Help Windows 10 - Microphone not working

Hello, I recently installed Windows 10 then i installed Skype on it. I use an Asus R510LB laptop with built-in microphone, a Realtek (high definition audio) I have an issue: my microphone doesn't work with Skype or maybe is not detected, or probably the sound is too low for it to show on Skype. My microphone works fine on Teamspeak or on any other softwares. When i did the Skype echo test, when i talked on it, i heard nothing in return.When i check my settings, (tools, options, audio settings), my microphone volume bar doesn't detect any sound when i make some noise or when i speak.It's set as "automatically adjust microphone settings" and it's on "high" ,maximum, in the white volume bar.It's frustrating because everything was working fine on windows 7. The speakers are working fine. Thanks for the help.

I'm not a techie by any means, but I seem to have figured it out by mere hunting and pecking! You have to update your diver, but it's not the driver in "audio inputs and outputs" it's the driver under "sound, video, and game controllers" 1. Run Device Manager2. scroll down to Sound, video and game controllers3. single, left click the small arrow to the left.  It will expand the "Sound Video, and game controllers"4. Single click / select your audio controller -- in my case it was "Realtek High Definition Audio"5. Now you need to tell it to update the software driver.  I did this by selecting the 3rd icon in from the right.  It's an icon with a small green arrow pointing up.6.  Tell it to "search automatically for driver software" -- Note:  you have to be connected to the internet.7.  In my case, it found a new driver which was installed, and then the microphone worked  If this specific download does not fix the problem.  Look through your list of device managers, and do this with each audio driver.  Hopefully, once all your drivers are updated the mic will work.
