Help w/ connecting gaming device
I just got the Darth Vader PSP for christmas, and i wanted to connect it to the internet. I have a linksys router, I set the G/B mode thing to mixed, confirmed the WPA key, checked that i had selected WPA as the security, and even called the linksys people, and they gave me a whole bunch of info. I tried it and nothing worked. this is exactly what happens :
1 I select "Network Settings"
2 I select "infrastrusture mode"
3 I select my linksys router connection
4 Under "wlan settings" i select "Scan"
5 within 2 sec. the connection is found w/ a 100% signal strength, i select it
6 I confirm the settings and save.
7 I test connecion
8 it says "connecting to access point" and "Exchanging key information" about 15 times each
9 finaly it says " a connection error has occured, The key information exchange timed out"
please help me.
Check on PSP that the settings you are configuring are exactly the same as in the wireless router ....

PLEASE HELP ME.This means that the phone you have was software unlocked to use on any carrier, or hacked. When you installed the update it restored the lock that originaly came with your phone. Not much you can do now. Apple will not support hacked phones. You will need to find out the carrier your phone is locked to and see if they offer official unlocking, or start googling to see if you can find a way to unlock 4.2.

Can anyone help me pls. , I deleted an app on my Ipod Touch, and It was deleted but when I connected my device on my computer and went to iTunes>"apps" , I still saw the app I deleted and it says "install" . Guys, how will I delete it permanently? May you Pls help me. Thanks

The iTunes on my desktop is no longer recognizing any of my devices (iPads, iPods, or iPhones). I am unable to sync. And when I connect a device I am asked on the device if I "Trust this Computer". When I hit "Trust" nothing happens. Help?

I have a MacBook Pro 15" laptop with Retina running OSX 10.8.5. It will not recognize that my android device (Samsung Galaxy Note3). I am using the standard USB that came out of the box to connect my device to my MAC. Deleted Kies 4 MAC. Help Pls!

I'm running windows7 and I'm trying to connect my iPhone4 and iPod touch2 to itunes. I've installed the latest version of iTunes, and updated my iPhone's driver. When I connect either device to iTunes I get the message "you need to uninstall and reinstall itunes". I've done this multiple times with the same results. This is very frustrating, HELP!!!

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. there is a complicated way to work with just the mobile device support but its simpler just to uninstall itunes and related components and then reinstall itunes

Sorry. You can not merge 2 backups. Since the 3rd party software seems to be able to read it, just extract the pictures and sync them back to the phone if you want them there. As for the messages, the best you'll probably be able to do is paste them into a text file for future reference if you need to keep them.

My Apple Computer says "Connecting to Device." I have a HP Officejet Pro 8600
I have a Mac with iOS Yosemite with a Officejet Pro 8600, all of a sudden I open the program and it stays on teh screen that says "Connecting to Device"
Help. I can't open the program to scan. I can still print though, I'm not sure if that's due to the cord connected or the fact that I still have it hooked up to wifi

I can't say for certain what is causing the issue at this point, but I would be happy to help you figure it out, and more importantly, resolve the issue.
Let's reset the printing system, repair disk permissions, re-add the printer using the right driver, and try to scan again.
Reset Printing System
Click the Apple icon ( ), and then click System Preferences.
In the Hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/Scan dialog box opens.
Right-click (or Ctrl +click) in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system…
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type the correct Name and Password.
Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows no printer selected
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol.
Repair Disk Permissions
On the Dock, click Applications, and then click Utilities.
Double-click Disk Utility.
Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
Click the Repair Disk Permissions button at the bottom of the window.
Once the repair is complete, restart the computer and add the printer back.
When you add the printer, please ensure you are using the HP driver.
Select Add other Printer or Scanner
Select the printer you are adding and next to 'Use' you can select the printer driver

Here I go again. I want to do something with that phone and I spend 3h of my life searching for solutions about every occuring problem and get nothing done. And finally I hit the rock bottom...again.
BB Curve 8520
So I have no other way to download apps or games or whatever from the phone itself, because my Opera is an old version. I want to update it by downloading new version, but I can't, because I have the old one..the brutal BB circle.
So I downloaded BB desktop manager, synced all I could sync, because of random errors...why not. And I go to the Appworld site and try to download stuff.
Of course, I'm using Chrome and I can do sh*t, so I was forced to use the nerve breaking IE. And there it goes: I go to mini Opera, with the latest version that I need. I click on download, the page loads for like half a minute, because of IE, and finaly it wants from me to click the Begin Sync button, that doesn't exist and it says: "Please connect your device"..............
It is connected **bleep** it. What am I doing wrong? Why is this so hard every time? I actually can't remember ever instaling something beside a game a few years ago, when afterwards my BB Desktop manager started to crash, FOR NO REASON. I went with another phone of course, but a few months ago I was stuck with my old BB.
Of course I spent some time roaming google for solutions, and all I found was dead threads with no actual solutions. Suppport.
I went to the **bleep** Opera site and tried to directly download this app but there is no way to do that!

The only reason I didn't melt this peace of Modern machinery into something ugly is because it's a Gift from a very special person, who appearantly want's me to anger myself now and then with unneccessarily things.
P.S. To dodge useless replies, the error from the sync I was doing was (and still is)"cradsdatabase error 5211". I have no idea how could that effect the main problem, but I met that idea somewhere on the webz.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Connect my device -- but it seems connected
I KNOW I'm doing something daft, but I've twisted myself round in circles now and can't find my way out.
My BB World on my pc can see all of the apps that I have on my phone and can see my purchase history but tells me to connect my device. Do I need to physically connect it? Surely not!
Why would it not be seeing my device -- do give me a hand please!

When I was trying to download some apps from the App World, it says that "Please connect your device.". However, my smart phone is actually connected. I'd taken off the battery and re-started my phone, and such circumstances still remains. What should I do?
p.s. I can't download from my phone directly as I don't have a data plan.
