However, when I added another record today it disappeared. Can you tell me what's happening? I've been using adobe forms for 2 years with mass response feedback and have never had this problem.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

Here I can see that the ZZVMDCUI field is not changed for every line, even if I have modified it. And also, SEL gets always the value of the FIRST LETTER (obviously, since it's a flag) of the ZZVMDCUI modification I made.
This sounds to me that actually my report see the SEL flag as the only 'editable' field; I can write contents in another editable field but the only modified one is just SEL (which is the first).
Can you please give an hint on that ? Thanks in advance

i am currently making a vi which compose of a simple case structures, a case structure with more than 200 cases, what i noticed is that the more i added cases the slower the labview reacts, it takes time for me to route wire on each of the cases.
i dont know if there are any setting in the labview environment that i can increase the buffer size? i dont know... but its getting slow (only on the

Can you clarify what you mean by "slow". Does it run more slowly or does it feel sluggish during editing?
Could you attach the actual VI?
Overall, I agree with the notion of local variable overuse. For example, you read the same local variable twice in the same case. Is there a need for this? Is there a chance that it varies between the two reads? Typically, you would place the terminal in front of the case structure and wire to all the locations where you need the value. This ensures that the data is consistent. Still, this should not cause any slowdown problem.
(On a sidenote, the code in the upper left corner is inefficient. You convert the same data to lower case with each iteration, so you might want to place this before the loop and do it only once (well, if you are lucky, LabVIEW will fold the operation, but still....). Also your "index array" operation can be replaced by autoidenxing of the 2D array on the outer loop boundary.)

No it is not possible. Content purchased from the iTunes Store is permanently tied to the account from which it was originally purchased, and Apple does not provide a way to change it.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Error occurs when executing an item in an inbox with more than 1000 entries

Hi Everyone,
One of our approvers in SRM experienced an error when his inbox contained more than 1000 entries . Further execution on any inbox item produces errors.
Would you know where to set the maximum allowable entries in a user's inbox? Can this be set thru SRM config or Basis functionality?
We also searched for existing SAP Notes but found nothing.
Your inputs and help are greatly appreciated.

The user has sent me the screen shot. But this has no error messages. The approval transaction shows an ITS screen/code with template 'bbpapproval/99/saplbw02_1200.html'
However, we have a user in Quality where the page displays with no problem and with 1675 Entries.
Do you think this is more of an ITS setting or any Template/JavaScript issues?

Regarding the not-so-good practice of approvers to have more than 1000 entries in their inbox, we are still in the process of planning on how to divide the task to different approvers since there is only one approver (Project Manager) for the related network.

Need help: Dimensional column has assoc with more than 1 level

Hi,
I am trying to have multiple drill paths for a single dimension. For example, the Date dimension should be navigable by the following hierarchies:
DateDimension
+---- Calendar Year
......---- Calendar Quarter
............--- Calendar Month
..................-- Day
+---- Calendar Year
......---- Day
So, in other words, in Answers I should be able to add 'Calendar Year' to my report, display results, and then click down the path Calendar Year -> Calendar Quarter -> Calendar Month -> Day OR Calendar Year -> Day.
However, when I model this in the Admin tool, it allows it, but then I add the column in Answers and get a runtime error:
+[nQSError: 14064] Dimensional column [column name] has associations with more than one level+
This is possible in BO and other tools. If it is not possible in Oracle BI EE, then one alternative would be to have two separate versions of 'Calendar Year' added to the report in Answers, each with their own drill path.
Any ideas???

Create the Hierarchy Year --> Quarter--->Month-->Week-->Day in rpd as usual manner .But in Year report use navigate option in column properties add Quarterly Report (Caption it as 'Quarter')and Day level report(Caption it as 'Day') in navigate option.So when you click on Year column it i will prompt to select either Quarter or Day and when u select Quarter u will have normal drill functionality from Quarter to Month to Week and Day.Hope this helps you.

CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF is not working with more than 200 pages

i am trying to print out Inspection Results (OTFs generated by QGA3 Transaction) via the CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF funtion module.
But if the Inspection Results have more than 200 pages the FM only creates a PDF without content.
The PDF is there but it has 0 bytes.
This is how i fill the FM:

That's because the function reverts to background processing when the page size is over 99 pages (see the code). I posted how to handle this a while back but basically you can either use RSPO_RETURN_SPOOLJOB directly or you can continue to use your current function but you have to poll for the completion of the job (BP_JOB_STATUS_GET) and then get the resulting spool in RAW format with RSPO_RETURN_SPOOLJOB then convert it:

Vector or ArrayList use for dropdown with more than 1000 entries

I am having more than 1000 entries of different TimeZone's which i need to display in a dropdown list.
i am not able to decide whether i need to use a Vector or Arraylist for storing these values.
please let me know which one will be best suited to use in case the list entry is more than 1000 characters.

A JComboBox can be constructed from a Vector (rather than any other sort of List) without having to implement your own ComboBoxModel. (JList is similar).
I agree with kajbj - a control like this with a thousand entries is rather poor interface design. One exception might be if the entries are sorted in some way, and you "jump" to the appropriate place in the list as the user types.

