"Help" window - unable to impose another window on top of help window

Why isn't it possible to put another application's window, on top of a Help window?
It becomes quite obtrusive when you are reading the Help for an application, and you wish to open another window, and have it sit on top of the Help window, without being able to do so.
If somebody knows a workaround on this, please let me know. I have had this internal complaint on this issue ever since Tiger, and still on Leopard, I don't understand the logic of "Help" windows trying to control your Desktop view. You can basically have only a Help window minimized or as a top layer window, it's impossible (that I am aware of) to have it behind another application's window, etc.

No, what should be the case is that the Help window behaves like any other window: click on another window and it comes forward, click on the Help window and it comes forward, and so on. Truthfully I did not read the article V.K. cited, just clicked the link and saw the default write command was there, and assumed it was the same as the original discovery--which I have used on my own system.

That's all I did. AFAIK nothing else is necessary and the Help window then behaves like any other window. I copied the command from the original MacOSXHints discussion:

I have used it, and only it, on both my Leopard installs and it worked exactly as expected.

You can only deauthorize everything to do that. Click on Account under Quick Links. You can deauthorize all five there. But you can only do this once a year.

D3L "produce" error: unable to find attribute object for top node

I'm trying to deliver a flat file message with an interconnect standard ftp adapter. All the transformations go well but then i get this error message:

I finally solved the problem: The name of the d3l xml file must be named with the name of the data type. Just thought i'd let anyone know.

Yes, I have near-perfect hearing too (for scope, squeaky brakes hurt my ears) I come from many conversations on many phones and types and first off, CDMA technology is great for coverage, terrible for voice quality. HD Voice in Europe made for some of the best phone conversations I've ever had.
Back on track, feedback is most noticable (similar to the landline phone) when using the iPhone without a headset, but for me it's not an absolute criticality mainly because I use VoIP apps alot, so maybe it has desensitized me some over the past year.
But whenever I'm on a call, and the other person has me on speakerphone, I have alot of trouble talking because of the feedback loop caused. So the less of my voice I hear the better I can talk.

I am running firefox beta, suddenly i am unable to see anything except the top menu . I am unable to reset default as the window will not show.

Product deactivated unable to activate another computer

I deactivated my product on computer 1 but when I try to activate on computer 2 it tells me it is unable to activate. When I go out to my account it still shows my serial number still in use. Unable to call another program in servlet

I'm developing a Java program in Netweaver. It is a servlet program. External server will call this servlet program to pass the value in and then i use the value and pass to a stateless session bean. But now i'm required to make some change but in certain condition, it will use the value and pass to another servlet in another server.

I have a xml to response to the server that pass me the value. Need that to inform them i had received the msg. So now i not sure the error is it caused by the XML part. I already close it but when i try to run this i get this error message.

The XML caused the problem. I need to include the XML in the if statement instead of outside.

Error after using a servlet in ADF - unable to select another row in table

I have a go button and when I select a row in a table it call a download servlet. After I open or save the document I'm unable to make other selection in the table or make another action.
The table has single row selection active.
The servlet make part from a task-flow.

Ipod causes Itunes to not respond,unable to restore - another app running

I am an original Ipod mini user.I have not had many previous problems.Now,I want to update my Ipod but I get into a very frustrating loop when I connect my Ipod to Itunes 7.0.29-latest version. My Ipod is recognized but the program freezes after a very short while.I have to go to Task Manager to unfreeze the software and I cannot get anything to load onto the Ipod. When I go to restore the Ipod,I get a message that it "cannot be restored because another application is running".This is frustrating because there is nothing else running.
I am in a no win loop that I cannot recover from.Can someone please help.

This is also posted at https://decibel.ni.com/content/thread/17117. But since personally wasn't aware of the Actor Framework community I thought I'd post it here as well. My appologies if it is not acceptable.
I'm in the process of learning the Actor Framework and after studying the "Evaporative Cooler"-example I've gone ahead and tried to make a test/example my self. I am however unable to send messages to other actors. I can send messages from a given actor to the same actor. Below is the headlines of what I'm doing and the problem:
I have to actors: actor A and actor B. Both actors have task which only purpose is to launch a one button dialog with a message - actor A's method is called Task A.vi and actor B's method is called Task B.vi. Messages for these tasks have been created using the Actor Framework Message Maker and I've changed nothing compared to what the message maker made.
The purpose of my test/example is to have actor B be able to invoke Task A.vi (and get a dialog saying "Task A: <included message>") and invoke Task B.vi (getting a dialog saying "Task B: <included message>"). To do this actor B needs the message enqueuer of actor A.
To handle this "sharing" of actor A's enqueuer Actor B has as it's private data a Message Enqueuer. After launching the two actors in my main.vi I use an method of Actor B called Bundle A Message Enquere To Self.vi. This method simply takes an message enquere as input and bundles it by name into actor B ('s private data). This is an exact copy (as far as I can tell, but I could be mistaken since something is not working) of what is done in the "Evaporative Cooler"-example.
Actor B overwrites it's Actor Core.vi. This overriding vi calls it's parent method and presents two buttons ([Send to self] and [Send to A]) for triggering the sending of Task B to B itself or Task A to actor A. When sending to B itself ("Send Task B.vi") I use B's own message enqueuer - obtaining it by calling Read Self Enqueuer.vi. When sending to actor A ("Send Task A.vi") I unbundle B's private data called "A Message Enqueuer", which is (or should be) A's message enqueuer, and use that for seding "Send Task A.vi".
However the only thing that works is seding messages to B itself. If I press [Send to self] I get a nice popup with the message "Task B: <included message>". If I press [Send to A] nothing happens. I've tried to put int some dialogs in Do.vi of both Task B and Task A (saying "Hello from Task A do.vi" and "Hello from Task B do.vi") and only the dialog of Task B gets shown. So it's like Do.vi of Task A never gets executed.
Please find attached screenshots of all VIs and the VIs themselves. To run the project simply run main.vi it launches Actor B's actor core front panel which is the gui to send messages from. To stop it again press [Stop] on main.vi's frontpanel.

Unable to link another pc to Homegroup

I have 2 x HP desktops both running Win 8 64bit.
I can set up a Homegroup on either or both pcs but I cannot get either to connect to the other Homegroup, whether there is only 1 Homegroup in existence on either pc or a Homegroup established on both pcs and a connection is attempted from either end.
i have run the Homegroup and Network troubleshooters and they either find nothing wrong or when I ask for further help they either refer me to here or offer to phone a friend.

My network is arranged with the main-pc hard-wired to the broadband router and the other pc wirelessly networked using the type of adapter that plugs into the mains.
If I try to access the other pc from either end in networking I am asked for a login username and password which I did not set up initially.
