Help! Where are my TextEdit docs?

Upon opening a frequently used TextEdit document, I was presented with an option to use the version on my Mac or iCloud. I chose iCloud BUT immediately a bunch of text in document disappeared! (obviously because the iCloud version wasn't as up to date as the version on my Mac)
My question is, how can I find the copy of this document on my Mac? I have a Time Machine backup but don't know where to start.

Search for the contents in Spotlight. For example, if you know the document contains the word "puppies," search for that word.

I searched Adobe Help in Dutch already but they point me towards options that doesn't excist.
Maybe they were there in Adobe CS5 and I am reading an older version of the documentation...
But in CS6 I can only find the option Render and no Render Preferences...

Adobe changed the way video is rendered in CS6. Adobe Media Encoder in now used in CS6 only a subset of the Adobe's full Adobe Media Encoder is included in CS6 is a dll. I do not think you can add new Rendering Presets however you can change some setting when you use the supplied Reddening Presets. Perhaps if you have the Adobe suite and have the full Adobe Media Encoder you can create some presets and add them to Photoshop Rendering presets. I seem some compliants about CS6 Quicktime rendering presets lack the power of CS5. The Rendering presets seem to be stored in sub folders in "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Presets\Video\Adobe Media Encoder" and "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Presets\Video\Adobe Media Encoder"

Where are data and docs stored on an ipad if I choose not to backup to the cloud?

In my preferences I have notes, calendar, contacts, photos, etc. stored on the icloud. However, I have apps such as Adobe pdf pro, Pages and Numbers loaded and I want to keep the docs generated from these programs on my ipad and no where else, so I've indicated this in my preferences (do not backup to the icloud.) So where are the docs stored? I've heard they are stored "in the apps themselves?" What if I have fifty docs so stored? Will I ever lose any of them?

For AS8, the docs subdirectory under your installation directory will have javadocs for all classes in com.sun.appserv and javax... namespace.
For AS7, what is it that you are specifically looking for?
In general, com.sun.enterprise... classes are not documented. There are exceptions and you should be able to find them in developer's guide.
Finally, you might want to look at the source code in the Open Source Application Server project GlassFish (http://glassfish.dev.java.net).

I subscribed for Entourage podcast. They do not have any episode available, just "behind the scene" clips available in their list. Do I have to do something else to get access to new episodes? Please help me...

Help- where are my iCloud pictures?

hi I'm about to cry. I had moved over 3000 pictures to my iCloud abd then deleted them off my phone to free up memory. Now as I look at my storage it says only 600 pictures are in my cloud. I fear that this is because it's in backup mode. How do I see/find these pictures? I can't even figure out where to view them.
I will be so devastated if I've lost this past year of life. Thank you

Now that bridge support has been pulled, where are the updated docs for valid MXI tokens?

Since CS6 Bridge support has been inexplicably pulled from Extension Manager. So I need to find a way to install Bridge scripts. I'm after current documentation on the MXI format. Can someone point me to it? Thanks!

You can find all the tokens and their corresponding directory on Windows and Mac from http://help.adobe.com/en_US/extensionmanager/cs/using/MXI_tech_note.pdf. Also the FAQ link in the Extension Manager user forum page (http://forums.adobe.com/community/creativesuites/extensionmanager/faq) describes how to install extensions for Bridge CS6 manually.
Another way is to copy configuration sub-directory from Bridge CS5/5.5 to Bridge CS6, and modify all the version-related values in XManConfig.xml accordingly. Then launch Extension Manager CS6. Bridge CS6 will be listed in Extension Manager CS6. You can install extensions for Bridge as usual. But we don't give you any guarantee for it.

Help where are my apps???

can some one help me please???? i updated my iphone 3s to ios 5 on itunes. after everything was restored, a pop up box advised me that i had purchases on my iphone that would be erased if i didnt transfer then to itunes library. so i clicked on transfer. now all my apps have disappeared off my iphone and i cant find them anywhere on itunes.... does anyone know if i can get my apps back??????

I have moved a bunch of PDF files to iCloud by way of Good Reader on my iPad. I'm not finding them through iCloud on my Mac. iCloud has been activiated (I'm a mobile.me transferee), and I'm working in 10.7.4. What am I doing wrong?

They should be in the Videos app :
If they aren't in there then have you got a film age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them ?

First of all, you don't need to use CAPS in thread title, as many people will consider this a desperate shout for attention you're not likely to get.
Then, make sure your podcasts are synced with iPod. If they are, podcasts should be available from "Music" menu. If they 're not, browse for sync options in iTunes and make them copy to your iPod. After all, if you subscribed to video podcasts, don't be surprised you can't view them on your Nan for one obvious reason... iPod Nano can't view videos.

Report it to the police. Report it to your wireless service provider. Attempt to use BB Protect to wipe it clean. Outside of that, there is nothing to be done. If your personal issues prevent you from carrying this out, then you must consider all of your data on your BB to be compromised.
