How can I download my text messages without a sims card so I can print on my computer to save?
You can use this app to create an xml file of your text messages. Then you can email over Wifito yyourself or connect the phone to the computer via USB cable and copy the file from the SMS Backup folder. The xml file can be opened with Internet Explorer or Excel and printed out.

Had to remove itunes from my computer to reset the computer. Now I'm having problems syncing my iphone with the computer. Computer is saying it wants to download updates to the phone but that will delete things I downloaded straight from the phone. Help!
iTunes thinks you have a new computer because you restored the OS. Open iTunes and authorize it to the same account you have on the iPhone. Did you restore your iTunes content from a backup after resetting your computer? Have you been syncing regularly with the computer, and does the iTunes library on the computer contain your apps, music and videos? If so just sync and your content will be removed then restored.
If you have not hopefully you have now learned something. You can recover apps and purchased songs by connecting the phone, without syncing, and choose "Transfer purchases..." from the File menu. -
My husband's iphone has a hotmail ID but it was hacked and we need to change it to his current email. Where do we change it? I tried on apple and it says he has a yahoo address? His yahoo mail comes to his phone. We want to download apps on his phone and can't because of the hotmail address.

When you connect your iPhone to your computer, an iPhone icon should appear in iTunes in the left column under Devices. But if it doesn't, this troubleshooting assistant can help.

I need to use a barrage of text messages as evidence and to save me typing them up, there are a lot and I wondered if there was a way of downloading them to the my pc and putting into a document

i spent hours picking out the music on my ipad so that i can use my computer to download to my phone so i can workout with it. Then now i come on my computer in the morning an it says something about 90 days, so dose this mean that i have to wait 90 days to listen to my new music on something else other than my ipad?

Help! App Download error message
My son and I share an iTunes account. He has an ipod5 and I have an iphone4. Whenever we try to download apps from the App Store we both get a message that we are not able to download. It happens for multiple apps and we both have plenty of space! Help!

Need help with Droid Charge camera shuting off phone
We have two droid charge phones that we got in April on Amazon. We are trying to troubleshoot with Samsung and getting not much help. Phone dies quickly at times, but not other times. It consistently shuts off when taking pictures, though, on both phones. It is clear to us that the phone has a problem because we have two. I've seen two work-arounds. One is getting a bigger battery that requires a new larger phone back. The other is to put the phone in Airplane Mode. Apparently, this problem is due to a "power load" issue. So, the phones are inherently defective.
We like the phones and at brief times we have been fooled into thinking they are working fine... because once in a while the camera works fine. We haven't had any replacement phones because it seems that so many have this issue and therefore, figured what is the point. We would like to know if other Droid Charge cameras don't have this issue because we expect to be able to use the camera. We have 3 little boys and we already have lost pictures from the last day of school because we counted on this phone. Sounds like a small problem until you look at it that way.
Really wish Amazon, Verizon or Samsung could get us a good solution to a seemingly nice phone.Nolpost and smsmoot, I’m sorry to hear of the issues you are having with the phone shutting off when using the camera. This is no fun! I use my camera often and would hate for it to reboot my phone every time I use it. I can only imagine how frustrating that must be. But don’t worry guys because I’m here to help!
How long have you guys had this issue? Does it happen every time you use the camera? Did you notice this started after the software update? If so, have you performed a hard reset http://bit.ly/w21WpW since the update?

GMAIL: I don't want to download ANY messages

I really want Thunderbird to work for me, but I'm not sure if it can. I have three email addresses, one gmail personal and two work, and I have been using gmail itself to coordinate the three. It's not working for me so I'd like to use Thunderbird. The problem, is, whenever I try to add my gmail account to my Thunderbird it downloads all of its messages. I thought IMAP is designed so that the email messages are NOT downloaded?! My gmail account takes up over 50gb of space and I can't afford to download it. So is it possible to have Thunderbird act as an INTERFACE for my gmail account WITHOUT downloading ANY of the messages?

NickYou can set Thunderbird not to save local copies, but then it may become unbearably slow when browsing your messages.
Tools|Account Settings|{choose your gmail account}|Synchronisation & Storage
Uncheck "Keep messages for this account on this computer". Also look at Advanced, on the same settings page, and make sure all folders are unchecked.
And it may speed things up a tad if you right-click the account, select Subscribe, and select only those folders you want to see.
For most people with your query, I'd say "use webmail" (i.e. the google website) but I must say I find it unpleasant to use. I presume you are also less than satisfied with it? -
So basically I've been living computer-less for 8 months now, doing everything on my iPad 2. I want the iOS 5 update so my iPad will be more independent and not having a computer will be less of a problem. Can I update on a friend's Mac/pc without syncing my iPad to their computer? I can't lose all my data, it's all my contacts photos music and school work for the past months. Also I'm studying abroad so losing everything would be even worse considering I'd have to wait months to figure it out. Help!!

I keep my email on the server, now thunderbird wants to download 17k messages
I keep getting duplicates of my emails and now it is attempting to download three years of emails.
Sync is only an option with IMAP accounts. If talking a POP account the is no such option.

After a couple of hours, about 4 emails came thru at once. So i sent a new one with the time in the subjct line. That arrived after a couple of mins but another one i sent hasnt arrived so im wondering why it seems to be so intermittent? This doesnt happen with the iphone!
