I experience the same proble as others do :
after having my os upgraded to 10.4.10, I thought my internet provider had troubles...
But all my pc could connect fluidly without any problem.
Wifi indicator seems to be always correct, no problems with wep passphrases on my wifi access point, but traffic is null.
To get traffic, I must disable airport, reactivate it, and I can surf for few minutes or seconds before it hangs again.
On another thread I saw a way to fix it changing the wifi access point setup :

It works fine (it's not a tipically clean solution, but it helps) but.... but... it works only if my MacBook is AC powered !
If battery powered, I have exactly the same problem than before with wifi connection that drops without external signs...
On ethernet card, no problem.
It looks like 10.4.10 changes many things with power...
It's strange because my problem can be partially solved with ac-power, people also experience audio troubles (with speakers that pops because it goes asleep... power again), other say they kill USB devices because of power too...
My problem is Wifi.
Some Apple resellers say cleverly (for them) that there is no problem, and could not consider there is a problem with only few hundreds of people talking about this on a discussion board....
They prefer to say "our macbook pro works fine with 10.4.10".
I could also say that you could'nt be sick if I'm not.
I'm waiting for an Apple consideration of this REAL problem, as it alters my feeling about their products.

Try a Safe Boot, and see if that helps. Repair Disk Permissions with Disk Utility, while you are booted into Safe Mode. When that is done, do a normal restart.
Do you have any third party devices connected when the kernel panic happens?

You need a larger internal drive and you definitely need to uninstall any Avast product, using the instructions at the developer's website. A 120GB SSD with only 9.6GB free just isn't going to cut it - you need at least 9GB in free space just to run Mavericks and many people suggest that 10-15% of your disk (particularly on a SSD) should be free space.

I don't know if you are still having the issue but if you are have you contacted your ISP? It sounds to me like it's more of a connectivity issue than a browser problem. I've dealt with similar things several times and in both cases it was something with the modem or an ISP setting.
I'm also wondering if it could be a Wi-Fi issue. Can you log in to your router? (It varies by brand but you would go to a site such as http://192.168.10.1. That is for Trendnet. The information for yours should be in the documentation that came with it.)
You should be able to get the router log in page to come up even if you can't connect to any websites. (Provided the network is set up correctly.)
I also would double check your connection settings (if you're connecting over Wi-Fi) or your ethernet connection. (If you're connected directly to the modem and router.)
Hopefully one of these suggestions will be helpful.

Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.

Ipad, wifi stops working and I have to restart my iPad and log in again. It only stays logged into my wifi for a short while then it drops it again. First you need to check that your current Mac meets the System Requirements for Snow Leopard...

WiFi Stability with MacOS 10.4.10?

Since buying my 1st Apple computer (listed below), last October, I have had no end of problems with connecting to our home wireless router. Soon after purchase, I upgraded to MacOS 10.4.7 and suffered the occasional failure to connect, or drop-out after connection.
When I upgraded to 10.4.8 (December 2006?) the problems got much worse, and re-connection was only possible by switching off WPA encryption and getting the router (listed below) to broadcast its SSID - this was not acceptable from a security point of view - at which point I contacted Apple Support.
Apple Support told me that WiFi problems with 10.4.8 (on Macbooks?) were known to them, and that they would not be fully solved until 10.5 came out. They recommended I should roll back to 10.4.6 (using my intallation disk). This was successful in restoring WiFi connection as described in my 1st paragraph, and I have since upgraded back to 10.4.7 from Apple archives.
When 10.4.9 came out (February 2007?) I made the mistake of accepting this upgrade - only to find that it completely trashed WiFi connectivity (even without WPA and SSID broadcast). So I spent another happy 2 days restoring 10.4.7 and much installed software.
Meanwhile, our trusty 6-year-old Viglen Dossier, running Windows 98, continued to achieve perfect WiFi connectivity via its 3Com OfficeConnect 802.11g PCMCIA card - even though it and its OS were designed before 802.11 was even written! In fact one interesting symptom of our Apple WiFi problems is that: when a drop-out occurs, a reliable way of getting the Apple to reconnect is to start the Viglen (?!).
I am back running 10.4.7 with the occasional "There was a problem connecting to XXXX network" (usually repeated 3 times before a connection is established) and regular drop-outs after about 2 hours of use. Recently, I took my Macbook to a friend's house and found similar but worse problems connecting to his Linksys router - even when 2 metres from its antenna.
*My questions are: does anyone else have these problems with Macbooks and 3rd party Wifi equipment? Is this an issue of 802.11 standards adherence? Has anyone found an improvement in WiFi connectivity with 10.4.10? (which I am reluctant to adopt).*

WiFi issues have been discussed ad naseum on the MacBook and MacBook Pro forums. I suggest looking over there. The problem with third party routers is not limited to Macs either. The 64 bit Windows machines have difficulty with older Netgear routers as well. Until vendors start all agreeing to a WiFi standard keep on pestering the makers of the routers for better adherence to standards. Netgear when I called them on it even admitted their drivers don't work with 64 bit Windows machines. If they don't work with Windows machines, what chance do they have with Macs?
I have found though that your 2 meter range is actually a range within that WiFi signals begin to weaken! Probably so much wireless traffic within the vicinity of the router, that it causes problems for machines set up to pick up multiple channels. My WiFi FAQ* here may be helpful:

