it to High or Auto so I guess I don't have much to do 
    Can someone help me to reduce voltages so I can reduce temps also? While gaming (Skyrim, World of Tanks) tops out at 60º although I think it's a bit high with such conservative OC.
    Disabled EIST, C1E, Spread Spectrum, EuP 2013, Overspeed Protection, C-State.
    My relevant specifications:
    Intel i5 3570K
    MSI P67-GD65 (B3)
    Corsair A50 with Be Quiet Shadow Wings
    Corsair PC3-12800 1600Mhz Vengeance CL9 2x4GB

    Select option 1 and point the tool at the entire compressed archive (do not extract the attachment)
    Point the tool at your fat32 formatted usb stick and then boot to that usb when the tool has completed its work.
    Can I roll back to the stable one I have now if I have problems? Any chance of bricking the board with this beta?

    I have just bought a new grapohics card (ASUS V84400 DELUXE GEFORCE 4 TITANIUM 4400) and the program Smart Doctor (included with th graphics card) warns me that my vga card voltage 1.5 is out of safe bound and that my moterboard does'nt supply with reliable 1.5 voltage. Please help me!!!!! I run my graphics card under 4x. Please Help!! ;(

  • Need VI design help, trying to output continuous voltage

    This is one of my first attempts at this, so please bear with my elementary level questions.
    I'm running LV 8.2.
    Using the NI USB 6211 Multifunction I/O
    My VI seems to work with the exception of a couple issues I'm not sure how to resolve. 
    1) I would like to turn on my voltage output (2v) on a true condition and have it stay on until the condition changes.  When the condition changes to false, the output should turn off and stay off until the condition changes once again.  Currently, when the loop is true the output turns on, but turns back off before the while loop iteration completes.  So I end up with a on then off at the speed of the loop.  How is this corrected??
    2) I would like the indicator lamps on the front panel to be on only when the respective output is on.
    Please have a look, any and all comments are appreciated.

    I tried somthing like you proposed, only I used a mean value from the mathmatic functions pallet.  This does change the output to a single floating point value.  However, I still have the same palsing response.
    Your correct, I am collecting a accelerometer value from a vehicle application.  This measures roll acceleration.  If the value is more than .2g it should activate the 2v output to fire a damper for the appropriate side of the vehicle and maintain the 2v until the condition changes.  If the value is less than -.2, the other side damper should fire and stay on until the accel changes condition.  But it doesn't maintain the output signal.  Instead it cycles on then off every loop iteration.
    I also have to figure out hoe to have my indicator light come on only if the respective damper is active.

  • P55M-GD45 Vcore Voltage Help

    I've read the sticky, I know about pg up/pg dn and the +/- keys.
    My problem is that I can't manually set the vcore voltage in the Cell Menu. It says Auto (greyed out) and when I do pgup I can increase the voltage up to about +.303, but it doesn't allow me to manually set the voltage, nor undervolt it.
    I've updated the BIOS to 1.8, but still no luck.
    If anyone has any suggestions, please help.

    To be honest, I fail to see the problem you are having with the voltage.  That means that either I am terribly misunderstanding what you are trying to say or that you are misunderstanding the way the voltage settings work. 
    Can you please try to elaborate what exactly it is you are trying to do with the system?  It is irrelevant at this point, what the system will be used for.  What is of importance is what clock speeds you are trying to run the system with, what exact settings result in an unstable system and which settings have been working for you.  Within a certain clock speed range from the default settings, increasing the core voltage of the processor may not even be necessary.  It all depends on what you are actually aiming for.
    In terms of current system settings, you have not really told us much so far:

  • PS4 voltage, please help!

    Hi, I just bought a PS4 in the States but I live in Israel, where the voltage is 220 instead of 110. I checked at the back of the PS4 to see if it would support 220V but it only says 120V, so I thought of using a voltage transoformer. However, in the instructions it says 'Do not connect the AC power cord to a voltage transformer for overseas travel because it may cause heat to build up in the system and may cause burs or malfunction.' What should I do?

    I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but as explained in this article on Sony's official PlayStation support site, PS4 consoles sold in the United States are only intended to be used in North America. Sony does not provide information on adapters or converters made to override territorial restrictions, and owners of U.S.-purchased consoles are not advised to travel with their PS4 outside of the United States.
    That being said, I'd encourage you to follow up with Sony's technical support team when you have the chance to do so. While I cannot make any guarantees, they may be able to help you find a solution.