I am using a MacBook Pro (2010) with 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5, 4GB, 1067 MHz, DDR3, Startvolume Macintosh HD.
After downloading the package and starting upgrading it asks acceptance of the license-agreement. After that it asks for the volume were to install. And when I click on the Startvolume Macintosh HD (which is the only available on the machine) it says: "The volume is already being used for Time Machine-Backups".
It doesn´t offer to skip that point or to reconfigure the Time Machine settings.
The point is that my Time machine is not and has never used the Mac HD for Backups. In the past I have used an external drive and since 05/2014 I am using a Time Capsule which is appropriately addressed in the Time Machine settings.

I can't find the new messages anywhere -- they have not moved to Saved, Junk, Trash, anything. IT is like the iPhone just ate them. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

If you have a POP3 account this means that another "client" email program has retrieved the messages and deleted the messages from the server. You need to change the server settings on that device to leave the messages on the server.
If you have an IMAP or MS Exchange account this means that someone read the messages on another device and either deleted them or moved them to another folder. Or there is an automated script that moved them to another folder.

How to handle form with more than one page in struts

i have more than one page in my struts web apps. each page has a form & i have submit button @ last page. I navigate between these pages using titles. data has to exist when i come back from another page(i.e i am in page1 i have some fields called name & address as textfield, i move to page2 & then i go back to page1 @ that time i should have the name & addess values that i entered previous in the corresponding textfield) & finally when i submit need to get values form all these pages.
Plz tell me how to do this.

I want to have pages speak with more than one voice. Is there a command / script for this.

This may seem strange but I teach ESL and want my students to practice listening exercises.
What I want is to prepare a dialog and have it speak in two different voices like a normal conversation between a man and woman.
Is there some script or command that I can insert into my text document that will basically change the voice from one person to another.
Ex: How are you Jim? (in allison voice)

BTW: I recently found that there is a command [[slnc 3500]] that causes the computer to wait an amount (in milleseconds) between phrases, but have not found any other commands.

Let's say you have a TextEdit document, that contains clusters of passages:

The best you can hope for without considerable complexity, expense, or both is to fall back on the Automator application on OS X. You can create a very simple Automator Service that speaks selected text in the chosen voice. This Service can be tied to a unique keyboard shortcut, and each voice can have its own unique keyboard shortcut that provides a voice start/stop speaking capability for longer text passages.
Once the individual Automator Services for Allison and Fred voices are saved, the student can triple-click on a sentence or paragraph. I have embedded the [voices] at the beginning of the sentence, and added a feature to the Automator Service that tests the [voice]. Select the [Allison] sentence and use Fred's keyboard shortcut and nothing is spoken.
Automator is found in your /Applications folder. It is the robot with the pipe. When you first launch Automator, it will prompt you for a new document. Select new document and then double-click the Service gear. In the left Automator panel, are Libraries of actions. Select the Text category. Immediately to the right, will be a column of Text related actions. Locate, single-click, and drag the Filter Paragraphs action to the much larger workflow window and release it. Locate the Text action Speak Text, and drag/drop it below the Filter Paragraphs workflow item. Make certain that these are configured to reflect the following completed Allison Service workflow. You should now have the following (single-click to enlarge the image):
Save this via Automator > File > Save... and name it just Allison, or Allison-voice. From the Automator File menu, close the Allison Service workflow. Now, following the above instructions, repeat this process to make the Fred Service with Automator > File > New.
Copy the above TextEdit text into a new TextEdit document. Select the [Allison] line, and then see if the Allison Service is available under TextEdit > Services > Allison. If it is, select it and listen. If no Allison Service appears here — select from the Dock, System Preferences, and then the Keyboard preference. Select Shortcuts > Services and then scroll the right list of Services to find Text > Allison. It is probably selected, but deselect, and then reselect it. It should now appear under the TextEdit > Services menu. In the following Screenshot, you will see the Allison Service activated and assigned a control-A key to activate the voice on the selected text in your document. Repeat this process for the Fred voice Service, with a different keyboard shortcut than Allison.
It is a good idea to be aware of reserved keyboard shortcuts.

If you want to fine tune Allison's (or Fred's) speaking rate, you can do this in the Dictation & Speech > Text to Speech preference panel. If you check the Speak selected text when the key is pressed item, you can start and stop Allison speaking the selected document text in longer text passages. Since the default system voice uses Control+S, you probably want another short-cut specific to Allison. I chose Control+Q. Once Allison is speaking, press Control+Q to pause, and Control+Q to resume speech to the end, or until encountering [Fred]. When you configure Fred, you will need a separate Text to Speech shortcut for that voice.
In Summary, you now have two different voices that are initiated as Voice Services with two unique keyboard shortcuts. The individual voices can be paused or resumed once initial Voice Service is started. For a given voice, the student selects the voice specific text passage, and presses the associated keyboard shortcut for that voice. If the passage is a larger paragraph, the student may pause the voice with its unique pause/resume keyboard shortcut. If a student doesn't select a passage of text and presses the voice's pause/resume key, it will start speaking until it runs out of text. An undesirable side-effect.
You should have sufficient guidance above to create and activate two voices as you initially described.

Forms with more than one page

I have a form page that I am creating, an application which
consists of seven pages. Normally I would link my continue button
to page number two, etc. to connect the pages. Page 1 has a form
and I want to be able to press the submit button at the end of page
seven and have all the information within the form pages (1-7) to
be submitted to my email simultaneously. Is that possible to link
the form pages? Thank you. If not does anyone know of a good form
program?

and you could
then set them as a session variable value, repeat this
process for each
page and on the final page you submit your page and use the
session
variable values to do with whatever you need them to do.