Wifi problem with iOS 6 and new ipad wifi/4g

This is my first ipad and have been very disappointed so far.
At first it was working normally and I was connecting to the Internet without problem. It would stay connected. I only use the device with WiFi and have cellular turned off.
After the iOS 6 upgrade I have been having problems staying connected to wifi. It works until the unit goes to sleep. Then if try to use the ipad later in the day It will only connect it i go and reset network settings .
I called apple and they said since I am over 95 days from purchase I can no longer call them for help. They said I do have hardware support, but I have no way to call and see if is software or hardware without paying for a service contract.
Can someone help me out with this. I have tried the online solutions and the only one that works is resetting the network settings. I is only temporary and not an acceptable fix for a 800 device.
I have both linksys and buffalo routers but it happens with both

Wifi problems with my MacBook

Is anyone experiencing Wifi issues with Snow Leopard 10.6.4?
I have picked up some problems with my MacBook when using Wifi - if I ping my wireless AP (a Linksys WRT54G), some packets are lost, and general network access is very slow.
The network is 802.11G using WPA2 - I also have a Powerbook G4 here which loses no packets doing the same tests, as well as a Windows 7 desktop that shows no problems either.
I have spent hours troubleshooting, and am no closer to an answer. Have tried many steps recommend to fix previous wi-fi issues, such as resetting flash with the option-apple-p-g key combination at boot time, deleting settings and setting up the wireless again etc. etc.
Would be very useful to know if anyone else has these problems , or else I am about to re-install the OS.
Any help appreciated.

OK solved the problem!
A firmware upgrade on the Linksys did the trick. I had revision 5 hardware with version 1.51 firmware - upgraded to v1.52.8 build 001 and everything is back to normal.
Why only the Macbook on my network was affected, who knows but I suspect this may have been a recent software update from Apple that triggered an incompatibility.
Anyhow hope that is of use to someone!

You've got us between a rock and a hard place. My daughter's recently upgraded iPhone 4s has no Wifi. With four phones on Verizon and as long-time customers, we've been very good and loyal. But this situation is untenable. With a year-old phone my daughter upgraded her device to OS7 when it become available (and was prompted to). Since then (beginning of September, within her year warranty period) her phone has been unable to connect to Wifi. The Wifi is greyed out. We are a long-time Apple family and when I say, I've done everything...it means, I've tried everything with this phone to get it working again. She was away at college and unable to get into an Apple store before her year warranty expired, so she was unable to get a replacement. We kept waiting for Apple to provide a fix. To issue a statement. To own up to the mess they've caused. Nothing.. Really? Oh Apple, how far you've fallen. Steve Jobs on his fluffy iCloud is definitely turning over and frowning.
Verizon, we need an upgraded devise. Her phone quit functioning within the year period (you can see this by the alarming amount of data she's using), but she couldn't travel to Apple or Verizon to get it replaced within that time period. Can you take care of this please? We'll have to go elsewhere for her, and once one has left the fold, the rest will follow.

I agree with you. So many of us 4s users have been affected by this. I am at the two year mark myself so no warranty replacement for me unfortunately. I tried all apples suggested fixes and nothing works. Putting it in the fridge can get me going for a few minutes and I am able to update some of my larger apps this way, but in general my data usage has certainly increased and I have to really monitor it closely now. I believe it is Apples problem to deal with and remedy this issue warranty or not, it is obvious that it is the iOS 7 upgrade that has screwed the 4s users. Whether intentional or not it appears to be a conspiracy theory to get us to upgrade to the iPhone 5 which is really sad. I like the apple line and there is just no coincidence that so many 4s users were and are being affected by this plague of losing wifi capability so soon after this so called "fantastic" upgrade was announced and encouraged to be implemented. If I knew then what I know now I would have never upgraded! This just shows me two things, apple didn't not fully test this upgrade thoroughly enough, or that it shows the 4s was created with sub standard components which were over tasked and burned out with the iOS 7 update or soon thereafter. Apples only option for me was to pay them $199 to have my phone replaced! I would sooner spend $199 towards a new iPhone 5s before getting a replacement 4s that is sure to fail due to these existing issues. OR, has Apple pushed out the iOS 7.03 and 7.04 updates to rectify the problem and prevent more 4s phones from burning up their chips!? If so that is great however it leaves those of us that have already been affected holding the bag of goods and have been seriously harmed in the process. Apple needs to stand up and do the honorable thing to rectify the situation such in a manner that is similar with recalls on automobiles. For my phone I believe the damage is done and the updates have physically irreversibly damaged my phone. This is your one chance Apple, to make this right. Should you choose not to do so reflects a disgrace not only for your company as a whole but also for your employees from top to bottom as this in turn will hurt your future sales and profits like you have never seen. You have taken pride in producing quality products in the past. You were the leader that other OS followed. Now it appears you are following other OS's and your fan base is dropping like a rock. Not providing a viable solution to this problem will only hurt your reputation and status further. You have a choice to do what is right, and I seriously hope you will take it. I personally have more than 6 different iDevices in my own and will elect to buy non Apple products in the future along with encouraging other friends and family members to follow suit based on my own recent experience with your 4s / Debacle. Word of mouth goes a long way and can certainly turn out to be your worst enemy! Here is your chance Apple to do what is right, please make this right. Problem with Java Script after upgrade from BW 3.5 to BI7

Dear Colleagues,
We're facing the issue with Java Script after upgrade of BW 3.5 to BI7.
Just after update we checked the basic functionality and it occured that some of web templates that use Java Script don't work. They generate seelction screen, but after selection the screen becomes blank without any error messages.
We're currently stucked since web templates weren't converted to BI7 version so they should work exactly as before the upgrade.
We compared the Java code with other environment that was not upgraded - it's perfectly the same.
The only explanation that comes to my mind is that some Java Script settings on the server level were changed during the upgrade but I have no idea where I can check that.
