Help why I cannot get Infinity

I am moving to a new build in calne wilts and half out of the 29 new homes can get Infinity while the other half does not show on the checker but tey are in no order just hit and miss so no reason why we can not all get Infinity. We all have the same postcode SN11 0FF and use the same cab so is it because we have not got a phoneline installed yet or any other reason but when I phone BT they just say you dont get Infinity  Help Help Help

There must be two Cabs serving the 29 New house's, Your House must be on the Cab that has not been FTTC enabled yet.
and if only one CAB then yes you need a phone line first ! thats how you receive FTTC or any other type of Broadband via a telephone cable.

  • Why we cannot get Fios in Lower Macungie PA

Is there a reason why we cannot get fiber optic internet and TV in my town? Is there a monopoly rule set by the township?

Try attending a town hall meeting or asking local officials. They might be able to answer the question without trying to get a petition going first. Now, if there is a refusal to get Verizon out, then you can try to get a petition set up with others in your town to present to the town officials. Even then, if everything goes well, you're still at the mercy of Verizon wanting to bring the service out. If they can score permission to bring out TV services, they will be more motivated to build the services out, but as announced in many locations, it's unlikely Verizon will build out FiOS any more unless they are obligated to do so for are finishing up a roll-out.

  • Why I cannot get payroll result value ?

    Expert,
In EBS Payroll R12, I define two elements A and B. A has priority 1500, B has priority 3500. So A will be processed ahead of B. I write a pl/sql package to calculate B, and attach the package to B through formula result. In the package, I will use "Pay value" of A, the logic can be abstracted as " A-Pay value * 0.05". However, the result of B is not my expected. I track my package and find the program doesn't get the Pay Value. I am sure my sql statement is right. So my conclusion is for one assignment calculation, these elements payroll result will be written back to DB together rather than one by one, right?
For my case, it I want to use the pay value of elements which have been calculated, how to do? Please give me some advice.
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear thierry,
Thanks for your kindly help. I follow your hints to modify my fast formula of B as below:
    Cal_B:
    dummy=A_BALANCE_ASG_RUN /* A_Balance will contain element A*/ /* a new line added here */
v_rtvl=CAL_B_external_F /* It is formula function, which will contain external PLSQL call. The plsql will use the Pay value of A */
    return v_rtvl
Per my understanding, after calling statement "dummy=A_BALANCE_ASG_RUN", the relevant pay result of A should be flushed to DB.
unfortunately, when I process my payroll, the result still remains unchange. It seems that CAL_B_external_F cannot get the "Pay value" of A
If I modify fast formula as below:
    Cal_B:
    v_rtvl=A_BALANCE_ASG_RUN
    return v_rtvl
I can get v_rtvl whose value is equal to A_BALANCE_ASG_RUN. It seems the value of A_BALANCE_ASG_RUN can be captured in the fast formula.
So, How do I understand your hints as below:
"A element_A_asg_run in your second fast formula, before calling the plsql, can do the trick, eventually."
I am eager to your help.
    Regards,
    Michael

  • Help..I cannot get past 2 out of 8 while synching

help, cannot get the full synching to take place  any thoughts?

    Dear christ1,
    Thank you so much.
But I now believe the problem may have a slightly different basis.
Here is set-up (both PC's run 8.1 and Thunderbird):
    a new PC (a)
    older PC (b)
both are on the same hardwired router.
While setting up the new (a), Widows offered to bring setting over from (b). I accepted - and it spent several minutes working.
I do not recall if I had already down loaded Thunderbird onto (a) or if it came later. After this (b) Thunderbird shortcut brings up only "would you like a new email address" and "Thunderbird create a new acct".
Thunderbird from the Start Page or the App listings does the same thing.
    (b) shows Thunderbird still to be the default.
Now (a) brought down all my old received mail, but none of the sent mail list.
And, important to me, none of the addresses- which were on (b)- they had been moved from an XP outlook express program 2 years ago into Thunderbird.
I have not tried to delete Thunderbird from (b), and start over with it, as I fear loosing my addresses.
So here how you can help me if you have the time.
    1. How best can I get (b) to have a working Thunderbird ?
    2. How best can I get (a) to continue to work AND have/share the contact-address stuff from (b) as it was before all this.
    Thank you again

  • Can someone please help.  I cannot get my iphone calendar to sync to iCal.  I have look all over online and cannot get this resolved.

Can someone help me?  I cannot get the calendar on my iphone to sync to my macbook's iCal.  It also is not showing up on iCloud.  What is the problem?