  • Need voltage help

    my v core is set at 1.55
    memory at 2.55
    agp at 1.5
    im not exactly sure what all of that is but...
    with vcore right now its 1.07
    3.3 is 3.04
    5 is 4.95
    12 is 11.96
    so what exactly am i looking for when i overclock? i have a really cheap psu so i just want to make sure everything is where it should be when i OC

    Don't look at tha numbers any software tool tells u. There inacurate.
    2 voltages are usually raised when overclocking:
    vMem, the memory voltage
    vCore, the CPU core voltage
    Raising the voltage will not make stuff faster.
    Raising the FSB (HTT on AMD64 boards) or multiplier will make the CPU run faster. At some point it will become unstable, raising the vCore can help to make it stable again.
    Same goes for memory timings and the vMem.
    Raising voltage makes componts run hotter and wear faster, occasionally u may also blow soemting up if u raise the voltage too high 

  • WEIRD RAM Voltage Problem. Really happy for some help =)

    Hi I have a K8N Neo2 Platinum motherboard with BIOS version 1.4.
    I have a wonderfull set of OCZ PC-3200 Platinum rev.2 RAM that preferably should have atleast 2.75 V. They do work with less, but stability can suffer in some cases.
    My problem is that if I choose 2.75, 2.8 or 2.85 V in BIOS I still end up with 2.7 in Windows. Only by increasing the voltage in windows with, for example, Corecenter can I reach a voltage over 2.7. Why do I have this problem? Is there any simple way to fix it?
    I mean, I think that if the MB was broken in any way (hardware wise) so shouldn't it be possible to change the voltage through windows (the voltages are correct BTW and the MB show no other signs of error except this).
    Is this a know bug in any way for the MB or the 1.4 BIOS version? And as said before, do anyone know how to fix it?

    Edit: one more question while Im at it. As many others I have freezing problems with my 6800 ultra. Is there any trick/BIOS that solves this (I know disable AGP fastwrites... helps and disable NV/Ati speed up... but except that).

    The bug is most likely corecenter. It seems to report things wrong for most people. Try using speedfan or similar program to verify voltage before you get too concerned. Just dont use mbm 5, people have reported problems there as well. You can get speedfan at www.guru3d.com.

  • HELP! - Voltages for Overclocking Q9450 on the MSI P7N Diamond (780i chipset)

    Hey.  I fully understand the settings as far as frequencies go, but am a total voltage newb.  No matter what I do I cant seem to get a stable vista load up with my voltage settings. 
    Please help me by providing suggested voltage settings for my hardware.
    CPU - Intel Core2Quad Q9450
    RAM - 6 gigs of DDR2-800 rated at 2.1V
    VIDEO - Dual Nvidia Geforce 8800GT's in SLI
    MOBO - MSI P7N Diamond, based off the Nvidia Nforce 780i SLI chipset
    My cooling is sufficient, and I have the BIOS version 1.2
    I also turned off all of the overclocking not friendly functions, example: spread spectrum, and DOT, ETC....
    I am trying to run my CPU at 3.2 GHZ (400 mhz before multiplier)
    my settings I want are (as shown in the P7N bios)
    System Clock Mode - Manual
    FSB clock - 1600
    DRAM clock - 800
    Please help me by providing the proper voltages for my setup
    Everything I need is marked by "???"
    CPU Voltage - ???
    DRAM Voltage - (already have, its 2.1)
    NB voltage - ???
    SB voltage - ???
    NB Memory reference voltage - ???
    DIMM memory reference voltage - ???
    Memory terminator voltage - ???

    NB GTL reference voltage - ???
    FSB terminator voltage - ???
    SB sleep mode voltage - ???

    For the sake of you not typing too much, if you specify voltages, any that you do not specify will be assumed to be left at [AUTO]
    PLEASE help me by providing some voltages for me, as I have absolutely no clue what to put for them.  If you have any questions about my hardware feel free to ask, and any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED

Also, use cpu-z to check on your actual voltage and make sure you don't raise it beyond 1.3625 (I think that's right, it's 1.36something anyway)
    Thanks for the tips.  The reason I wanted to jump straight to FSB 1600 is because the MSI p7n is really picky and only likes 1:1 ratios. 
    My "sufficient cooling" is an aftermarket heatsink, high performance thermal paste, and MASSIVE airflow through my case.  If you want specifics, its the Scythe Zipzang

    6GBs smells like mixing modules... Or do you have 3 modules?
    First of all, I already stated the frequencies that I wanted in the top post, and fairly clearly at that. 
    CPU shouldnt be too hard to figure out, as there are very few to choose from.  I'll try to get back to you on that one
    I have 5, 7200rpm SATA 3.0 drives.  It sometimes runs with only 4, as one is a hot swap. 
    My ram IS mixed, unfortunately.  I'm using 2x 1gig sticks, and 2x 2gig sticks.  However, both sets have heatsinks, and are rated at 800mhz, 4-4-4-12, 2t, timings.  (2.1v)
    I AM running them in dual channel.
    If this helps you suggest voltages please do, If not, then I will just have to start trying using nihilkrist's suggestions.