I don't use iCal, but I think they both must be logged in to the same account and it is not always your iTunes account.
I have see a few iCloud sync issues at it has been usually related to the accounts themselves.
My understanding is you can have and iTunes account, and each of your devices can get free 5GB on the cloud.
The catch is each device needs a iCloud account.  If you want the sync to happen between two devices then those two devices need to share the iCloud account and not the itunes account.
Not sure if this is the cause of the problem your having.

  • Firefox is BLOCKING Gmail due to securtiy certificate! HELP?? Cannot get my email accounts!!

I just purchased a new Dell laptop with Windows 7 Pro. I downloaded and installed the latest version of Firefox.
I have several very important Gmail accounts but Firefox will NOT allow me access to any Gmail items! There is not even the option to ignore the warning that the security certificate is invalid. I CANNOT get to any Gmail account.
The computer I am replacing also has the latest version of Firefox but it allows access to all my Gmail accounts. The only reason that I am replacing the computer is because Microsoft has stopped supporting XP and all my normal software vendors will no longer support me; so I am forced to change.
One suggestion in Firefox is to go to the Profile file and delete "cert8" and then let Firefox recreate it. THAT DOES NOT WORK with my problem.
Please, can someone help. I have a business to run and I have all day on this issue.
Thanks to anyone that can help.
    Chuck

Firefox reports that Google's Gmail has an invalid certificate! No other program does this. In fact, it does not do this on my other computer running the same software. Internet Explorer connects without a problem.
Deleting "cert8" file from Firefox's profile does not seem to work either. What I mean by "seem" is that it might work for a couple of loads then it blocks it again.

  • Help!  I cannot get the mouse to work on a pop up on my desk top offering access to imessaging.   Very annoying block to the screen saver.   How do I get rid of it?

My desktop has a sign offering access to messaging but the mouse does not work on any option.  I cannot log in or give password.   I just want to get rid of it from the desktop.   It is ruining my screensaver.  Please help.

    Robert or Elizabeth...
Sync media using iTunes, not Bluetooth.
When the screen freezes on the iPhone, try "resetting".
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
And this link is for the iPhone 3GS user guide >  http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iPhone_iOS3.1_User_Guide.pdf

Serously doubt this is a "new" iPhone 3GS. More likely refurbished.

    Hi,
What Solaris version you are using? Check whether you have not reached upper limit of pt_tty limit.
Solaris 8 sets this limit dynamically depending on available free memory but not in older versions. If there are too many telnet sessions are opened, please try to logout some users & check new telnet sessions can be started.
    Thanks,
    Santosh

  • Help! If I get infinity does the engineer HAVE to ...

Here's the situation, my internet is slow as fu**, especially my xbox, currently I have it on a wireless 5mbps connection. I heard and have seen that you don't get your full speed on a wireless connection. I have one telephone socket (master) downstairs, and I am not having a wire running on my stairs looking a mess. What I wanted to know, could the infinity engineer install an extra telephone socket upstairs when he comes? I know this would cost extra but how much? Oh and does anyone know when infinity is in my area? I won't give you my address but I live in hattersley mottram?

To get Openreach to install an extension will cost you around £130.00 you could try using Powerlines to connect from the infinity kit to your PC?Xbox this link explains more
http://forumhelp.dyndns.info/networking/powerline_operation.jpg as to weather Infinity is available you can check on the BT.COM website if you try and place an order for infinity

i have got X120e from my college with ubuntu 11.04 installed. But my half of softwares dont work on this Lunix OS so decided to install windows 7, downloaded officially as i have keys for activation.

"Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. See the Setup log files for more information"
I have not connected any other devices.
My Hard disk is NOT dynamic, its basic.

    Hello,
Do you just want to delete the Ubuntu partition?  If so, you may be able to do by booting from the Microsoft Windows 7 installation disc, pressing Shift+F10 to get to a Command Prompt, and then using the DISKPART.EXE program to erase the hard disk drive.

  • Help! I cannot get a server to work on my one game!

On Garry's Mod, and Counter Strike: Source, i cannot make servers. I also am not very good with routers. Can someone please help me?

    Hi,
First of all you have to assign a static ip address on computer on which you have to host games, like
    ip: 192.168.1.10
    subnet mask:255.255.255.0
    Default gateway:192.168.1.1
Then need to forward ports used by the mentioned games on your routers firewall, to this static ip address.
    Ports used by Counter Strike:
    1200 set as UDP.
    27000 - 27015 set as UDP.
    27020 - 27050 set as TCP.
    Ports used by Garry's Mod:
    27015 UDP
    27015 TCP
    27020 UDP
